Deutsch

Die EHEIM reeflexUV+e-Klärer reinigen mit Hilfe von UV-C-Strahlung das Aquarienwasser von Süß- und Meerwasser-

Aquarien und werden im Wasserkreislauf des Filtersystems (druckseitig) oder über eine separate Umwälzpumpe (nicht

im Lieferumfang) betrieben. Das Aquarienwasser fließt durch ein Glasrohr permanent an der UV-C-Lampe im Inneren des

Aluminiumgehäuses vorbei. Dadurch werden freischwimmende Algen, Bakterien, Pilze, Viren und andere Krankheits-

erreger reduziert bzw. eliminiert. Die EHEIM reeflexUV+e-Klärer sorgen für sauberes, kristallklares Aquarienwasser und

gesunde Fische.

Informationen zum Gebrauch der Bedienungsanleitung

Bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen, muss die Bedienungsanleitung vollständig gelesen

und verstanden werden. Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig bevor Sie das Gerät zur Wartung öffnen.

Betrachten Sie die Bedienungsanleitung als Teil des Produkts und bewahren Sie sie gut und erreichbar auf.

Einsatzgebiet

Das Gerät und alle im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Teile sind für die Benutzung im privaten Bereich bestimmt und dürfen aus-

schließlich verwendet werden:

• zur Desinfektion von Aquarienwasser von Süss- und Meerwasseraquarien

• in Innenräumen

• unter Einhaltung der technischen Daten

Für das Gerät gelten folgende Einschränkungen:

•UVC-Lampe niemals außerhalb des Gehäuses betreiben oder für andere Zwecke verwenden.

• nicht für gewerbliche oder industrielle Zwecke verwenden

• die Wassertemperatur darf 35°C nicht überschreiten

•nicht gefördert werden dürfen ätzende, leicht brennbare, aggressive oder explosive Stoffe, Lebensmittel sowie

Trinkwasser

• niemals ohne Wasserdurchfluss betreiben

Sicherheitshinweise

Von diesem Gerät können Gefahren für Personen und Sachwerte ausgehen, wenn das

Gerät unsachgemäß bzw. nicht dem Verwendungszweck entsprechend eingesetzt wird

oder wenn die Sicherheitshinweise nicht beachtet werden.

• Verwenden Sie nur Original-Ersatzteile und -Zubehör für das Gerät.

• Verwenden Sie niemals die UVC-Lampe außerhalb des Gehäuses.

• Schauen Sie niemals in das Licht der UVC-Lampe.

• Die elektrischen Installationen müssen den Internationalen und nationalen

Errichterbestimmungen entsprechen.

• Das Gerät sollte über eine Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem Bemes-

sungsfehlerstrom von maximal 30 mA abgesichert sein. Bei Fragen und Pro-

blemen wenden Sie sich an eine Elektrofachkraft.

• Trennen Sie sofort alle Geräte im Aquarium vom Stromnetz bei einer Was-

serleckage bzw. wenn die Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung auslöst.

• Trennen Sie grundsätzlich alle Geräte im Aquarium vom Stromnetz, wenn sie

nicht benutzt werden, bevor Sie Teile ein- bzw. ausbauen und vor allen Rei-

nigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten.

• Die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes kann nicht ersetzt werden. Bei Be-

schädigung der Leitung ist das Gerät zu verschrotten.

• Schützen Sie Steckdose und Netzstecker vor Feuchtigkeit. Es emp-

fiehlt sich mit dem Netzkabel eine Tropfschlaufe zu bilden, die ver-

hindert, dass evtl. am Kabel entlang laufendes Wasser zur Steck-

dose gelangt und dadurch ein Kurzschluss verursacht wird.

• Die elektrischen Daten des Gerätes müssen mit den Daten des Stromnetzes

übereinstimmen. Sie finden diese Daten auf dem Typenschild, der Verpac-

kung oder in dieser Anleitung.

A Begriffsbestimmung

Beim Auspacken prüfen, ob alle Teile vorhanden sind. Die UV-C-Lampe ist aus Sicherheitsgründen separat verpackt und

nicht im Gerät montiert, um Bruchschäden beim Transport zu verhindern.

ACHTUNG: UV-C-Lampe enthält Quecksilber! Die UV-C-Lampe sorgfältig behandeln BRUCHGEFAHR! Glas-

körper nicht direkt mit den Fingern berühren. Unbedingt weiches Tuch oder ähnliches verwenden.

