 Verwenden Sie die Monteurhilfe nur in gut belüfteten Räumen

oder im Freien.

 Tauchen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser.

 Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Hitze und Nässe.

 Verwenden Sie nur das Kältemittel, das für diese Ausführung

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch 4-Way Manifold

3 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Das 4-Wege-Ventil ist ausgelegt zum Prüfen und Befüllen von Fahrzeug-

klimaanlagen.

Das 4-Wege-Ventil ist nur einsetzbar für Klimaanlagen, die mit einem Nieder-

druck-, einem Hochdruck- oder beiden Anschlüssen ausgestattet sind.

Das 4-Wege-Ventil ist in zwei Modellen verfügbar:

 für Klimaanlagen mit R-134a (Art.-Nr. 8885100161)

 für Klimaanlagen mit R-1234yf (Art.-Nr. 8885100162)

4 Technische Beschreibung

Das 4-Wege-Ventil ist eine Monteurhilfe, die sich eignet, um an Fahrzeug-

klimaanlagen folgende Maßnahmen durch eventuell benötigte Zusatzgeräte

durchzuführen:

 Diagnose

 Kältemittelrückgewinnung

 Evakuieren

 Befüllung der Hochdruckseite

 Befüllung der Niederdruckseite

5.1 Klimaanlage anschließen

➤ Verwenden Sie die Niederdruck-Schnellkupplung (blau) (Abb. 1 6,

Seite 3), um den blauen Schlauch mit dem Niederdruck-Anschluss der

Klimaanlage zu verbinden."

➤ Verwenden Sie die Hochdruck-Schnellkupplung (rot) (Abb. 1 5,

Seite 3), um den roten Schlauch mit dem Hochdruck-Anschluss der Mon-

teurhilfe zu verbinden.

➤ Verbinden Sie den Vakuum-Anschluss (Abb. 2 7, Seite 3) mit dem

gelben, dicken Vakuumschlauch mit einer Vakuumpumpe.

➤ Schließen Sie mit dem gelben, dünnen Befüllschlauch eine externe Kälte-

mittelflasche an (Abb. 2 2, Seite 3).

5.2 Klimaanlage befüllen

➤ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Klimaanlage leer ist.

Evakuieren Sie nun die Klimaanlage wie folgt:

➤ Öffnen Sie den Regler „VAC“ (gelb) (Abb. 2 5, Seite 3), um ein Vakuum

zu erzeugen.

➤ Öffnen Sie den Regler „HIGH“ (rot) (Abb. 2 3, Seite 3).

➤ Öffnen Sie den Regler „LOW“ (blau) (Abb. 2 4, Seite 3).

➤ Starten Sie die Vakuumpumpe.

➤ Schließen Sie den Regler „VAC“ (gelb).

➤ Wenn der Evakuierungsprozess abgeschlossen ist, schalten Sie die

Pumpe aus.

➤ Prüfen Sie die Anlage auf Dichtheit.

➤ Schließen Sie den Regler „HIGH“ (rot).

➤ Schließen Sie den Regler „LOW“ (blau).

Befüllen Sie nun die Klimaanlage wie folgt:

➤ Öffnen Sie je nach Bedarf den Regler „HIGH“ (rot) oder den Regler „LOW“

(blau).

➤ Öffnen Sie den Regler „REF“ (grün) (Abb. 2 10, Seite 3), um über eine

externe Kältemittelflasche Kältemittel zu befüllen, bis die erforderliche

Menge erreicht ist.

5.3 Befüllung beenden

➤ Schließen Sie alle Ventile.

➤ Lösen Sie alle Verbindungen.

➤ Recyclen Sie das Kältemittel aus den Schläuchen.

5.4 Diagnose/Druckprüfung durchführen

➤ Schließen Sie alle Ventile.

✓ Der Druck in der Klimaanlage wird angezeigt.

5.5 Kältemittel rückgewinnen

➤ Öffnen Sie je nach Bedarf den Regler „HIGH“ (rot) oder den Regler „LOW“

(blau).

➤ Öffnen Sie den Regler „REF“ (grün) (Abb. 2 10, Seite 3), um das Kälte-

mittel mithilfe einer Absaugstation aus der Klimaanlage in eine externe

Kältemittelflasche zu füllen.

➤ Schließen Sie alle Ventile.

✓ Wenn die Klimaanlage vollständig entleert ist, ist der angezeigte Druck

0bar (0Pa).

➤ Öffnen Sie bei Bedarf die Regler erneut bis die Klimaanlage vollständig

entleert ist.

4-Way Manifold Gewährleistung

6 Gewährleistung

Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein,

wenden Sie sich bitte an die Niederlassung des Herstellers in Ihrem Land

(siehe Rückseite) oder an Ihren Fachhändler.

Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende

Unterlagen mitschicken:

 eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,

 einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.

7 Entsorgung

➤ Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden

Recycling-Müll.

Wenn Sie das Produkt endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, infor-

mieren Sie sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei

Ihrem Fachhändler über die zutreffenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.

Intended use 4-way manifold

3 Intended use

The 4-way manifold is designed for testing and filling of vehicle air

conditioners.

The 4-way manifold can only be used for air conditioners that are equipped

with a low-pressure connection, high-pressure connection or both connec-

tions.

