Einleitung

Damit Sie an Ihrem neuen Gerät möglichst lange Freude

haben, bitten wir Sie, die Betriebsanweisung und die

beiliegenden Sicherheitshinweise vor Ingebrauchnahme

sorgfältig durchzulesen. Ferner wird empfohlen, die

Gebrauchsanweisung für den Fall aufzubewahren, dass

Sie sich die Funktionen des Artikels später nochmals ins

Gedächtnis rufen möchten.

Im Rahmen ständiger Produktweiterentwicklung

behalten wir uns vor zur Verbesserung technische

Änderungen umzusetzen. Abbildungen können daher

abweichen.

Bei diesem Dokument handelt es sich um die

Originalbetriebsanweisung.

Lieferumfang

Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Transportverpackung und

prüfen Sie die Vollständigkeit und das Vorhandensein

folgender Teile:

 Befestigungsmaterial

Sollten Teile des Lieferumfangs fehlen oder beschädigt

sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Freischneider zur Pflege und Schnitt von natürlichen

Grünflächen sowie leichtem Gestrüpp.

Es dürfen mit dieser Maschine keine anderen Arbeiten

verrichtet werden, als die Arbeiten, für die die Maschine

gebaut ist und die in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben

werden.

Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht

bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden

oder Verletzungen haftet der Hersteller nicht. Bitte

beachten Sie das dieses Gerät bestimmungsgemäß nicht

für den gewerblichen Einsatz konstruiert sind.

Anforderungen an den Bediener

Der Bediener muss vor Gebrauch des Gerätes

aufmerksam die Bedienungsanleitung gelesen haben.

Qualifikation

Außer einer ausführlichen Einweisung durch eine

sachkundige Person ist keine spezielle Qualifikation für

den Gebrauch des Gerätes notwendig.

Mindestalter

Das Gerät darf nur von Personen betrieben werden, die

das 18. Lebensjahr vollendet haben. Eine Ausnahme stellt

die Benutzung als Jugendlicher dar, wenn die Benutzung

im Zuge einer Berufsausbildung zur Erreichung der

Fertigkeit unter Aufsicht eines Ausbilders erfolgt.

Schulung

Die Benutzung des Gerätes bedarf lediglich einer

entsprechenden Unterweisung. Eine spezielle Schulung ist

nicht notwendig.

Vor Inbetriebnahme

Montage

Verbinden Sie die beiden Führungsrohre mittels des Alu-

Druckguss-Verschlusses. Achten Sie dabei darauf dass

die Antriebswelle im Inneren ineinander gleitet.

Führen Sie die beiden Griffstücke (Abb. E) in den

Führungsholm und fixieren Sie diese mit den Schrauben

und der Unterlegscheiben (Abb. F).

Schieben Sie den Schutz auf den unteren Führungsholm

(Abb. G) und schrauben Sie diesen mittels der Schrauben,

Sprengring, Unterlegscheibe und Mutter fest.

Montieren Sie je nach Arbeitseinsatz das Wirbel-/

Sternblatt oder die Fadenspule. (Abb. H-N)

1. Lösen Sie die Mutter am Schneidkopf mittels eines

Gabelschlüssels und Innensechskanntschlüssel oder

anderem geeigneten Werkzeug. Entfernen dann die

Schutzhaube und die Distanzscheibe.

2. Bringen Sie nun das benötigte Blatt oder Fadenspule

auf der Schraube an.

3. Bei Verwendung des Wirbel- oder Sternblattes

müssen Distanzscheibe, Schutzhaube und Mutter

wieder angebracht werden.

Bei dem Betrieb mit der Fadenspule ist dies nicht

nötig.

Tragen Sie bei der Messermontage Schutzhandschuhe.

Achten Sie bitte auf festen Sitz der montierten

Teile.

Haken Sie das Tragegurtsystem in die Befestigungsöse

am Führungsholm (Abb. O) ein und stellen das

Tragegurtsystem so ein das der Schneidekopf parallel zum

Boden verläuft. Um die optimale Länge festzustellen

machen Sie anschließend einige Schwingbewegungen

ohne den Motor zu starten.

Prüfen Wie das Gerät vor jeder Inbetriebnahme

auf:

 Dichtheit des Treibstoffsystems

 Einwandfreien Zustand der Schutzeinrichtungen und

der Schneidvorrichtungen

 Fester sitz sämtlicher Verschraubungen

Treibstoff und Öl

Benutzen sie ein 2-Taktgemisch 1:40.

(Verwenden Sie kein Benzingemisch, das mehr als

30 Tage aufbewahrt wurde bei E10).

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Lesen Sie diese Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig. Machen

Sie sich mit den Bedienelementen und dem richtigen

Gebrauch des Gerätes vertraut. Bewahren Sie die

Betriebsanleitung für eine spätere Verwendung sicher auf.

Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich in Ordnung!

Unordnung am Arbeitsplatz kann Unfälle zur Folge haben.

Berücksichtigen Sie die Umgebungseinflüsse

Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht dem Regen aus.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in feuchter oder nasser

Umgebung. Sorgen Sie für gute Beleuchtung.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren

Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen.

