3 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

3.1 Verwendungszweck

Das Orthesengelenk ist ausschließlich paarweise zur orthetischen Versor

gung der unteren Extremität bei einem Patienten einzusetzen.

3.2 Indikationen

• Bei Teillähmung oder kompletter Lähmung der Beinmuskulatur

• Orthopädische Erkrankungen der unteren Extremität

Die Indikation wird vom Arzt gestellt.

3.3 Lebensdauer

Das Produkt ist bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung und fachgerechter

Montage für eine Lebensdauer von 3Jahren ausgelegt.

3.4 Qualifikation

Die Versorgung eines Patienten mit dem Produkt darf nur von ausgebilde

tem Fachpersonal vorgenommen werden. Es wird vorausgesetzt, dass das

Fachpersonal im Umgang mit den unterschiedlichen Techniken, Materialien,

Werkzeugen und Maschinen vertraut ist.

3.5 Kombinationsmöglichkeiten

Die Orthesenkniegelenke 17B3*, 17B26*, 17B43* und 17B47* können mit

dem System-Vorbringer 17Y32 oder 17Y35 kombiniert werden.

►Führen Sie keine Wärmebehandlung über 300°C durch.

►Entfernen Sie vor der thermischen Bearbeitung sämtliche temperatur

kritischen Komponenten (z.B. Kunststoffe).

HINWEIS

Produkt wird falschen Umgebungsbedingungen ausgesetzt

Beschädigungen, Versprödung oder Zerstörung durch unsachgemäße

Handhabung

►Vermeiden Sie die Lagerung bei kondensierender Umgebungsfeuch

tigkeit.

►Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit abrasiven Medien (z.B. Sand, Staub).

►Setzen Sie das Produkt keinen Temperaturen unter -10°C und über

+60°C aus (z.B. Sauna, übermäßiger Sonneneinstrahlung, Trocknen

auf der Heizung).

INFORMATION

Erhöhter Verschleiß

Die Orthesenkniegelenke nur in Verbindung mit freibeweglichen oder fuß

hebenden Orthesenknöchelgelenken einsetzen. Bei einer Kombination mit

Orthesenknöchelgelenken mit Dorsalanschlag erhöht sich der Verschleiß.

5 Gebrauchsfähigkeit herstellen

INFORMATION

Parallele Ausrichtung der Orthesengelenke

Den Justiersatz 743R6 zur Platzierung der Orthesengelenke am Gipspositiv

verwenden.

Schienen einkleben

Benötigte Materialien: Spezialklebstoff 636W28*, entfettender Reiniger

Aus Stabilitätsgründen ist die Verklebung der Schienen in den Einsteckbe

reichen erforderlich.

1) Die Verbindungsflächen mit einem entfettenden Reiniger reinigen.

2) Den Spezialklebstoff auf die Verbindungsflächen auftragen.

3) Die Schienen einsetzen.

4) Mit den beiliegenden Schrauben fixieren.

5) Mindestens 4Stunden aushärten lassen.

INFORMATION: Die endgültige Festigkeit ist nach 16Stunden er

reicht.

Korrosionsschutz verbessern

Zur Verbesserung des Korrosionsschutzes das Produkt polieren oder sin

tern. Für die Oberflächenbeschichtung empfiehlt Ottobock das Sinterpulver

618T40*.

►Zum Oberflächebeschichten das Material nicht länger als 5 Minuten

und bei maximal 150°C erwärmen.

Schutzvorrichtung verwenden

►Verwenden Sie Gelenkschützer, um das Produkt vor Schmutz zu schüt

zen.

6 Reinigung

Das Produkt nach dem Kontakt mit salz-, chlor- oder seifenhaltigen Wasser

oder bei Verschmutzungen umgehend reinigen.

1) Das Produkt mit reinem Süßwasser abspülen.

2) Das Produkt mit einem Tuch abtrocknen oder an der Luft trocknen las

sen. Direkte Hitzeeinwirkung vermeiden (z.B. Ofen- oder Heizkörperhit

ze).