Auspacken

Vor der Montage Anleitung aufmerksam lesen und Sicherheitshinweise unbedingt beachten.

B Montage

Dieses Gerät enthält einen UV-C-Strahler.

ACHTUNG: Um einen Wasserschaden zu vermeiden, vor der Installation des UV-Klärers in das Schlauchsystem,

Filteranlage bzw. Umwälzpumpe außer Betrieb nehmen und darauf achten, dass das Leitungssystem kein Wasser

mehr enthält.

UV-Klärer EHEIM reeflexUV+e auf der Druckseite (Wasserrücklauf vom Außenfilter oder von Umwälzpumpe) installieren.

Schlauchenden auf die Schlauchanschlüsse hi aufschieben und mit Überwurfmutter m sichern. Schlauchanschluss mit

dem UV-Klärer durch drehen der Schraubhülsen g verbinden und handfest anziehen. Filteranlage bzw. Umwälzpumpe

wieder in Betrieb nehmen. Bedienungsanleitung des Herstellers beachten.

Systemvoraussetzung

WLAN-fähige Endgeräte (Smart-Phone, Tablet, Notebook etc.).

Netzwerk erstellen bzw. verbinden

Gerät durch einstecken des Netzsteckers in Betrieb nehmen. Funktionskontrollfenster j leuchtet blau.

• Status-LED n blinkt weiß: Netzwerk des Gerätes wird erstellt.

• Status-LED leuchtet blau: Gerät hat Netzwerk erstellt.

Verbinden mit WLAN-Netzwerk

1. Öffnen Sie die Netzwerkeinstellungen Ihres Endgerätes (Smart-Phone, Tablet, Notebook etc.).

2. Verbinden Sie Ihr Endgerät mit dem WLAN-Netzwerk des Gerätes (SSID) EHEIM reeflex XXXXXXXX.

3. Geben Sie den Netzwerksicherheitsschlüssel (Key) ein.

Sie finden die SSID sowie den Netzwerksicherheitsschlüssel (Key) auf dem Etikett am Vorschaltgerät f oder scannen

Sie den QR-Code 1 zum Verbindungsaufbau.

Aufrufen der Website

4. Öffnen Sie Ihren Webbrowser und geben Sie folgende Web-Adresse ein: http://192.168.1.1

Sie können auch den QR-Code 2 (siehe Etikett) verwenden, um die Webseite im Browser zu öffnen.

Erstkonfiguration

5. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Sprache aus der Sprachauswahl und folgen Sie den Anweisungen für die Erstkonfiguration.

Reset

Berühren Sie das Touchfeld o mit einem Finger für ca. 8 bis 10 Sekunden, bis die Status-LED im Farbwechsel leuchtet.

Leuchtet die Status-LED grün, ist der Reset abgeschlossen und das Gerät erstellt sein Netzwerk erneut. Netzwerksicherheits-

schlüssel (Key) und QR-Code 1 sind ungültig. Die Verbindung mit dem Netzwerk ist ohne Netzwerksicherheitsschlüssel (Key)

möglich.

Bedeutung Status-LED

• Status-LED blinkt weiß: Netzwerk wird erstellt.

• Status-LED leuchtet blau: Gerät hat Netzwerk erstellt und ist betriebsbereit.

• Status-LED leuchtet grün: Gerät ist mit einem anderen EHEIMdigital-Gerät verbunden.

Bedienung

Die beiden Kreuzschlitzschrauben c öffnen und Gehäusedeckel b abheben. Fassung für UV-C-Lampe e herausziehen.

UV-C-Lampe d vorsichtig in die Fassung e einsetzen bis sie hörbar einrastet. Fassung mit montierter UV-C-Lampe in das

Gehäuse vorsichtig wieder einsetzen und fest andrücken. Gehäusedeckel aufsetzen und festschrauben.

ACHTUNG: UV-C-Lampe niemals außerhalb des Gerätes in Betrieb nehmen. Unbeabsichtigter Gebrauch des Gerätes

oder Beschädigung des Gehäuses kann den Austritt gefährlicher UV-C-Strahlung zur Folge haben. UV-C-Strahlung

kann den Augen und der Haut auch in geringer Dosierung Schaden zufügen.