Halten Sie andere Personen fern!

Lassen Sie andere Personen, insbesondere Kinder, nicht

in den Arbeitsbereich. Halten Sie sie vom unmittelbaren

Einsatzort fern.

Korrekte Aufbewahrung!

Unbenutzte Geräte sollten an einem trockenen,

verschlossen Ort und außerhalb der Reichweite von

Kindern aufbewahrt werden.

Überlasten Sie Ihr Gerät nicht!

Arbeiten Sie im angegebenen Leistungsbereich.

Benutzen Sie das richtige Gerät!

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht für Zwecke, für die sie nicht

bestimmt sind.

Seien Sie aufmerksam!

Achten Sie darauf, was Sie tun. Gehen Sie mit Vernunft an

die Arbeit. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie müde

sind.

WARNUNG!

Der Gebrauch von anderem Zubehör kann eine

Verletzungsgefahr für Sie bedeuten.

Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät durch eine Fachkraft reparieren!

Gerätespezifische Sicherheitshinweise

Rotierendes Messer

Arbeiten/Einstellungen am Gerät nur bei abgeschaltetem

Motor und stillstehendem Schneidmesser/Spule

vornehmen.

Vor dem Mähen

Prüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung (Sichtprüfung) die

Schneidwerkzeuge und deren Befestigungsmittel auf

Beschädigungen und festen Sitz sowie die

Leichtgängigkeit aller Schalter und den sicheren Sitz des

Zündkerzensteckers.

Überprüfen Sie das zu bearbeitende Gelände auf

Gegenstände die vom Freischneider erfasst und

weggeschleudert werden können und entfernen Sie diese.

(Steine, Äste etc.)

Gerät niemals ohne Benutzung des Tragegurtsystems

betreiben.

Bevor Sie den Freischneider starten, vergewissern Sie

sich, dass die beweglichen Teile der Maschine frei laufen

können.

Während dem Mähen

Tragen Sie eine Schutzbrille/Schutzschild, Helm

und einen Gehörschutz sowie Handschuhe beim Arbeiten

mit dem Freischneider.

Mähen Sie nur mit Sicherheitsschuhe mit Stahlkappen/-

sohlen und langer Hose, niemals barfuss oder in

Sandalen.

Achten Sie auf den angemessenen Abstand von

Personen, Kindern und Lebewesen.

Schalten Sie den Motor nur ein, wenn sich Ihre Füße in

sicherem Abstand zu dem Schneidmesser befinden.

Halten Sie das Gerät stets an beiden Griffen fest, so ist

auch der vorgegebenen Sicherheitsabstand zum

Schneidebereich gewährleistet.

Achten Sie auf einen sicheren Stand.

Greifen Sie niemals in das laufende Schneidmesser oder

die Fadenspule.

Nach dem Ausschalten dreht sich das Messer noch für

einige Sekunden. Berühren Sie niemals das laufende

Messer.

Mähen Sie nicht in nassem Gras.

Eine längere Benutzung des Motorgerätes kann zu

vibrationsbedingten Durchblutungsstörungen der Hände

führen. Dies kann durch geeignete Handschuhe und

regelmäßige Pausen verhindert werden.

Achten Sie darauf das die Lüftungsschlitze des Motors

stets frei von Schmutz und Mährückständen sind.

Beim Mähen können Steine oder andere Teile

weggeschleudert werden, die zu schweren Verletzungen

führen können.

Keine Metallischen Schneidspulen verwenden!

Beachten Sie dass die Maschine nach loslassen

des Gashebels noch nach läuft, und Sie in der Arbeits-

position bleiben bis die Maschine still steht.

Verhalten im Notfall

Leiten Sie die der Verletzung entsprechend notwendigen

Erste Hilfe Maßnahmen ein und fordern Sie schnellst

möglich qualifizierte ärztliche Hilfe an.

Bewahren Sie den Verletzten vor weiteren Schädigungen

und stellen Sie diesen ruhig.

Für einen eventuell eintretenden Unfall sollte immer

ein Verbandskasten nach DIN 13164 am Arbeitsplatz

griffbereit vorhanden sein. Dem Verbandskasten

entnommenes Material ist sofort wieder aufzufüllen.

Wenn Sie Hilfe anfordern,

machen Sie folgende Angaben:

1. Ort des Unfalls

2. Art des Unfalls

3. Zahl der Verletzten

4. Art der Verletzungen

Bedienung

Beachten Sie bitte die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen zur

Lärmschutzverordnung, die örtlich unterschiedlich sein

können.

Achtung! An der Unterseite der Schutzhaube befindet

sich ein Messer für die automatische

Fadenlängenregulierung (Abb. A/21)

Kalten Motor starten

Füllen Sie den Tank mit einer angemessenen Menge

2-Taktgemisch (siehe Mischungstabelle).

