2. Intended purpose

Use the device exclusively for the bag seal-

ing or vacuum-packing and bag sealing of

food.

The device is designed for private home use

and must not be used for commercial pur-

poses.

The device must only be used indoors.

Foreseeable misuse

WARNING! Risk of material

damage!

~ Only use special plastic films suited for

the use with bag sealers. Comply with

the notes on the packaging of the plas-

tic films.

3. Safety information

Warnings

If necessary, the following warnings will be

used in these operating instructions:

DANGER! High risk: failure to ob-

serve this warning may result in inju-

ry to life and limb.

WARNING! Moderate risk: failure to ob-

serve this warning may result in injury or se-

rious material damage.

CAUTION: low risk: failure to observe this

warning may result in minor injury or mate-

rial damage.

NOTE: circumstances and specifics that

must be observed when handling the de-

vice.

Instructions for safe operation

This device can be used by children from the age of 8 and people

with restricted physical, sensory or intellectual abilities or people

without adequate experience and/or understanding, if they are su-

pervised or instructed on how to use this device safely and if they

are aware of the resulting danger. Children must not play with the

device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by

children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

Keep children under the age of 8 away from the device and the

power cable.

Never leave the device unattended while it is plugged in.

If the mains power cable of this device should become damaged, it

must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's customer

service department or a similarly qualified specialist, in order to

avoid any hazards.

~ This device is not intended to be operated using an external tim-

er clock or a separate remote control system.

DANGER for children

~ Children must not play with packing

material. Do not allow children to play

with plastic bags. There is a risk of suf-

focation.

DANGER to or from pets and

livestock

~ Electrical devices can also represent a

hazard to pets and livestock. In addi-

tion, animals can also cause damage to

the device. For this reason you should

keep animals away from electrical de-

vices at all times.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock due to moisture

~ Protect the device from moisture, water

drops and water splashes.

~ The device, the power cable and the

mains plug must not be immersed in

water or any other liquids.

~ If liquid gets into the device, remove the

mains plug immediately. Have the de-

vice checked before reusing.

~ If the device has fallen into water, pull

out the mains plug immediately, and

only then remove the device from the

water. Do not use the device again,

and have it checked by a specialist

workshop.

~ Never touch the device with wet hands.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock

~ Do not use the device if the device or

the power cable has any visible dam-

age, or if the device has previously

been dropped.

~ Lay the power cable such that no one

can step on it, get caught on it, or trip

over it.

~ Only connect the mains plug to a prop-

erly installed and easily accessible wall

socket whose voltage corresponds to

the specifications on the rating plate.

The wall socket must continue to be eas-

ily accessible after the device is

plugged in.

~ Ensure that the power cable cannot be

damaged by sharp edges or hot points.

Do not wrap the power cable around

the device (Danger! Risk of cable dam-

age!). Use the cable spool at the bottom

of the device.

~ Let the device cool down completely be-

fore winding up the power cable.

~ Ensure that the power cable cannot be

trapped or crushed.

~ To pull the mains plug out of the wall

socket, always pull on the mains plug,

and never on the power cable.

~ Disconnect the mains plug from the wall

socket …

DANGER! Fire hazard

~ Never leave the device unattended

while it is plugged in.

~ Use the device on a stable, level and

heat-resistant surface.

~ Never cover the device when connect-

ed due to possible overheating and fire

hazard!

~ Do not use the device in the vicinity of

flammable materials or flammable gas-

es.

DANGER! Risk of injury

through burning

~ The welding wire becomes very hot dur-

ing operation. Do not touch the hot

welding wire.

~ Allow the device to cool down com-

pletely before you clean it or put it

away.

DANGER caused by

insufficient hygiene

~ For a carefree enjoyment of your vacu-

um-sealed food, you should always

comply with the following hygiene tips:

- During the preparation and packag-

ing of the food make sure that the en-

tire equipment is perfectly clean.

- After use, clean the bag sealer and

the entire equipment thoroughly as

soon as possible.

- Perishable food shall be cooled or fro-

zen immediately after sealing.

- After thawing or heating perishable

food, this must be consumed immedi-

ately.

WARNING! Risk of material damage

~ Observe the specified operating time of

the device. After the sealing or vacuum-

ing process, the device must cool down

for at least 80 seconds.

~ Only use special plastic films suited for

the use of bag sealers.

