2) Push the whisks or the kneading hooks
into the slots until they click audibly into
place and are secure.

3) Insert the mains plug into a mains power
socket.
4) To start operating the appliance, move the speed
switch to the desired speed setting. You
can select between 5 speed settings and also
use the Turbo button (see section “Speed
levels”).
5) Press the tool release button to release the
whisks or the kneading hooks .
NOTE
► For safety reasons, the whisks and kneading
hooks can only be released if the speed
switch is set to position "0".
Pureeing
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Never use containers made from glass or
other easily breakable materials. These con-
tainers may be damaged and cause injuries.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► Never use the blender for hard foodstuffs
such as: coffee beans, ice cubes, sugar,
cereals, chocolate, raw/hard vegetables etc.
This could result in serious damage to the
appliance.
► Do not use blender to purée boiling
food (e.g. soups). Remove the pot from the
hotplate before puréeing.
1) Open the fixture with the safety cover and
hold the safety cover firmly.
NOTE
► The blender can only be used if the
whisks or the kneading hooks are not
installed.
2) Push the blender into the fixture , push
it down and tighten it by turning firmly several
times in the direction of the arrow
.
3) To avoid overflowing, the container used for
blending should only be filled to about 2/3 of
its capacity. Select a suitably large container
or use the supplied measuring jug -.
NOTE
► In order to ensure that the ingredients are
properly mixed, the food that is being pro-
cessed should cover at least the lower part
of the blender .
► Do not switch the hand mixer on until the
blender has been inserted into the ingre-
dients to be blended.
4) Move the speed switch to the “Blender”
setting
(see chapter “Speed levels”) and
press the Turbo button . Keep the Turbo
button pressed down during the whole
procedure. The appliance stops as soon as it
is released.