1. Gerät auf eine harte, ebene Fläche stellen.

2. Choke-Hebel (Abb. C/13) auf “ON“ stellen.

3. Kraftstoffpumpe (Primer Abb. P) 3 x drücken.

4. Ein- Ausschalter auf „I“ stellen (Abb. Q/1)

5. Entriegelungshebel (Abb. Q/3) und Gashebel

(Abb.Q/4) (Halbgas) drücken die Halbgasarretierung

(Abb. Q/2) in dieser Stellung eindrücken.

6. Halten Sie das Gerät nun gut fest bzw. drücken es

auf den Boden, mit der anderen Hand starten Sie die

Maschine durch kontrolliertes anziehen der

Startleine/Startseilzuges (Abb. B/15). Wieder holen

Sie den Vorgang bis das Gerät anspringt. (Abb. R)

Achtung! Lassen Sie die Startleine nicht

zurückschleudern – dies kann zu Beschädigungen

führen.

Achtung! Das Schneidwerkzeug beginnt bei

startendem Motor sich zu drehen.

7. Sobald das Gerät läuft kann der Choke wieder

zurückgestellt werden „OFF“.

8. Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.

Sollte der Motor nicht starten Wiederholen Sie die Schritte

1-7. Springt der Motor auch nach mehreren Versuchen

nicht an, lesen Sie den Abschnitt Fehlerbehebung.

Warmen Motor Starten

(das Gerät stand für nicht mehr als 15-20 Min. still)

1. Das Gerät auf harte, ebene Fläche stellen.

2. Ein- Ausschalter auf „I“ stellen (Abb. Q/1)

3. Entriegelungshebel (Abb. Q/3) und Gashebel

(Abb.Q/4) (Halbgas) drücken die Halbgasarretierung

(Abb. Q/2) in dieser Stellung eindrücken.

4. Halten Sie das Gerät nun gut fest bzw. drücken es

auf den Boden, mit der anderen Hand starten Sie die

Maschine durch kontrolliertes anziehen der

Startleine/Startseilzuges (Abb. B/15). Wieder holen

Sie den Vorgang bis das Gerät anspringt. (Abb. R)

Achtung! Lassen Sie die Startleine nicht

zurückschleudern – dies kann zu Beschädigungen

führen.

Falls die Maschine nach 6 Zügen nicht an springt gehen

Sie bitte wie in dem Punkt kalten Motor starten vor.

Motor abstellen

Not-Aus-Schrittfolge:

Falls es notwendig ist die Maschine sofort anzuhalten,

stellen Sie hierzu den Ein-/Ausschalter auf „0“.

Normale Abschaltfolge:

Lassen Sie den Gashebel los und warten Sie bis der Motor

in Leerlaufgeschwindigkeit übergegangen ist. Stellen Sie

dann den Ein-/Ausschalter auf „0“.

Training

Lesen Sie die Betriebs- und Wartungsanleitung sorgfältig

durch. Machen Sie sich gründlich mit den

Steuerungseinrichtungen und dem ordnungsgemäßen

Gebrauch des Gerätes vertraut. Sie müssen wissen, wie

das Gerät arbeitet, und wie die Steuerungseinrichtungen

schnell ausgeschaltet werden können.

Lassen Sie niemals Kinder mit dem Gerät arbeiten.

Lassen Sie niemals Erwachsene ohne ordnungsgemäße

Einweisung mit dem Gerät arbeiten.

Halten Sie den Arbeitsbereich frei von sämtlichen

Personen, insbesondere kleinen Kindern, und Haustieren.

Seien Sie vorsichtig, um zu vermeiden, dass Sie

ausrutschen oder hinfallen.

Gewährleistung

Die Gewährleistung erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf

Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehler

zurückzuführen sind. Bei Geltendmachung eines Mangels

im Sinne der Gewährleistung ist der original Kaufbeleg mit

Verkaufdatum beizufügen. Von der Gewährleistung

ausgeschlossen sind unsachgemäße Anwendungen, wie

z. B. Überlastung des Gerätes, Gewaltanwendung,

Beschädigungen durch Fremdeinwirkung oder durch

Fremdkörper. Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchs- und

Aufbauanleitung und normaler Verschleiß sind ebenfalls

von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

Entsorgung

Die Entsorgungshinweise ergeben sich aus den

Piktogrammen die auf dem Gerät bzw. der Verpackung

aufgebracht sind. Eine Beschreibung der einzelnen

Bedeutungen finden Sie im Kapitel „Kennzeichnung“.

Entsorgung der Transportverpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden.

Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind in der Regel nach

umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen

Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recycelbar.

Das Rückführen der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf

spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.

Verpackungsteile (z.B. Folien, Styropor®) können für

Wartung

Schalten Sie das Gerät vor Wartungs- und

Reinigungsarbeiten immer ab und warten Sie

bis das Gerät vollends stillsteht. Ziehen Sie

den Zündkerzenstecker.

Wartungsarbeiten, die in diesem Handbuch nicht

ausdrücklich beschrieben sind, müssen von Fachpersonal

ausgeführt werden, da Gefahrensituationen entstehen

können, auf die der Bediener nicht vorbereitet ist.

Austausch von Ersatzteilen dürfen ausschließlich von

Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.