~ Never place the device on hot surfaces

(e.g. hot plates) or near to heat sources

or open fire.

~ Ensure that no liquid is sucked in during

the extraction of air.

~ The device is fitted with non-slip silicon

feet. Because furniture can be coated

with a wide variety of varnishes and

plastics, and treated with various care

products, the possibility cannot be ex-

cluded that some of these substances

have ingredients that may attack and

soften the silicon feet. If necessary,

place a non-slip mat under the device.

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive

cleaning agents.

Before using for the first time

• Remove all packing material.

• Check that the device is undamaged.

5. Power supply

Only connect the mains plug|6 to a properly

installed and easily accessible wall socket

whose voltage corresponds to the specifica-

tions on the rating plate. The wall socket

must continue to be easily accessible after

the device is plugged in.

1. Unwind the required length of power

cable|6 from the cable spool|17.

2. Lead the power cable|6 through the

opening|7 on the underside of the de-

vice.

3. Connect the mains plug|6 with the wall

socket.

6. Advantages of

vacuum-packed food

6.1 Durability

Vacuum-packed food keeps fresh for a sig-

nificantly longer period. This is due to the

fact that during the vacuum packing process

the oxygen is removed from the food pack-

age.

Furthermore, high-quality films and the vacu-

um packing protect well against freezer

burn.

6.2 Sous-Vide - gentle

cooking method in a

vacuum bag

The dream of every hobby cook: a steak that

is pink and juicy on the inside, crispy on the

outside. But unfortunately it does not always

work using conventional methods, or it re-

quires exact timing. Sous-vide makes cook-

ing easier, and almost always yields perfect

results.

In principle, sous-vide is nothing more than

the slow cooking of vacuum-sealed food.

On the one hand, sous-vide is a very simple

method for achieving excellent results when

preparing food. On the other hand, sous-

vide is a clear rejection of the "quick quick"

attitude of our age.

Professional cooks have been using this

method for many years. With the new Sous-

Vide Cooker, this cooking method is now

also affordable for hobby cooks at home.

7. Preparation

7.1 Setting up the device

Place the device on a dry, level and heat-re-

sistant surface.

7.2 Requirements on the

film/bags

- You can use tubular film or complete

bags.

- The film must not be wider than 28 cm.

- The film must be provided with dots/

knobs or grooves on one side. Smooth

films are not suited for sealing.

- Thickness should be between 0.17 and

0.29 mm (170 - 290 ).

- When buying the film, check the temper-

ature range it is suited for. The ideal

range is between -20 °C and +110|°C.

Such films can be deep-frozen or boiled.

The film included in the delivery is suited

for this application.

- You will find those data on the package

of the film or bag.

7.3 Producing a bag

If you use finished bags, these steps do not

apply.

1. Unwind the length of film from the roll

you require for your bag. Regarding the

length of the bag, remember that a

space of approx. 6 cm towards the top

should be left after filling.

2. Use scissors to cut the piece of film as

straight as possible.

3. For sealing the bag (see “Seal the bag”

on page 7).

8. Use

Every active function can be cancelled im-

mediately by pressing the button|3 .

WARNING! Risk of material

damage!

~ Observe the specified operating time of

the device. After the sealing or vacuum-

ing process, the device must cool down

for at least 80 seconds.

8.1 Fill the bag

CAUTION:

~ No food or liquids must be present at

the top edge, where you want to seal

the bag. That area must be clean and

dry. Otherwise, it is impossible to pro-

duce a proper welding seam.

• Fill the bag only up to a level of 6 cm

below the top edge.

8.2 Seal the bag

1. Smooth the bag where it is to be

sealed.

2. Open the lid|11. If necessary, press the

buttons|8 first.

3. Figure A: place the bag in the device.

For this purpose, the end of the film

must be positioned shortly in front of the

rear limitation webs|12 and the lateral

limitation webs|15.

4. Ensure again that there are no creases

in the film - especially in the area above

the welding wire|14.

5. Close the lid|11.

6. Figure B: use both hands to press firm-

ly on the edges of the lid|11. They must

engage audibly.

7. Press the button|2 . The red LED|1

lights up. The film is being sealed.

- After approx. 5 - 7 seconds, the red

LED|1 goes out and the sealing pro-

cess is completed.

8. Simultaneously, press buttons|8 in order

to release the lock of the lid|11.