7 Wartung

INFORMATION

Möglicherweise ist das Produkt patientenspezifisch einer erhöhten

Belastung ausgesetzt.

►Verkürzen Sie die Wartungsintervalle gemäß den zu erwartenden Be

lastungen.

Der Hersteller schreibt für das Produkt mindestens eine halbjährliche Funkti

ons- und Verschleißkontrolle vor.

Die Ersatzteile sind im Kapitel Produktbeschreibung unter „Bauteile/Kon

struktion“ aufgeführt.

Nur Spezialschmiermittel 633F7 verwenden.

Kugellager auswechseln

HINWEIS

Verkanten des Kugellagers

Mechanische Beschädigung

►Das Kugellager beim Einsetzen in das Orthesengelenk nicht verkanten

oder beschädigen.

1) Die Schrauben lösen und das Orthesengelenk demontieren.

2) Das Kugellager aus dem Orthesengelenk entfernen und mit neuem er

setzen.

3) Das Orthesengelenk montieren und die Schrauben anziehen.

4) Zur finalen Montage die Schraubverbindung mit Loctite 241 sichern.

8 Entsorgung

Das Produkt gemäß den geltenden nationalen Vorschriften entsorgen.

9 Rechtliche Hinweise

Alle rechtlichen Bedingungen unterliegen dem jeweiligen Landesrecht des

Verwenderlandes und können dementsprechend variieren.

9.1 Haftung

3 Intended use

3.1 Indications for use

The orthotic joint is intended exclusively for use as a pair for orthotic fittings

of the lower limbs on one patient.

3.2 Indications

• Partial or total paralysis of the leg muscles

• Orthopaedic diseases of the lower limbs

Indications must be determined by the physician.

3.3 Lifetime

The product is designed for a lifetime of 3years when used as intended and

assembled professionally.

3.4 Qualification

Patients may be fitted with the product only by trained qualified personnel.

The qualified personnel must be familiar with the handling of the various

techniques, materials, machines and tools.

3.5 Combination possibilities

The 17B3*, 17B26*, 17B43* and 17B47* orthotic knee joints can be com

bined with the 17Y32 or 17Y35 system extension assist.

4 Safety

Increased wear and tear

The orthotic knee joints are intended only for use in combination with free-

motion or foot lifting orthotic ankle joints. Wear occurs more rapidly in

combinations involving orthotic ankle joints with a dorsal stop.

5 Preparing the product for use

INFORMATION

Parallel alignment of the orthotic joints

Use the 743R6 alignment fixture to position the orthotic joints on the plaster

positive.

Gluing in bars

Required materials: 636W28* special adhesive, degreasing cleaner

The bars must be glued in the insertion zones to ensure stability.

1) Clean the connecting surfaces with a degreasing cleaner.

2) Apply the special adhesive to the connecting surfaces.

3) Insert the bars.

4) Secure with the enclosed screws.

5) Allow to cure for at least 4hours.

INFORMATION: Final bonding strength will be reached after

16hours.

Improving corrosion protection

Polish or sinter the product for improved corrosion protection. Ottobock

recommends the 618T40* sintering powder for surface coating.

►Do not heat the material longer than 5minutes at max. 150°C for sur

face coating.

Using protective devices

►Use joint protectors to protect the product against soiling.

6 Cleaning

Promptly clean the product after contact with water containing salt, chlorine

or soap, or if it gets dirty.

1) Rinse the product with clear fresh water.

2) Dry the product with a cloth or allow it to air dry. Avoid exposure to direct

heat (e.g. from an oven or radiator).

7 Maintenance

INFORMATION

The product may be exposed to increased loads by the patient.

►Shorten the maintenance intervals according to the expected loads.

The manufacturer requires at least a semi-annual inspection of the product

to verify functionality and check for wear.

Spare parts are listed in the section "Components/design".

Only use 633F7 special lubricant.

Replacing the ball bearing

NOTICE

Canting the ball bearing

Mechanical damage

►Do not cant or damage the ball bearing while inserting it into the orthot

ic joint.