Reinigung

Reinigen nach jeder Benutzung den Freischneider

entweder mit einem sauberen Tuch oder blasen Sie es mit

Druckluft bei niedrigem Druck aus.

Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungs- oder Lösungsmittel,

diese können die Kunststoffteile des Gerätes angreifen.

Lagerung im Winter

 Nehmen Sie eine gründliche Reinigung des Gerätes

vor.

 Lagern Sie das Gerät in einem trockenen Raum.

 Führen Sie alle allgemeinen Wartungsarbeiten durch,

welche im Abschnitt Wartung beschrieben sind.

 Lassen Sie den Treibstoff aus dem Tank ab.

 Nachdem der Treibstoff abgelassen ist, starten Sie

die Maschine.

 Lassen Sie die Maschine im Leerlauf weiterlaufen bis

sie stoppt. Das reinigt den Vergaser vom restlichen

Treibstoff.

 Lassen Sie die Maschine abkühlen.

 Entfernen Sie die Zündkerze.

 Füllen Sie eine Teelöffel große Menge 2-Takt-Motoröl

in die Feuerungskammer. Ziehen Sie einige male

vorsichtig die Anlasserleine heraus, um die inneren

Bauteile mit dem Öl zu benetzen. Setzen Sie die

Zündkerze wieder ein.

 Säubern Sie das äußere Gehäuse der Maschine.

 Bewahren Sie die Maschine an einem kalten,

trockenen Platz außerhalb der Reichweite von

Zündquellen und brennbaren Substanzen auf.

 Verpacken Sie das Messerblatt gut um

Schnittverletzungen vorzubeugen.

Wiederinbetriebnahme

Entfernen Sie die Zündkerze.

Ziehen Sie die Starterleine mehrmals heraus um die

Feuerungskammer von Ölrückständen zu reinigen.

Säubern Sie die Zündkerzenkontakte oder setzen Sie eine

neue Zündkerze ein.

Füllen Sie den Tank. Siehe Abschnitt Treibstoff und Öl.

Starten Sie den Motors wie unter Bedienung „Kalten Motor

starten“.

Wartung des Luftfilters

Verschmutzte Luftfilter verringern die Motorleistung durch

zu geringe Luftzufuhr zum Vergaser.

Regelmäßige Kontrolle ist daher unerlässlich. Der Luftfilter

sollte alle 25 Betriebsstunden kontrolliert werden und bei

Bedarf gereinigt werden. Bei sehr staubiger Luft ist der

Luftfilter häufiger zu überprüfen.

1. Entfernen Sie den Luftfilterdeckel

2. Entnehmen Sie das Filterelement

3. Reinigen Sie das Filterelement durch ausklopfen

oder ausblasen.

4. Der Zusammenbau erfolgt in umgekehrter

Reihenfolge.

Luftfilter nie mit Benzin oder brennbaren Lösungsmitteln

reinigen.

Wartung der Zündkerze

Zündkerzenfunkenstecker = 0,6 mm

Ziehen Sie die Zündkerze mit 12 bis 15 Nm an.

Überprüfen Sie die Zündkerze erstmals nach 10

Betriebsstunden auf Verschmutzungen und reinigen Sie

diese gegebenenfalls mit einer Kupferdrahtbürste. Danach

die Zündkerze alle 50 Betriebsstunden warten.

1. Ziehen Sie den Zündkerzenstecker mit einer

Drehbewegung ab.

2. Enfernen Sie die Zündkerze mit einem

Zündkerzenschlüssel

3. Der Zusammenbau erfolgt in umgekehrter

Reihenfolge.

Wartung der Messer

Wirbel-, Sternblatt sowie das Messer zur Fadenregulierung

gegebenenfalls Nachschleifen oder durch ein Neues

ersetzen.

Fehlersuche

Die Tabelle zeigt mögliche Fehler, deren mögliche

Ursache und Möglichkeiten zur Abhilfe. Sollten Sie das

Problem trotzdem nicht beseitigen können, ziehen Sie eine

Fachkraft zu Rate.

Operator requirements

The operator must carefully read the Operating

Instructions before using the appliance.

Qualification

No special qualification is necessary for using the

appliance apart from detailed instruction by an expert.

Minimum age

The appliance can only be operated by persons over 18

years of age. An exception includes youngsters operating

the appliance within their professional education to

achieve necessary skills under trainer's supervision.

Training

Using the appliance only requires appropriate instructions

by a professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No

special training necessary.

Before putting the appliance into operation

Assembly

Connect both parts of the post with an aluminium die cast

cap. In doing so, make sure the drive shaft slides in inside.

Insert both parts of the handle (pic. E) in the post and fix

them using bolts and washers (pic. F).

Insert the protection cover in the bottom post (pic. G) and

screw it using bolts, expander ring, washer and a nut.

Depending on the type of work, fit the rotational/star knife

or the spool of string (pic. H-N).

1. Use the fork wrench and socket-screw key or any

other suitable tool to loosen the nut on the cutting

head. Then, remove the protection cover and

distance disc.