9. Open the lid|11 and remove the bag.

10.Check the welding seam. It should be a

smooth creaseless seam.

8.3 Vacuum-pack and seal

the bag

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock due to moisture!

~ For vacuum packing, no liquids must be

inside the bag.

Ensure that no liquid is sucked in during

the extraction of air. If this occurs, interrupt

the process by pressing the button|

1. Smooth the bag where it is to be

sealed.

2. Open the lid|11.

3. Figure A: place the bag in the device.

For this purpose, the end of the film

must be positioned shortly in front of the

rear limitation webs|12 and the lateral

limitation webs|15.

4. Ensure again that there are no creases

in the film - especially in the area above

the welding wire|14.

5. Close the lid|11.

6. Figure B: use both hands to press firm-

ly on the edges of the lid|11. They must

engage audibly.

7. Press the button|

. The green LED|

lights up. The vacuuming starts.

- After the vacuuming, the green LED|5

goes out and the red LED|1 lights up -

the sealing process is active. After ap-

prox. 5 - 7 seconds, the red LED|1

goes out and the sealing process is

completed.

8. Simultaneously, press buttons|8 in order

to release the lock of the lid|11.

9. Open the lid|11 and remove the bag.

10.Check the welding seam. It should be a

smooth creaseless seam.

9. Cleaning and

storage

DANGER! Risk of injury

through burning/scalding!

~ Allow the device to cool down com-

pletely before you clean it or put it

away.

~ The welding wire|14 becomes very hot

during operation. Do not touch the hot

welding wire|14.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock!

~ Prior to cleaning, disconnect the mains

plug|6 of the device.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock due to moisture!

~ The device, the power cable|6 and the

mains plug must not be immersed in

water or any other liquids.

WARNING! Risk of material

damage!

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive

cleaning agents.

9.1 Cleaning

In order to ensure the proper function and

the full capacity of your device, clean it reg-

ularly.

• Wipe down the housing of the device

with a damp cloth.

• Prior to the next use, the device must be

completely dry.

9.2 Storage

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

~ During storage, the lid|11 must not be

locked, but only loosely closed. Perma-

nent locking could damage sealing

rings|10 and|16.

• Figure C: wind the power cable|6

around the cable spool|17 at the un-

derside of the device.

• Store the device protected against dust

and dirt and out of the reach of chil-

dren.

10. Disposal

This product is subject to the

provisions of European Direc-

tive 2012/19/EC. The sym-

bol showing a wheelie bin

crossed through indicates

that the product requires sep-

arate refuse collection in the European Un-

ion. This applies to the product and all

accessories marked with this symbol. Prod-

ucts identified with this symbol may not be

discarded with normal household waste, but

must be taken to a collection point for recy-

cling electric and electronic appliances. Re-

cycling helps to reduce the consumption of

raw materials and protect the environment.

Packaging

When disposing of the packaging, make

sure you comply with the environmental reg-

ulations applicable in your country.

11. Troubleshooting

If your device fails to function as required,

please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is

only a minor problem, and you can solve it

yourself.

14. Warranty of the

HOYER Handel GmbH

Dear Customer,

your device is provided with a 3 year war-

ranty starting with the purchase date. In the

event of product defects, you are entitled to

statutory rights against the vendor. These

statutory rights are not restricted by our war-

ranty presented in the following.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts with the purchase

date. Please keep the original purchase re-

ceipt in a safe place. This document is re-

quired to verify the purchase.

If within three years from the purchase date

of this product a material or factory defect

occurs, the product will be repaired or re-

placed by us – at our discretion – free of

charge to you. This warranty implies that

within the period of three years the defective

device and the purchase receipt are present-

ed, including a brief written description of

the defect and the time it occurred.

If the defect is covered by our warranty, the

repaired or a new product will be returned

to you. No new warranty period starts with

a repair or replacement of the product.

Warranty period and statutory

claims for defects

The warranty period is not extended when

the warranty has been claimed. This also ap-

plies to replaced and repaired parts. Any

damages and defects already existing at the

time of purchase must be reported immedi-

ately upon unpacking. Repairs arising after

the expiration of the warranty period are

subject to a charge.

Warranty coverage

The device was produced carefully according

to strict quality guidelines and tested diligent-

ly prior to delivery.

The warranty applies to material or factory

defects.

