2. Intended purpose
This is an entertainment electronics device.
The headphones are intended for the play-
back of sound from audio devices at nor-
mal volumes, and for use as a hands-free
system. The button additionally allows you
to accept or end a call.
The device is designed for use in private
households. This device must not be used
for commercial purposes.

If necessary, the following symbols and
warnings will be used in these operating in-
structions:
DANGER! This symbol, in combi-
nation with the note "Danger"
means a high risk. Failure to ob-
serve this warning may result in in-
jury to life and limb.

ure to observe this warning may

DANGER of accidents due to
impaired perception
~ Surrounding noises may sound different
than usual. Never use the headphones
during activities when you must be at-
tentively aware of your surroundings,

machinery or vehicles in traffic.
(This also applies to bicycles.)
You must also comply with the legal
provisions and regulations of the coun-
try in which you are using the device.

DANGER of affecting cardiac
pacemakers
~ The magnetic fields generated by the
headphones may impair the functioning
of cardiac pacemakers and implanted
defibrillators. You must therefore main-
tain a minimum distance of 10 cm be-
tween the headphones and the cardiac
pacemaker / defibrillator.
WARNING! Risk of hearing
damage
~ Set a low volume on the audio device
before you connect the headphones to
the sound source.
~ Avoid excessive volumes, particularly
over extended periods or in the case of
frequent use. Excessive volume can re-
sult in permanent hearing damage.

~ Protect the device against damage,
e.g. from:
- drips and splashes of water
- heat, direct sunlight and open flames
(e.g. candles)
- impacts and similar violent effects
~ Protect the cable against damage, e.g.
from:
-sharp edges
- hot places
-clamping or crushing
~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
~ To avoid any risk, do not make modifi-
cations to the device. Repairs must be
carried out by a specialist workshop or
the Service Centre.

5. Operation
Remove all packing material.
Check that the device is undamaged.

Connecting
1. Set the sound source to a low volume.
2. Insert the TRRS connector4 into the
headphone socket of the sound source
(e.g. MP3 player, telephone).
Inserting the headphones
1. Put on the headphones in such a way
that the marking R is on the right and L
is on the left.
2. Set the volume of the sound source.
Make absolutely sure that you are still
able to hear the surrounding sounds.
Functions of the operating button
The operating button3 is used to perform
basic functions while playing music and
making telephone calls.

NOTE: the operating button's3 functions
depend on the connected device. It is pos-
sible, that not all of the functions will be
supported by all audio devices.

Microphone
The microphone2 can be used during tele-
phone calls. The closer it is to your mouth,
the clearer the communication will be.
Changing earpads
Change the earpads6 if necessary, in or-
der to individually adjust the headphones
to your ears.
6. Cleaning / storing
WARNING! Risk of material
damage!
~ Protect the appliance from water drops
and water spray.
~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.

If necessary, clean the device with a
soft, damp cloth.
When no longer using the device, store
it in a place where neither high temper-
atures nor moisture can affect it.
7. Disposal
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Di-
rective 2012/19/EC. The
symbol showing a wheelie
bin crossed through indi-
cates that the product re-
quires separate refuse collection in the Europe-
an Union. This applies to the product and all
accessories marked with this symbol. Products
identified with this symbol may not be discard-
ed with normal household waste, but have to

be taken to a collection point for recycling
electric and electronic devices. This disposal is
free of charge. Protect the environment and
dispose of waste properly. Further information
can be obtained from your local disposal ser-
vice or city/municipal administration.
Packaging
The packaging is made from recyclable ma-
terials. Dispose of the packaging sorted by
materials. When disposing of the packag-
ing, make sure you comply with the environ-
mental regulations applicable in your
country.

8. Problem-solving
If your headphones fail to function as re-
quired, please try this checklist first. Perhaps
there is only a minor problem, and you can
solve it yourself.