2. Now fit the necessary knife or string head to the bolt.

3. When the rotational or star knife is used, the distance

disc, protection cover and nut must be refitted.

It is not necessary for operation with the spool of

string.

Protective gloves to be worn when fitting the knife.

Please make sure the assembled parts are firmly

tightened.

Hook the shoulder strap system to the eye on the post

(pic. O) and adjust it in a way the cutting head is in parallel

with the ground. To adjust the optimum length, move the

trimmer sideways several times without starting the

engine.

Before putting the appliance into operation, check

it for the following:

 Fuel system tightness

 Perfect condition of the protection and cutting

equipment

 Firm tightening of all the screwing

Rotating knife

Works on/adjustment of the appliance to be performed

when the engine is switched off and cutting knife/string in

idle state only.

Before cutting

Every time the appliance is to be used, check (visually) the

cutting tools and the means of their fastening for any

damage and if tightened properly and whether ease of

operation of all switches and safe socket plug fitting are

provided.

Check the ground where the trimmer is to be used for any

items that may get caught and thrown away by the trimmer

and remove such items (stones, branches, etc.).

Never use the appliance without the shoulder strap

system.

Before starting the trimmer, make sure the rotating parts of

the appliance can rotate freely.

When cutting

Wear protective glasses/screen, helmet and hearing

protection and gloves when working with the trimmer.

Cutting to take place only with safety shoes with steel toe

cap/sole and long trousers. Never cut when barefooted or

in sandals.

Provide adequate distance from persons, children

and animals.

Start the engine only after your feet are in a safe distance

from the cutting knife.

Hold the appliance by both handles at all times to

guarantee the specified safe distance from the cutting

area.

Make sure your posture is safe.

Never touch inside the rotating cutting knife or spool of

string.

After switching the appliance off, the knife keeps rotating

for a few seconds. Never touch the knife when running.

Do not cut wet grass.

When the appliance is used for a long time, it may lead to

problems with blood circulation in hands as a result of

vibrations. This may be avoided by wearing appropriate

gloves and taking regular breaks.

Make sure the engine ventilation slots are always clean

and with no grass remains.

Stones or other items may be thrown away when

cutting and cause serious injuries.

Do not use metal spools!

Please be sure to know that the appliance still runs

down after releasing the throttle lever - remain in the

working position until the appliance stops.

Behaviour in case of emergency

Provide necessary first aid treatment corresponding to the

injury nature and seek qualified medical help as soon as

possible. Protect the injured person from other injuries and

calm him/her down.

First aid kit must always be available in the place of

your work in case of accident in accordance with DIN

13164. Material taken out of the first aid kit needs to be

supplemented right away.

If help is needed, please provide the following details:

Operating

Please follow the statutory regulations regarding the

protection against noise provisions that may differ in

individual locations.

Caution! The automatic string cut-off knife (pic. A/21)

is located underneath the protection cover.

Cold engine starting

Add adequate amount of mixture for 2-stroke (see the

mixing ratio table).

1. Put the appliance on a hard and level surface.

2. Put the choke lever (pic. C/13) to the “ON“

position.

3. Press the fuel pump (primary pump pic. P) three

times.

4. Put On/Off to the “I“ position (pic. Q/1).

5. The release lever (pic. Q/3) and hand throttle

(pic.Q/4) (half throttle) presses the half throttle lock

(pic. Q/2) to that position.

6. Now hold the appliance firmly or, more precisely,

press to the ground and start it with the other hand by

controlled pulling the starter cable (pic. 15/B). Repeat

the process until the appliance is started (pic. R).

Caution! Do not let the starter cable bounce back –

risk of damage.

Caution! The cutting tool starts rotating when the

engine is started.

7. As soon as the appliance is running, the choke may

be put back to the “OFF“ position.

8. The appliance can be operated now.

If the engine does not start, repeat steps 1-7. If the engine

fails to start after several attempts, please read the

Troubleshooting section.

Heated engine starting

(appliance has been stopped for max. 15-20 min.)

1. Put the appliance on a hard and level surface.

2. Put On/Off to the “I“ position (pic. Q/1).

3. The release lever (pic. Q/3) and hand throttle

(pic.Q/4) (half throttle) presses the half throttle lock

(pic. Q/2) to that position.

4. Now hold the appliance firmly or, more precisely,

press to the ground and start it with the other hand by

controlled pulling the starter cable (pic. 15/B). Repeat

the process until the appliance is started (pic. R).

Caution! Do not let the starter cable bounce back –

risk of damage.

If the engine fails to start after 6 pulls, please proceed as

specified in the Cold engine starting section.

Stopping the engine

Procedure for emergency switch-off:

If necessary, stop the engine immediately. For that

purpose, put On/Off to the “0“ position.

Standard switch-off procedure:

Release the hand throttle and wait until the engine runs

idle. Then put ON/Off to the “0“ position.

Training

Please read carefully the Operating Instructions and the

servicing instructions. Familiarise thoroughly with the

controls and proper using of the appliance. You must know

how the appliance works and how controls can quickly be

switched off.