Excluded from the warranty are

wear parts subject to normal wear

and damages to fragile parts, e.g.

switches, batteries, lamps or other

parts manufactured from glass.

This warranty expires if the product is dam-

aged, not used as intended or not serviced.

For the proper operation of the product, all in-

structions listed in the operating instructions

must be observed carefully. Any form of use

and handling that is advised against in the

operating instructions or warned against

must always be avoided.

The product is only intended for private and

not for commercial use. In the case of incor-

rect and improper treatment, use of force and

interventions not performed by our author-

ised Service Centre, the warranty shall cease.

2. RendeltetésszerŅ

A készüléket kizárólag fóliahegesztésre

vagy vákuumcsomagolásra, illetve élelmi-

szerek fóliázására használhatja.

A készülék kizárólag háztartási használatra

készült, nem szabad üzleti célokra használ-

ni.

A készüléket csak beltéren szabad használni.

Rendeltetésellenes használat

FIGYELMEZTETÉS anyagi károkra!

~ Csak speciális mŅanyag fóliákat hasz-

náljon, amelyek használhatóak fóliahe-

gesztĩkben. Kövesse a mŅanyag fólia

csomagolásán található utasításokat.

MEGJEGYZÉS:

Utasítások a készülék biztonságos üzemeltetéséhez

A készüléket gyermekek 8 éves kortól, fizikailag, érzékszervileg

vagy szellemileg/értelmileg korlátozott, vagy megfelelĩ tapaszta-

lattal és/vagy tudással nem rendelkezĩ személyek csak felügyelet

mellett, illetve csak akkor használhatják, ha a készülék használatá-

ból eredĩ veszélyeket megértették. Gyermekek nem játszhatnak a

készülékkel. A tisztítást és a felhasználói karbantartást gyermekek

nem végezhetik – kivéve, ha legalább 8 évesek, és tevékenységü-

ket folyamatosan felügyeli.

A 8 évnél fiatalabb gyermekeket távol kell tartani a készüléktĩl és

annak vezetékétĩl.

A csatlakoztatott készüléket soha ne hagyja felügyelet nélkül.

Ha a készülék csatlakozóvezetéke megsérül, akkor a veszélyek

megelĩzése érdekében a gyártóval vagy a gyártó vevĩszolgálatá-

val, vagy egy megfelelĩ szakképzettséggel rendelkezĩ személlyel

cseréltesse ki.

~ A készülék nem üzemeltethetĩ külsĩ idĩkapcsoló órával vagy kü-

lön távvezérlĩ rendszerrel.

VESZÉLY gyermekekre nézve

~ A csomagolóanyag nem gyermekjá-

ték. Gyermekek nem játszhatnak a

mŅanyag zacskókkal. Fulladásveszély

áll fenn.

VESZÉLY házi- és haszonálla-

tokra nézve és az általuk

okozott veszély

~ Az elektromos készülékek veszélyt je-

lenthetnek a házi- és haszonállatokra

nézve. Ezenkívül az állatok is károsít-

hatják a készüléket. Ezért alapvetĩen

tartsa távol az állatokat az elektronikus

készülékektĩl.

Nedvesség következtében

fellépĩ áramütés VESZÉLYE

~ Óvja a készüléket a nedvességtĩl, fröc-

csenĩ vagy csöpögĩ víztĩl.

~ A készüléket, a csatlakozóvezetéket és

a hálózati csatlakozódugót nem sza-

bad vízbe vagy más folyadékokba már-

tani.

~ Amennyiben folyadék jutna a készülék-

be, azonnal húzza ki a hálózati csatla-

kozót. Az újbóli üzembe helyezés elĩtt

ellenĩriztesse a készüléket.

~ Amennyiben a készülék mégis vízbe es-

ne, akkor azonnal húzza ki a hálózati

csatlakozót, és csak utána vegye ki a

készüléket a vízbĩl. Ilyen esetben ne

használja tovább a készüléket, hanem

ellenĩriztesse szakszervizzel.

~ Ne használja a készüléket nedves kéz-

zel.

Áramütés VESZÉLYE

~ Ne mŅködtesse a készüléket, ha a ké-

szüléken vagy a csatlakozóvezetéken

látható sérülések találhatók, illetĩleg ha

a készüléket elĩzĩleg leejtették.

~ A csatlakozóvezetéket úgy kell vezetni,

hogy arra senki ne léphessen rá, senki

ne akadhasson bele és senki ne botol-

hasson meg benne.