Halterung k und Vorschaltgerät f an einer geeigneten Stelle (z.B. im Aquarienunterschrank) mit den beiliegenden

Schrauben befestigen und UV-Klärer in der Halterung fixieren.

ACHTUNG: Vor Wartungsarbeiten ist das Gerät vom Netz zu trennen.

Um bei Reinigung und Wartung einen Wasserschaden zu vermeiden, vor der Installation des UV-Klärers in das

Schlauchsystem, die Filteranlage bzw. Umwälzpumpe außer Betrieb nehmen und darauf achten, dass das Leitungs-

system kein Wasser mehr enthält.

C Reinigung und Wartung

Reinigung: UV-Klärer durch drehen der Schraubhülsen g vom Leitungssystem trennen und aus der Halterung heraus-

nehmen. Das Glasrohr im Inneren des UV-Klärers in regelmäßigen Abständen, am besten bei jeder Filterreini-

gung, spätestens nach 3 Monaten reinigen. EHEIM Universal-Reinigungsbürste (Best.-Nr. 4005570) mehr-

mals durchziehen.

Wartung: Die UV-C-Lampe hat eine max. Betriebszeit von ca. 8.000 Stunden und muss dann erneuert werden. Der Zeit-

punkt wird in der Geräteübersicht der Software angezeigt bzw. per Email-Nachricht mitgeteilt.

Vor der Montage Anleitung aufmerksam lesen und Sicherheitshinweise unbedingt beachten.

ACHTUNG: UV-C-Lampe niemals außerhalb des Gerätes in Betrieb nehmen. Unbeabsichtigter Gebrauch des Gerätes

oder Beschädigung des Gehäuses kann den Austritt gefährlicher UV-C-Strahlung zur Folge haben. UV-C-Strahlung

kann den Augen und der Haut auch in geringer Dosierung Schaden zufügen.

Die beiden Kreuzschlitzschrauben c öffnen und Gehäusedeckel b abheben. Fassung mit UV-C-Lampe aus dem Gehäuse

nehmen und UV-C-Lampe aus der Lampenfassung vorsichtig herausziehen. Neue UV-C-Lampe vorsichtig in die Fassung

einsetzen, bis sie hörbar einrastet (siehe Abb. B3).

ACHTUNG: UV-C-Lampe enthält Quecksilber! Die UV-C-Lampe sorgfältig behandeln BRUCHGEFAHR! Glas-

körper nicht direkt mit den Fingern berühren. Unbedingt weiches Tuch oder ähnliches verwenden.

Entsorgen

Beachten Sie im Falle der Entsorgung des Geräts die jeweiligen gesetzlichen Vorschriften. Information zur Ent-

sorgung von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten in der europäischen Gemeinschaft: Innerhalb der Euro-

päischen Gemeinschaft wird für elektrisch betriebene Geräte die Entsorgung durch nationale Regelungen vorge-

geben, die auf der EU-Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) basieren. Danach darf das Gerät nicht

mehr mit dem kommunalen oder Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Das Gerät wird bei den kommunalen Sammelstellen

bzw. Wertstoffhöfen kostenlos entgegengenommen. Die Produktverpackung besteht aus recyclingfähigen Mate-

rialien. Entsorgen Sie diese umweltgerecht und führen diese der Wiederverwertung zu.

Für Deutschland gilt: Besitzer von Altgeräten aus privaten Haushalten können diese bei den Sammelstellen der öf-

fentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger oder bei den von Herstellern oder Vertreibern im Sinne des ElektroG einge-

richteten Rücknahmestellen unentgeltlich abgeben.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING – To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following.

a) READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

b) DANGER – To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken since water is employed in the use

of aquarium equipment.

For each of the following situations, do not attempt repairs by yourself; return the appliance to an authorized

service facility for service or discard the appliance.

1) If the appliance falls into the water, DON’T reach for it! First unplug it and then retrieve it. If electrical com-

ponents of the appliance get wet, unplug the appliance immediately. (Non-immersible equipment only)

2) If the appliance shows any sign of abnormal water leakage, immediately unplug it from the power source.

(Immersible equipment only)

3) Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on parts not in-

tended to be wet.

4)Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is malfunctioning or has been dropped

or damaged in any manner.

