Introduction

We congratulate you on the purchase of

your new device. You have chosen a

high quality product. Please make your-

self familiar with the heated shawl / wrap before

preparing it for use or using it for the ﬁrst time.

Please read the following operating instructions

and the important safety instructions carefully. Use

the heated shawl / wrap only as described and for

the stated areas of use. Keep these instructions in a

safe place. If you pass the heated shawl / wrap

pad on to anyone else, please ensure that you also

pass on all the documentation.

Proper use

This heated shawl / wrap is designed to warm the

human body and may not be used as an underlay.

This heated shawl / wrap is not intended for use in

or severed, do not touch the mains power ca-

socket immediately. Damaged or tangled

mains power cables increase the risk of electric

Do not insert needles or pointed

objects into the heated shawl / wrap.

There is a risk of electric shock.

Ask your doctor and, if relevant, the

manufacturer of your heart pace-

maker before you use the heated

shawl / wrap. The electric and magnetic ﬁelds

generated by this heated shawl / wrap may un-

der certain circumstances interfere with the op-

eration of cardiac pacemakers. However, the

levels are far below the permissible limits: de-

tails of these levels can be found in the “Techni-

cal data” chapter.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

AND RISK OF INJURY! Before every use,

check the heated shawl / wrap carefully for

signs of wear and / or damage. If you ﬁnd

such signs of damage, if the cables are dam-

aged or if the heated shawl / wrap has not

been used properly, it must be returned to the

manufacturer or to a dealer before it is used

again.

Improper use, wear or damage can re-

sult in considerable dangers for the user. There

is a danger of electric shock and injury.

RISK OF INJURY! Children or

persons lacking knowledge or expe-

rience in handling the heated

shawl / wrap or have limited physical, sensory

or mental abilities, must not use the heated

shawl / wrap without supervision or instruction

by a person responsible for their safety. Children

must be supervised at all times to prevent them

from playing with the heated shawl / wrap. Risk

of injury!

RISK OF INJURY! Do not use this

heated shawl / wrap for helpless

persons, infants or persons who are

insensitive to heat (e.g. diabetics, people with

disease-related changes to the skin or scarred

skin in the area of use, or after taking pain-re-

lieving medication or consuming alcohol). Risk

shawl / wrap on any part of the

body that is inﬂamed, injured or

swollen. Seek medical advice before using the

heated shawl / wrap if in doubt. Such inﬂam-

mation, injuries and / or swelling may other-

wise worsen.

CAUTION! Repairs must only be

carried out by specially trained per-

sonnel or at a repair shop author-

ised by the manufacturer, since special tools

are necessary. Improper repairs may result in

considerable dangers for the user.

CAUTION! If the power supply

cord of this heated shawl / wrap is

damaged, it has to be replaced by

the manufacturer, a repair shop approved by

the manufacture or a similarly qualiﬁed person

in order to avoid any danger. Risk of injury!

Avoid damage to the heated

shawl / wrap!

Please ensure that you:

· Only connect the heated shawl / wrap to the

voltage indicated on the label,

· only use the heated shawl / wrap in conjunc-

tion with the control

indicated on the

heated shawl / wrap (label),

do not switch the heated shawl /

wrap on if it is folded or bunched

up,

do not squeeze or jam the heated shawl / wrap,

· do not cause any sharp creases in the

heated shawl / wrap,

· do not place any objects, e.g. suitcase or

washing basket, on the heated shawl /

wrap when it is switched on,

· do not place any source of heat e.g. a hot

water bottle or similar items onto the warp

when it is switched on.

Ignoring this advice may damage the heated

shawl / wrap.

Do not cover the control

and do not place

it on the heated shawl / wrap when the heated

shawl / wrap is in operation. The electronic

components in the control

of the heated

shawl / wrap cause the control

to heat up

slightly during operation.

Do not pull, twist or crease the cables. Ignor-

ing this advice may damage the heated

shawl / wrap.

Safety system

Note: the heated shawl / wrap is equipped with a

safety system. The electronic sensor technology

prevents the entire surface of the heated shawl /

wrap from overheating by automatically switching

oﬀ in the event of a fault.

If the safety system switches the heated shawl /

wrap oﬀ automatically as a result of a fault, the

function display on the control

will no longer

light up, even when heated shawl / wrap is

switched on.

Please note that, for safety reasons, the heated

shawl / wrap must not be used after a fault and

must be returned to the service address

indicated.

Preparing the product for use

Note: The heated shawl / wrap may smell of plas-

tic the ﬁrst time you use it, but this will disappear af-

ter a short period of time.

Lay the heated shawl / wrap over your shoul-

ders in such a way that the dark side is facing

your body.

If necessary, fasten the press studs

on the

front side (ﬁg. B). There are additional press

studs

in the arm region (ﬁg. B).

To begin, ﬁrst connect the control

to the

warp with the plug-in connector

(see ﬁg. C).

Switching on / oﬀ /

Selecting the temperature

Switching on:

Set Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 on the control

switch the heated shawl / wrap on.

Note: The function indicator

illuminates

after the heated shawl / wrap is switched on.