1) Loosen the screws and disassemble the orthotic joint.

2) Remove the ball bearing from the orthotic joint and replace it with a new

one.

3) Assemble the orthotic joint and tighten the screws.

4) For the final assembly, secure the screw connection with Loctite241.

8 Disposal

Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.

3.1 Usage prévu

L’articulation d’orthèse doit être utilisée exclusivement par paire pour

l’appareillage orthétique du membre inférieur d’un patient.

3.2 Indications

• Paralysie partielle ou complète des muscles de la jambe

L’indication est déterminée par le médecin.

3.3 Durée de vie

Le produit est conçu pour une durée de vie de 3ans si son utilisation est

conforme et le montage correct.

3.4 Qualification

Seul un personnel spécialisé dûment formé est autorisé à appareiller un pa

tient avec le produit. Il est entendu que ces professionnels sont familiarisés

à l’utilisation des diverses méthodes et différents matériaux, outils et ma

chines requis.

3.5 Combinaisons possibles

Les articulations de genou pour orthèse 17B3*, 17B26*, 17B43* et 17B47*

peuvent être combinées avec le système de rappel 17Y32 ou 17Y35.

Usure accrue

Utilisez les articulations d’orthèses uniquement avec des articulations or

thétiques de cheville mobiles ou relevant le pied. En cas de combinaison

avec des articulations orthétiques de cheville à butée dorsale, l’usure des

composants augmente.

5 Mise en service du produit

INFORMATION

Parallélisme des articulations d’orthèse

Utiliser le kit d’outils de réglage 743R6 pour positionner les articulations

pour orthèse sur le positif en plâtre.

Collage des ferrures

Matériel nécessaire : colle spéciale 636W28*, dégraissant

Pour des raisons de stabilité, il est nécessaire de coller les ferrures dans les

zones d'emboîtement.

1) Nettoyez les surfaces de raccordement à l’aide d’un dégraissant.

2) Appliquez la colle spéciale sur les surfaces de raccordement.

3) Placez les ferrures.

4) Bloquez-les à l’aide des vis fournies.

5) Laissez durcir pendant au moins 4heures.

INFORMATION: la résistance définitive est obtenue au bout de

16heures.

Amélioration de la protection anti-corrosion

Polir ou fritter le produit pour en améliorer la protection anti-corrosion.

Ottobock recommande la poudre frittée 618T40* pour le revêtement de sur

face.

►Pour le revêtement de surface, ne pas chauffer le matériau plus de 5mi

nutes et à max. 150°C.

Utilisation d’un dispositif de protection

►Utilisez des protège-articulations pour protéger le produit contre les sa

lissures.

6 Nettoyage

Après tout contact avec de l’eau salée, chlorée ou savonneuse ou en cas de

salissures, nettoyez immédiatement le produit.

1) Rincez le produit à l’eau douce et claire.

2) Essuyez le produit avec un chiffon ou laissez-le sécher à l’air libre. Évitez

toute exposition directe à la chaleur (p.ex. la chaleur des poêles ou des

radiateurs).

7 Maintenance

INFORMATION

Il est possible que le produit soit soumis à une sollicitation accrue

en fonction du patient.

►Réduisez les intervalles de maintenance en fonction des sollicitations

prévues.

Le fabricant exige un contrôle, au minimum tous les 6mois, du fonctionne

ment et de l’usure des articulations.

Coincement du roulement à billes

Dégradation mécanique

►Ne pas coincer ni endommager le roulement à billes lors de son inser

tion dans l’articulation pour orthèse.

1) Desserrer les vis et démonter l’articulation pour orthèse.

2) Retirer le roulement à billes de l’articulation pour orthèse et le remplacer

par un roulement à billes neuf.

3) Monter l’articulation pour orthèse et serrer les vis.

4) Pour le montage final, bloquer le raccord vissé avec du frein-filet Loc

tite241.

Éliminez le produit conformément aux prescriptions nationales en vigueur.