Never let children work with the appliance. Never let an

adult person work with the appliance without proper

training.

Do not let any persons, especially small children and pets,

to the place of your work.

Be careful to prevent slipping or falling.

Warranty

A warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use

and 24 months apply to private use and commences on

the day of purchase of the device.

Warranty applies exclusively to failures due to defective

material or workmanship. An original sale slip with

indication of date of sale must be presented in case of

claiming for the warranty rights.

Warranty does not cover unprofessional use such as

device overload, violent use, damage caused by third party

or foreign materials, failure to comply with operations and

assembly manual, and normal wear and tear.

Disposal

Disposal instructions are illustrated in the form of

pictograms on the device or packaging. Description of the

pictograms is given in "Identification" chapter.

Disposal of transport packaging

Packaging protects the device against damage during

transport. Packaging materials are usually selected

according to their effect on environment and disposal

methods and can therefore be recycled.

Returning of the packaging back to circulation saves

resources and costs for packaging disposal.

Parts of the packaging (e.g. foil, styropor) may be

dangerous for children. Risk of suffocation!

Keep these parts of the packaging out of reach of children

and dispose as soon as possible.

Servicing

The appliance must always be switched off

before any servicing and cleaning. Wait until

it fully stops. Remove the socket plug.

Servicing works not specified in these Operating

Instructions must be performed by authorised staff as

there may be dangerous situations the operator is unable

to handle. Spare parts may only be replaced by authorised

staff.

Cleaning

Every time the appliance has been used, it should be

cleaned by a clean cloth or blown with compressed air

under low pressure.

Do not use cleaning agents and solvents as they may

damage the plastic parts of the appliance.

Winterising

 Clean the appliance thoroughly.

 Keep the appliance in a dry room.

 Provide overall servicing as described in the

Servicing section.

 Drain the fuel from the tank.

 Start the appliance after draining the fuel.

 Let the appliance run idle until it stops. This will clean

the carburettor from the remaining fuel.

 Let the appliance cool down.

 Remove the spark plug.

 Add a teaspoon of engine oil for 2-stroke to the

combustion chamber. Pull carefully the starter cable

out a couple of times to make the internal

construction elements dip in oil. Refit the spark plug.

 Clean the appliance external surface.

 Keep the appliance in a cold and dry place out of

reach of ignition sources and flammable materials.

 Pack the knife properly to avoid cutting injuries.

Putting the appliance into operation again

Remove the spark plug.

Pull the starter cable several times so that the combustion

chamber gets removed from the remaining oil.

Clean the contacts of the spark plug or fit a new one.

Refuel the tank. See the Fuel and oil section.

Start the engine as specified under “Cold engine starting“.

Air filter servicing

An air filter that is dirty reduces the engine output due to

too low air supply to the carburettor.

A regular inspection is therefore necessary. The air filter

should be checked every 25 hours of operation and

cleaned if necessary. If the filter is too dusty, it should be

checked more often.

1. Remove the air filter cap.

2. Remove the filtration element.

3. Clean the filtration element by tapping or blowing out.

4. Assembly takes place in reverse order.

Never clean the air filter with petrol and flammable

solvents.

Spark plug servicing

Socket plug = 0.6 mm

Spark plug torque: 12 - 15 Nm.

Check the spark plug after 10 hours of operation for any

dirt and clean it with a copper wire brush if necessary. The

spark plug should then be serviced every 50 hours of

operation.

1. Remove the socket plug by twisting.

2. Remove the spark plug by the spark plug socket

wrench.

5. Assembly takes place in reverse order.

Knives servicing

Sharpen or replace the rotational knife, star knife and

string cut-off knife if necessary.

Troubleshooting

The table shows potential failures, their possible cause

and removal options. However, if you are unable to

remove the problem, contact a professional to assist you.

Switch off and unplug the appliance before any

servicing and cleaning.

Požadavky na obsluhu

Obsluha si musí před použitím přístroje pozorně přečíst

návod k obsluze.

Kvalifikace

Kromě podrobného poučení odborníkem není pro

používání přístroje nutná žádná speciální kvalifikace.

Minimální věk

Na přístroji smí pracovat jen osoby, jež dosáhly 18 let.

Výjimku představuje využití mladistvých, pokud se toto

děje během profesního vzdělávání za účelem dosažení

dovednosti pod dohledem školitele.

Školení

Používání přístroje vyžaduje pouze odpovídající poučení

odborníkem resp. návodem k obsluze. Speciální školení

není nutné.

Před uvedením do provozu

Montáž

Obě části sloupku spojte uzávěrem z hliníkového

tlakového odlitku. Přitom dávejte pozor, aby hnací hřídel

do sebe uvnitř vklouzl.

Obě části rukojeti (obr. E) vsuňte do sloupku a zafixujte

pomocí šroubů a podložek (obr. F

Ochranný kryt nasuňte na spodní sloupek (obr. G) a

přišroubujte pomocí šroubů, rozpěrného kroužku, podložky

a matice.