Switching off:

Set Level 0 on the control

to switch the

heated shawl / wrap oﬀ.

Note: The function indicator

ceases to

illuminate.

Selecting the temperature:

Just before using the heated shawl / wrap, set it

to the highest temperature setting (level 6). This

will cause the heated shawl / wrap to warm up

quickly.

If you wish to leave the heated shawl / wrap

on for several hours, set the lowest temperature

(level 1).

Note: The heated shawl / wrap switches itself oﬀ

automatically after about 180 minutes. The function

display on the control

then starts ﬂashing.

Then select the setting 0 and after about 5 sec-

onds, reset the heated shawl / wrap to the de-

sired temperature setting to switch it on again.

Switch the heated shawl / wrap oﬀ (setting 0)

and pull the mains plug out of the mains socket

if the heated shawl / wrap is not to be used af-

ter it has switched itself oﬀ automatically.

Cleaning and Care

Use a dry, non-ﬂuﬃng cloth for cleaning and

care of the heated shawl / wrap and control

You can dampen the cloth and use a little mild

liquid detergent to remove more stubborn dirt

from the heated shawl / wrap.

The heated shawl / wrap is machine-

washable.

Set the washing machine

at an extra washing cycle for deli-

cate items at 30 °C.

For ecological reasons, please only wash the

heated shawl / wrap together with other tex-

tiles. Use a mild laundry detergent according

to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Please note that frequent washing will cause

wear to the heated shawl / wrap. It should

therefore be washed no more than max. 5

times in a washing machine throughout its

useful life.

Disposal

The packaging and ancillary packing

consist of environmentally friendly mate-

rials. They can be disposed of at your

local recycling facility.

Do not dispose of electrical

devices with the household

rubbish!

In accordance with European Directive 2002 / 96 / EC

(covering waste electrical and electronic equipment)

and its transposition into national legislation, worn

out electrical devices must be collected separately

and taken for environmentally compatible recycling.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for

more details of how to dispose of your worn out

heated shawl / wrap.

Warranty / Service centre

We provide a 3 year guaranty starting from the day

of purchase for any material and factory faults of

the heated shawl / wrap.

The warranty does not cover:

· Damage resulting from improper use.

· Wear parts.

· Defects that were known to the customer at the

time of purchase.

· Damage for which the customer was responsible.

This warranty does not aﬀect the customer‘s legal

rights.

The customer must provide proof of purchase in order

for any warranty claims within the warranty period

to be honoured. Claims under the warranty within a

period of 3 years from the date of purchase are

pelerínou. Za týmto účelom si pozorne prečítajte

nasledujúci návod na obsluhu a dôležité bezpeč-

nostné upozornenia. Vyhrievaciu pelerínu použí-

vajte len v súlade s opisom a v uvedených

rozsahoch použitia. Tento návod si dôkladne

uschovajte. Ak vyhrievaciu pelerínu odovzdávate

tretím osobám, priložte k nej aj všetky podklady.

Sieťový prípojný kábel nepoužívajte

v rozpore s jeho určením, napr. na

prenášanie vyhrievacej peleríny,

zavesenie alebo na vytiahnutie zástrčky zo

zásuvky. Zabráňte kontaktu sieťového prípojného

kábla s vysokými teplotami, olejom, ostrými

hranami. Ak sa sieťový prípojný kábel poškodí

alebo pretrhne, nedotýkajte sa ho, ale ihneď

vytiahnite sieťovú zástrčku. Poškodené alebo

zamotané sieťové prípojné káble zvyšujú riziko

zásahu elektrickým prúdom.

NEBEZPEČENSTVO ZÁSAHU

ELEKTRICKÝM PRÚDOM!

Do vyhrievacej peleríny nestrkajte

ihly ani ostré predmety. Hrozí nebezpečenstvo

zásahu elektrickým prúdom.

Skôr ako použijete vyhrievaciu pele-

rínu, informujte sa u svojho lekára a

u výrobcu svojho kardiostimulátora.

Elektrické a magnetická polia šíriace sa z tejto

elektrickej vyhrievacej peleríny môžu za určitých

okolností rušiť funkciu vášho kardiostimulátora.

Sú však hlboko pod hraničnými hodnotami: in-

formácie o týchto hodnotách nájdete v kapitole

„Technické údaje“.

NEBEZPEČENSTVO ZÁ-

SAHU EL. PRÚDOM A NEBEZPEČEN-

STVO PORANENIA! Pred každým použitím

vyhrievaciu pelerínu dôkladne skontrolujte, či

nevykazuje známky opotrebovania a / alebo

poškodenia. Ak sú prítomné takéto príznaky,

ak je poškodený sieťový prípojný kábel alebo

ak sa vyhrievacia pelerína používala nesprávne,

nezaspali, kým je vyhrievacia pele-

rína v prevádzke. Príliš dlhé použitie

môže viesť k popáleniu pokožky.

POZOR! Vyhrievaciu pelerínu

neprikladajte na časti tela, ktoré sú

zapálené, poranené alebo opuch-

nuté. V prípade pochybností sa pred použitím

poraďte s lekárom. Inak sa môžu zápaly, pora-

nenia a / alebo opuchy zhoršiť.