5) To avoid the possibility of the appliance plug or receptacle getting wet, position aquarium stand and tank to

one side of a wall-mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle or plug.

A ”drip loop”, shown in the figure, should be arranged by the user for each cord connecting an aquarium ap-

pliance to a receptacle. The ”drip loop” is that part of the cord below the level of the receptacle, or the con-

nector if an extension cord is used, to prevent water traveling along the cord and coming in contact with the

receptacle.

If the plug or socket does get wet, DON’T unplug the cord. Disconnect the

fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the appliance. Then unplug and

examine for presence of water in the receptacle.

c) Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

d) To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts or hot parts such as heaters, re-

flectors, lamp bulbs, and the like.

e) Always unplug an appliance from an outlet when not in use, before putting on or

taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never yank cord to pull plug from outlet. Grasp

the plug and pull to disconnect.

f) Do not use an appliance for other than intended use. The use of attachments not

recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause an unsafe condi-

tion.

g) Do not install or store the appliance where it will be exposed to the weather or to temperatures below freezing.

h) Make sure an appliance mounted on a tank is securely in stalled before operating it.

i) Read and observe all the important notices on the appliance.

j) If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating should be used. A cord rated for less amperes or

watts than the appliance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not be

tripped over or pulled.

The EHEIM reeflexUV+e clarifiers use UV-C radiation to disinfect aquarium water in fresh and sea water aquariums and are

operated in the filter system's water cycle (discharge side) or by using a separate circulation pump (not included).

Aquarium water permanently flows through a glass tube and past the UV-C bulb inside the aluminium body. As a result,

free-floating algae, bacteria, fungi, viruses and other pathogens are reduced or eliminated. The EHEIM reeflexUV+e clarifiers

ensure that aquarium water is clean and crystal-clear, keeping the fish healthy.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance should be grounded to minimize the possibility

of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with an electric

cord having an equipment grounding conductor and a groun-

ding type plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is

installed and grounded in accordance with all appropriate

codes and ordinances.

This appliance is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has

a grounding plug that looks like the plug illustrated in (A)

below. A temporary adapter which looks like the adapter illu-

strated in (B) and (C) below may be used to connect this plug

to a two-pole receptacle as shown in (B) if a grounded outlet

is not available. The temporary adapter should be used only

until a grounded outlet can be installed by a qualified electrician. The green-colored rigid ear (lug, and the like) extending

Safety instructions

• In the event of water leakage or when the residual current protection device

is triggered, immediately disconnect all devices in the aquarium from the

power supply.

• If they are not being used, always disconnect all devices in the aquarium

from the power supply before you install/remove any parts and before all

cleaning and maintenance work.

• The mains connection cable of the pump cannot be replaced. If the cable is

damaged, the pump must be scrapped.

• Protect the mains socket and mains plug against moisture. It is

recommended to form a drip loop with the mains cable to prevent

any water running along the cable to the mains socket.

• The electrical data of the pump must match the data of the power mains. This data

is found on the type plate, the packaging and in these instructions.

A Definition

When unpacking, check that all parts have been included. For safety reasons, the UV-C bulb has been packed separately

and not assembled in the unit in order to prevent breakage during transport.

Unpacking

Read the operating and safety instructions carefully and comply with all instructions prior to assembly.

Open both cross-head screws c and lift up the casing cover b. Pull out the UV-C bulb fitting e. Carefully put the UV-C

bulb d into the fitting e until it audibly clicks in place. Carefully replace the fitting with the assembled UV-C bulb into the

casing and press down firmly. Replace the casing cover and screw down firmly.

CAUTION: Never operate UV-C bulbs outside the device. Unintentional use of the device or damage to the housing

can release dangerous UV-C radiation. UV-C radiation may damage the skin and eyes, even at low doses.

Fasten holder k and ballast f in a suitable location (e.g. in the cabinet beneath the aquarium) using the screws provided

and fix UV clarifier in the holder.

CAUTION: In order to avoid any water damage, remove the filtration equipment or circulation pump before fitting

the UV clarifier into the tubing system, ensuring that the piping system no longer contains any water.

Install the UV clarifier EHEIM reeflexUV+e on the discharge side (return water from external filter or from circulation pump).

Slip end of hose onto the hose connection h i and secure with union nut m. Join the hose connection with the UV clarifier

by turning the screw sleeves g and tighten until hand-tight. Put filtration equipment or circulation pump back into operation.