Podle typu práce namontujte vířivý/hvězdicový nůž nebo

strunovou cívku. (obr. H-N)

1. Matici na řezací hlavě povolte vidlicovým a

imbusovým klíčem nebo jiným vhodným nástrojem.

Poté odstraňte ochranný kryt a distanční kotouč.

2. Nyní připevněte k šroubu potřebný nůž nebo

strunovou hlavu.

3. Pokud používáte vířivý nebo hvězdicový nůž, musíte

distanční kotouč, ochranný kryt a matici opět

připevnit.

Při provozu se strunovou cívkou to není nutné.

Při montáži nože noste ochranné rukavice.

Dbejte prosím na to, aby montované díly byly

pevně utaženy.

Systém ramenních popruhů zahákněte do upevňovacího

očka na sloupku (obr. O) a nastavte ho tak, aby řezací

hlava byla paralelně se zemí. K nastavení optimální délky

poté vyžínačem několikrát máchněte, aniž byste

nastartovali motor.

Přístroj před uvedením do provozu zkontrolujte

z hlediska:

 Těsnosti palivového systému

 Bezvadného stavu ochranných a sekacích zařízení

 Pevného utažení všech šroubení

Palivo a olej

Použijte směs pro 2-takt 1:40.

Nepoužívejte směs benzínu, která byla skladována déle

než

30 dní při E10).

Před sečením

Před každým použitím (vizuální kontrola) zkontrolujte žací

nástroje a jejich upevňovací prostředky z hlediska

poškození a pevného utažení, jakož i lehkost chodu všech

spínačů a bezpečné usazení nástrčky zapalovací svíčky.

Terén, na kterém budete vyžínač používat, zkontrolujte z

hlediska předmětů, které mohou být vyžínačem zachyceny

a odhozeny, a tyto předměty odstraňte. (kameny, větve

atd.)

Přístroj nikdy nepoužívejte bez systému ramenních

popruhů.

Před nastartováním vyžínače se ujistěte, že se pohyblivé

součásti stroje mohou volně točit.

Během sečení

Při práci s vyžínačem noste ochranné

brýle/ochranný štít, helmu a ochranu sluchu, jakož i

rukavice.

Sečte jen s bezpečnostní obuví s ocelovými

špičkami/podrážkou a dlouhými kalhotami, nikdy ne bosí

nebo v sandálech.

Dbejte na přiměřený odstup od osob, dětí a zvířat.

Motor zapínejte jen tehdy, jsou-li Vaše nohy v bezpečné

vzdálenosti od žacího nože.

Přístroj držte vždy pevně za obě rukojeti, je tak zaručena i

předepsaná bezpečnostní vzdálenost od oblasti sečení.

Dbejte na bezpečný postoj.

Nikdy nesahejte do rotujícího žacího nože nebo strunové

cívky.

Po vypnutí se nůž ještě několik sekund točí. Nikdy se

nedotýkejte nože, je-li v chodu.

Nesečte mokrou trávu.

Delší používání motoru může vést k poruchám prokrvení

rukou v důsledku vibrací. Tomu lze předejít nošením

vhodných rukavic a zařazováním pravidelných přestávek.

Dbejte na to, aby větrací štěrbiny motoru byly vždy čisté a

beze zbytků trávy.

Při sečení mohou být odhozeny kameny či jiné

předměty, které mohou způsobit vážné úrazy.

Nepoužívejte kovové cívky!

Dbejte na to, že stroj po puštění plynové páčky ještě

dobíhá, a zůstaňte ve své pracovní pozici, dokud se stroj

nezastaví.

Chování v případě nouze

Zaveďte úrazu odpovídající potřebnou první pomoc a

vyzvěte co možná nejrychleji kvalifikovanou lékařskou

pomoc.

Chraňte zraněného před dalšími úrazy a uklidněte jej.

Kvůli případné nehodě musí být na pracovišti vždy po

ruce lékárnička první pomoci dle DIN 13164. Materiál,

který si z lékárničky vezmete, je třeba ihned doplnit.

uveďte tyto údaje:

Obsluha

Dodržujte prosím zákonná ustanovení, týkající se nařízení

o ochraně před hlukem, která se mohou v jednotlivých

místech lišit.

Pozor! Na spodní straně ochranného krytu se

nachází nůž pro automatické odříznutí struny (obr. A/21)

Spuštění studeného motoru

Do nádrže nalijte přiměřené množství směsi pro 2-takt (viz

tabulka směšovacích poměrů).

1. Přístroj postavte na tvrdou a rovnou plochu.

2. Páčku sytiče (obr. C/13) dejte do polohy “ON“.

3. Palivové čerpadlo (primární čerpadlo obr. P) stiskněte

3 x.

4. Zapínač/vypínač dejte do polohy „I“ (obr. Q/1)

5. Odblokovací páčka (obr. Q/3) a plynová páčka

(obr.Q/4) (půlplyn) tlačí aretaci půlplynu (obr. Q/2) do

této polohy.Nyní přístroj pevně držte resp. tlačte na

zem a druhou rukou nastartujte kontrolovaným

zatažením za startovací lanko (obr. 15/B). Postup

opakujte, dokud přístroj nenaskočí. (obr. R)

Pozor! Startovací lanko nenechte vymrštit se zpět –

může to vést k poškození.