POZOR! Opravy smú vykonávať

len odborníci alebo opravárenský

servis uznaný výrobcom, pretože si

vyžadujú špeciálne náradie. V dôsledku neod-

borných opráv môžu vzniknúť závažné nebez-

Zabráňte poškodeniu

vyhrievacej peleríny!

Dbajte na to, aby ste:

· vyhrievaciu pelerínu pripojili len k napätiu

uvedenému na etikete,

· vyhrievaciu pelerínu používali len spolu s

ovládacou jednotkou

uvedenou na

vyhrievacej peleríne (etikete),

vyhrievaciu pelerínu nezapínali v

zhrnutom alebo zosunutom stave,

· vyhrievaciu pelerínu neprivreli,

· vyhrievaciu pelerínu silno nezalomili,

· na vyhrievaciu pelerínu nekládli

žiadne predmety, napr. kufor alebo kôš na

bielizeň, kým je zapnutá,

· na vyhrievaciu pelerínu nekládli žiadne

zdroje tepla, napr. termofor a pod., kým je

zapnutá.

V opačnom prípade sa môže vyhrievacia

pelerína poškodiť.

Ovládaciu jednotku

nezakrývajte a

neklaďte ju na vyhrievaciu pelerínu, keď je v

prevádzke. Elektronické súčiastky v ovládacej

používaní k miernemu zahrievaniu ovládacej

jednotky

Dbajte na to, aby ste neťahali, netočili alebo

ostro neohýbali sieťové prípojné vedenie. V

opačnom prípade sa môže vyhrievacia pele-

rína poškodiť.

Bezpečnostný systém

Upozornenie: vyhrievacia pelerína je vybavená

bezpečnostným systémom. Jeho elektronická sen-

zorová technika zabraňuje prehriatiu vyhrievacej

peleríny na jej celej ploche vďaka automatickému

vypnutiu v prípade poruchy.

Ak v dôsledku poruchy dôjde k automatickému

vypnutiu bezpečnostným systémom, funkčný displej

na ovládacej jednotke

sa nerozsvieti ani po

zapnutí vyhrievacej peleríny.

Dbajte na to, aby sa vyhrievacia pelerína po

poruche z bezpečnostných dôvodov ďalej

nemohla nepoužívať a zašlite ju na uvedenú

adresu servisu.

Uvedenie do prevádzky

Upozornenie: pri prvom použití môže u vyhrie-

vacej peleríny vzniknúť zápach po umelej hmote,

ktorý však po krátkom čase vyprchá.

Vyhrievaciu pelerínu položte cez plecia tak,

aby tmavá strana priliehala k telu.

V prípade potreby zapnite patentky

prednej strane (obr. B). Dodatočné patentky

sa nachádzajú v oblasti ramien (obr. B).

Pri uvádzaní do prevádzky najskôr spojte ovlá-

daciu jednotku

s vyhrievacou pelerínou

zapojením zasúvacej vidlice

(pozri obr. C).

Zapnutie / vypnutie /

Zapnutie:

Na ovládacej jednotke

nastavte stupeň

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 alebo 6 pre zapnutie vyhrievacej

peleríny.

Upozornenie: po zapnutí vyhrievacej

Vypnutie:

Na ovládacej jednotke

nastavte stupeň 0

pre vypnutie vyhrievacej peleríny.

Upozornenie: funkčný displej

Voľba teploty:

Krátko pred použitím nastavte najvyšší teplotný

stupeň (stupeň 6). Tak dosiahnete rýchle

zahriatie.

Pri používaní v trvaní niekoľkých hodín

nastavte najnižší teplotný stupeň (stupeň 1).

180 minútach automaticky vypne. Funkčný displej

Najskôr zvoľte polohu 0 a cca po 5 sekundách

požadovaný teplotný stupeň pre opätovné

zapnutie vyhrievacej peleríny.

Ak vyhrievaciu pelerínu po časovom odpojení

ďalej nepoužívate, vypnite ju (stupeň 0) alebo

vytiahnite sieťovú zástrčku zo zásuvky.

Práčku nastavte na extra

šetriaci program pri 30 °C.

Vyhrievaciu pelerínu perte z ekologických

dôvodov len spolu s inými textíliami. Použite

jemný prací prostriedok a nadávkujte ho podľa

údajov výrobcu.

Nezabúdajte, že vyhrievacia pelerína sa v

dôsledku príliš častého prania opotrebúva.

Vyhrievacia pelerína by sa preto mala počas

celej životnosti prať v automatickej práčke

maximálne 5krát.

ŠKÔD! Nezabúdajte, že vyhrieva-

cia pelerína sa nesmie chemicky

čistiť, bieliť, žmýkať, sušiť v sušičke bielizne,

· na nedostatky, o ktorých bol zákazník informo-

vaný pri kúpe,

· na škody zavinené zákazníkom.

Zákonný nárok zákazníka na záruku nie je touto

zárukou nijako ovplyvnený.

Pri uplatnení záruky v prípade poškodenia v záruč-

nej lehote je zákazník povinný predložiť doklad o

kúpe. Záruku je potrebné uplatniť