~ A hálózati csatlakozódugót kizárólag

olyan szabályszerŅen felszerelt, kön-

nyen hozzáférhetĩ dugaszolóaljzathoz

csatlakoztassa, amelynek feszültsége

megfelel a készülék adattábláján feltün-

tetett értéknek. A dugaszolóaljzatnak a

csatlakoztatást követĩen is jól hozzáfér-

hetĩnek kell lennie.

~ Ügyeljen arra, hogy a csatlakozóveze-

ték ne sérüljön meg éles peremek vagy

forró felületek miatt. Ne tekerje a csatla-

kozóvezetéket a készülékre (kábeltörés

veszélye!). Használja a készülék alján

található kábelvezetĩt.

~ Mielĩtt feltekerné a csatlakozóvezetéket,

várja meg, míg a készülék teljesen lehŅl.

~ Ügyeljen arra, hogy a csatlakozóveze-

ték ne akadjon vagy csípĩdjön be.

~ A hálózati csatlakozódugó kihúzásakor

mindig magát a csatlakozódugót fogja

meg, ne a vezetéket.

~ Húzza ki a hálózati csatlakozódugót a

csatlakozóaljzatból…

…minden használat után,

…ha üzemzavar lép fel,

…ha nem használja a készüléket,

…mielĩtt a készüléket tisztítaná és

…vihar idején.

VESZÉLY – TŅzveszély

~ A csatlakoztatott készüléket soha ne

hagyja felügyelet nélkül.

~ A készüléket csak stabil, sík és hĩálló

felületen használja.

~ Az esetleges túlhevülés és tŅzveszély

miatt soha ne fedje le a hálózatra csat-

lakoztatott készüléket!

~ Ne használja a készüléket éghetĩ

anyagok vagy gázok közelében.

Égési sérülések VESZÉLYE

~ A hegesztĩhuzal használat közben na-

gyon felmelegszik. Ne érjen a forró he-

gesztĩhuzalhoz.

~ Várja meg, míg a készülék teljesen le-

hŅlt, és csak ezután tisztítsa meg és te-

gye el.

VESZÉLY az elégtelen higiénia

miatt

~ A vákuumcsomagolt élelmiszerek prob-

lémamentes használata érdekében fel-

tétlenül vegye figyelembe a következĩ

higiénés javaslatokat:

- Az élelmiszerek elĩkészítésekor és a

csomagolásakor ügyeljen az összes

munkaeszköz tökéletes tisztaságára.

- Használat után alaposan tisztítsa

meg a fóliahegesztĩt és az összes

munkaeszközt.

- A romlandó élelmiszereket a csoma-

golás után haladéktalanul le kell hŅte-

ni vagy fagyasztani.

- A romlandó élelmiszereket felolvasz-

tásukat vagy felmelegítésüket követĩ-

en haladéktalanul el kell fogyasztani.

FIGYELMEZTETÉS anyagi károkra

~ Tartsa be a készülék megadott üzemide-

jét. A hegesztés vagy a vákuumcsoma-

golás után a készüléket legalább

80|másodpercig hagyni kell lehŅlni.

~ Csak speciális mŅanyag fóliákat hasz-

náljon, amelyek használhatók fóliahe-

gesztĩkben.

~ A készüléket soha ne helyezze forró fe-

lületre (pl. tŅzhelyre), hĩforrások vagy

nyílt láng közelébe.

~ Ügyeljen arra, hogy a levegĩ kiszívása-

kor ne szívjon fel folyadékot.

~ A készülék csúszásmentes szilikon lábak-

kal van felszerelve. Mivel a bútorok szá-

mos különbözĩ festékkel és mŅanyaggal

vannak bevonva, és különbözĩ ápoló-

szerekkel kezelik ezeket, ezért nem zár-

ható ki teljességgel, hogy az ilyen

anyagok olyan alkotórészeket tartalmaz-

nak, amelyek a szilikon lábakat károsít-

hatják és feloldhatják. Adott esetben

helyezzen csúszásmentes alátétet a ké-

szülék alá.

~ A tisztításhoz ne alkalmazzon hegyes

eszközöket vagy súroló hatású tisztító-

szereket.

készülék adattábláján feltüntetett értéknek.

vetĩen is jól hozzáférhetĩnek kell lennie.