The 4-way manifold is available in two models:

 for air conditioners with R-134a (ref. no. 8885100161)

 for air conditioners with R-1234yf (ref. no. 8885100162)

4 Technical description

The 4-way manifold is suitable for carrying out the following measures on

vehicle air conditioners by means of any additional equipment required:

 Diagnosis

 Refrigerant recovery

 Evacuation

 Filling the high-pressure side

 Filling the low-pressure side

5.1 Connecting an air conditioner

➤ Use the low-pressure quick coupling (blue) (fig. 1 6, page 3) to connect

the blue hose with the low-pressure connection of the air conditioner.

➤ Use the high-pressure quick coupling (red) (fig. 1 5, page 3) to connect

the red hose with the high-pressure connection of the manifold.

➤ Connect the vacuum connection (fig. 2 7, page 3) with the thick, yellow

vacuum hose to a vacuum pump.

➤ Connect an external refrigerant bottle using the thin, yellow filling hose

(fig. 2 2, page 3).

5.2 Filling the air conditioner

➤ Ensure that the air conditioner is empty.

Now evacuate the air conditioner as follows:

➤ Open the “VAC” knob (yellow) (fig. 2 5, page 3) to create a vacuum.

➤ Open the “HIGH” knob (red) (fig. 2 3, page 3).

➤ Open the “LOW” knob (blue) (fig. 2 4, page 3).

➤ Start the vacuum pump.

➤ Close the “VAC” knob (yellow).

➤ When the evacuation process is complete, turn off the pump.

➤ Check the system for leaks.

➤ Close the “HIGH” knob (red).

➤ Close the “LOW” knob (blue).

Now fill the air conditioner as follows:

➤ Open the “HIGH” knob (red) or the “LOW” knob (blue) as needed.

➤ Open the “REF” knob (green) (fig. 2 10, page 3) to fill refrigerant via an

external refrigerant bottle until the required amount has been reached.

5.3 Completing the filling

➤ Close all valves.

➤ Detach all connections.

➤ Recycle the refrigerant from the hoses.

5.4 Performing the diagnosis/pressure test

➤ Close all valves.

✓ The pressure in the air conditioner is displayed.

5.5 Recovering refrigerant

➤ Open the “HIGH” knob (red) or the “LOW” knob (blue) as needed.

➤ Open the “REF” knob (green) (fig. 2 10, page 3) to fill the refrigerant out

of the air conditioner into an external refrigerant bottle with the help of a

suction station.

➤ Close all valves.

✓ If the air conditioner is completely empty, the displayed pressure is 0 bar

(0 Pa).

➤ If necessary, open the knobs again until the air conditioner is completely

emptied.

The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please

contact the manufacturer's branch in your country (see back page) or your

retailer.

For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents

when you send in the device:

 A copy of the receipt with purchasing date

 A reason for the claim or description of the fault

7 Disposal

➤ Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins

wherever possible.

If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling

centre or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in

accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.

3 Usage conforme

Le collecteur 4 voies est conçu pour le test et le remplissage des systèmes

de climatisation pour véhicules.

Le collecteur 4 voies doit uniquement être utilisé sur des systèmes de clima-

tisation équipés d’un raccord basse pression, d’un raccord haute pression ou

les deux.

Le collecteur 4 voies est disponibles en deux versions :

 pour climatiseurs avec R-134a (n° d’article 8885100161)

 pour climatiseurs avec R-1234yf (n° d’article 8885100162)

4 Description technique

4.1 Raccordements

5 Utilisation du collecteur 4 voies

5.1 Raccordement du climatiseur

➤ Utilisez le couplage rapide basse pression (bleu) (fig. 1 6, page 3) pour

brancher le flexible bleu sur le raccord basse pression du climatiseur.

➤ Utilisez le couplage rapide haute pression (rouge) (fig. 1 5, page 3) pour

brancher le flexible rouge sur le raccord haute pression du climatiseur.

➤ Branchez le raccord de vide (fig. 2 7, page 3) avec le flexible de vide

jaune épais sur une pompe à vide.

➤ Raccordez une bouteille de réfrigérant externe à l’aide du flexible de rem-

plissage jaune épais (fig. 2 2, page 3).

Utilisation du collecteur 4 voies 4-Way Manifold

5.2 Remplissage du climatiseur

➤ Vérifiez que le climatiseur est bien vide.

Maintenant, purgez le climatiseur de la manière suivante :

➤ Ouvrez le bouton « VAC » (jaune) (fig. 2 5, page 3) pour créer un vide.

➤ Ouvrez le bouton « HIGH » (rouge) (fig. 2 3, page 3).

➤ Ouvrez le bouton « LOW » (bleu) (fig. 2 4, page 3).

➤ Démarrez la pompe à vide.

➤ Fermez le bouton « VAC » (jaune).

➤ Au terme de la purge, arrêtez la pompe.

➤ Vérifiez que le système est étanche.

➤ Fermez le bouton « HIGH » (rouge).

➤ Fermez le bouton « LOW » (bleu).

Maintenant, remplissez le climatiseur de la manière suivante :

➤ Ouvrez le bouton « HIGH » (rouge) ou le bouton « LOW » (bleu) selon les

besoins.

➤ Ouvrez le bouton « REF » (vert) (fig. 2 10, page 3) pour faire le plein de

réfrigérant via une bouteille de réfrigérant externe jusqu’à ce que la quan-

tité requise soit atteinte.

5.3 Terminer le remplissage

➤ Fermez toutes les vannes.

➤ Débranchez tous les raccords.

➤ Recyclez le réfrigérant qui se trouve dans les flexibles.

5.4 Exécution du diagnostic/test de pression

➤ Fermez toutes les vannes.

✓ La pression dans le climatiseur est affichée.