Pozor! Žací nástroj se začíná při spuštěném

motoru točit.

6. Jakmile je přístroj v chodu, můžete sytič dát zpět do

polohy „OFF“.

7. Přístroj je nyní provozuschopný.

Pokud motor nestartuje, opakujte kroky 1-7. Pokud motor

nenaskočí ani po několika pokusech, přečtěte si oddíl

Odstraňování poruch.

Spuštění zahřátého motoru

(přístroj se zastavil na max. 15-20 min.)

1. Přístroj postavte na tvrdou a rovnou plochu.

2. Zapínač/vypínač dejte do polohy „I“ (obr. Q/1)

3. Odblokovací páčka (obr. Q/3) a plynová páčka

(obr.Q/4) (půlplyn) tlačí aretaci půlplynu (obr. Q/2) do

této polohy.

4. Nyní přístroj pevně držte resp. tlačte na zem a druhou

rukou nastartujte kontrolovaným zatažením za

startovací lanko (obr. 15/B). Postup opakujte, dokud

přístroj nenaskočí. (obr. R)

Pozor! Startovací lanko nenechte vymrštit se zpět –

může to vést k poškození.

Pokud motor nenaskočí ani po 6 zataženích, postupujte

prosím jako v bodě Spuštění studeného motoru.

Vypnutí motoru

Postup při nouzovém vypnutí:

V případě nutnosti motor ihned zastavte, k tomu dejte

zapínač/vypínač do polohy „0“.

Normální postup při vypnutí:

Pusťte plynovou páčku a počkejte, až motor přejde na

volnoběh. Poté dejte zapínač/vypínač do polohy „0“.

Trénink

Pečlivě si pročtěte návod k obsluze a údržbě. Důkladně se

seznamte s ovládacím zařízením a řádným použitím

přístroje. Musíte vědět, jak přístroj pracuje a jak lze rychle

vypnout ovládací zařízení.

Nikdy nenechávejte děti pracovat s přístrojem. Nikdy

nenechávejte s přístrojem pracovat dospělé bez řádného

zaškolení.

Na své pracoviště nepouštějte žádné osoby, především

pak malé děti a domácí zvířata.

Buďte opatrní, abyste zabránili uklouznutí či pádu.

Záruka

Záruční doba činí 12 měsíců při průmyslovém použití, 24

měsíců pro spotřebitele a začíná dnem nákupu přístroje.

Záruka se vztahuje výhradně na nedostatky způsobené

vadou materiálu nebo výrobní vadou. Při reklamaci v

záruční době je třeba přiložit originální doklad o koupi s

datem prodeje.

Do záruky nespadá neodborné použití jako např. přetížení

přístroje, použití násilí, poškození cizím zásahem nebo

cizími předměty, nedodržení návodu k použití a montáži a

normální opotřebení.

Likvidace

Pokyny pro likvidaci vyplývají z piktogramů umístěných na

přístroji resp. obalu. Popis jednotlivých významů najdete

v kapitole „Označení“.

Likvidace přepravního obalu

Obal chrání přístroj před poškozením při přepravě.

Obalové materiály jsou zvoleny zpravidla podle jejich

šetrnosti vůči životnímu prostředí a způsobu likvidace a lze

je proto recyklovat.

Vrácení obalu do oběhu materiálu šetří suroviny a snižuje

náklady na likvidaci odpadů.

Části obalu (např. fólie, styropor) mohou být nebezpečné

pro děti. Existuje riziko udušení!

Části obalu uschovejte mimo dosah dětí a co nejrychleji

zlikvidujte.

Údržba

Přístroj před údržbou a čištěním vždy vypněte

a počkejte, až se zcela zastaví. Vytáhněte

nástrčku zapalovací svíčky.

Údržbové práce, jež nejsou v této příručce výslovně

popsány, musí provést odborný personál, neboť mohou

nastat nebezpečné situace, na něž není obsluha

připravena. Výměnu náhradních dílů smí provést výhradně

jen odborný personál.

Čištění

Po každém použití vyčistěte vyžínač čistým hadrem nebo

ho vyfoukejte tlakovým vzduchem při nízkém tlaku.

Nepoužívejte čističe a rozpouštědla, tyto mohou poškodit

plastové součásti přístroje.

Zazimování

 Přístroj důkladně vyčistěte.

 Přístroj uložte v suché místnosti.

 Proveďte celkovou údržbu, která je popsána v oddíle

Údržba.

 Palivo vypusťte z nádrže.

 Po vypuštění paliva nastartujte stroj.

 Stroj nechte běžet dále na volnoběh, dokud se

nezastaví. To vyčistí karburátor od zbylého paliva.

 Stroj nechte vychladnout.

 Vyjměte zapalovací svíčku.

 Do spalovací komory dejte čajovou lžičku motorového

oleje pro 2-takt. Několikrát opatrně vytáhněte lanko