Follow the manufacturer's operating instructions.

B Assembly

CAUTION: UV-C bulb contains mercury! Handle the UV-C bulb carefully DANGER OF BREAKAGE!

Do not touch the glass body directly with fingers. Be sure to use a soft cloth or similar material.

This device contains a UV-C bulb.

System requirement

WiFi-enabled terminal device (smartphone, tablet, notebook etc.)

Creating the network

Put the device into operation by plugging in the mains plug. Function control window j lights up blue.

• The status LED n flashes white: The network is being searched for or created.

• The status LED illuminates blue: A new network has been created.

Connecting to the WiFi network

1. Open the network settings of your terminal device (smartphone, tablet, notebook etc.).

2. Connect the terminal device to the WiFi network (SSID) EHEIM reeflex XXXXXXXX.

3. Enter the network security key.

The network security key is found on the label of the ballast f. Alternatively, you can also scan the QR code 1

(see label) to establish the connection.

Calling up the website

4. Open your web browser and enter the following address: http://192.168.1.1

Alternatively, you can also scan the QR code 2 (see label) to open the software in the browser.

Initial configuration

5. Select the desired language from the language selection and follow the instructions for the initial configuration.

Reset

Touch the touch field o with a finger for approx. 8 to 10 seconds until the status LED changes color. If the status LED lights

up green, the reset is complete and the device has been created the network again. The network security key and QR code 1

are invalid. The network can be connected to without the network security key.

Meaning of the status LED

• The status LED flashes white: The network is being searched for or created

• The status LED illuminates blue: The device is in master mode

• The status LED illuminates green: The device is connected to another EHEIM digital device.

Operation

Read the operating and safety instructions carefully and comply with all instructions prior to assembly.

Open both cross-head screws c and lift up the casing cover b. Remove the fitting with the UV-C bulb from the casing and

carefully pull the UV-C bulb out of the bulb fitting. Carefully insert the new UV-C bulb into the fitting until it audibly clicks in

place (see image B3).

CAUTION: Disconnect from the mains before servicing the device. In order to avoid any water damage when

cleaning and performing maintenance work, remove the filtration equipment or circulation pump before fitting

the UV clarifier into the tubing system, ensuring that the piping system no longer contains any water.

Cleaning: Disconnect the UV clarifier from the piping system by turning the screw sleeves g and removing from the

holder. Clean the glass tube inside the UV clarifier at regular intervals, ideally every time the filter is cleaned,

at the latest after 3 months. Pull the EHEIM Universal Cleaning Brush (Order No. 4005570) through it several

times.

Maintenance:

The UV-C bulb has a maximum operating period of approx. 8,000 hours and must then be replaced. The time

is displayed in the device overview of the software or communicated via email message.

Clarificateur UVC reeflexUV+e 500 / 800 / 1500 / 2000

Français

Les clarificateurs EHEIM reeflexUV+e désinfectent à l'aide de rayonnements UV-C l'eau d'aquarium des aquariums d'eau douce

et de mer et seront exploités dans le circuit d'eau du système de filtration (côté pression) ou par une pompe de circulation séparée

(non incluse). L'eau de l'aquarium passe en permanence à côté de la lampe UV-C à travers un tube en verre. De cette manière,

les algues en flottaison, bactéries, champignons, virus et autres agents pathogènes seront réduits ou éliminés. Les clarificateurs

EHEIM reeflexUV+e contribuent à l'obtention d'une eau d'aquarium propre, cristalline ainsi que des poissons sains.

• En cas de fuite d’eau ou de déclenchement du dispositif de protection contre

les courants de fuite, débranchez immédiatement du secteur tous les appa-

reils de l’aquarium.

• En règle générale, quand ils ne sont pas utilisés, débranchez du secteur tous

les appareils de l’aquarium avant de monter ou démonter des pièces et avant

tous travaux de nettoyage ou de maintenance.

• Le câble de raccordement secteur de l’appareil ne peut pas être remplacé.

L’appareil doit être mise au rebut lorsque le câble est endommagé.

• Protégez la prise et la fiche secteur de l’humidité. Nous conseil-

lons de former une boucle avec le câble secteur, afin d’empêcher

que de l’eau ne coule le long du câble et s’infiltre dans la prise.
