BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
Ihre Sicherheit und die Sicherheit anderer ist uns sehr wichtig. Wir haben viele wichtige
Sicherheitshinweise in dieser Montage- und Bedienungsanleitung zur Verfügung gestellt.
Lesen und beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise sowie Hinweise.
Dies ist das Warnsymbol. Dieses Symbol warnt vor möglichen Gefahren, die den
Tod oder Verletzungen für Sie und andere zur Folge haben können. Alle
Sicherheitshinweise folgen dem Warnsymbol, auf dieses folgt entweder das Wort

Die Füllventile sind als Doppelrückschlagventil mit innenliegendem Dichtkegel und
metallischem Rückschlagteller ausgeführt. Die Verschlusskappe ist über eine Kunststoff-
Halteschlaufe unverlierbar mit dem Gehäuse verbunden. Bei aufgeschraubter
Verschlusskappe wird mittels innenliegender Weichsitzdichtung eine zusätzliche Abdichtung
erreicht. Der Anschluss ist zudem mit einer Entlastungsöffnung versehen, die erst beim Lösen
der Verschlusskappe wirksam wird.
Typ FVK: Dieses Füllventil verfügt über einen integrierten Kugelhahn als handbetätigte
Absperrarmatur. Eingeschlossene Flüssigphase im Ventillraum zwischen Dichtkegel und
Kugelhahn wird über eine Druckentspannungseinrichtung sicher in den Flüssiggasbehälter
abgeleitet.
Typ FV: Der Rückschlagteller ist über einen Stift mit dem Dichtkegel verbunden und öffnet,
wenn das Füllventil aufgedrückt wird.
Durch eine Sollbruchstelle erfolgt bei Betankungsfehlern ein Abriss des
Füllschlauchanschlusses (zwischen 400 bis 500 Nm), wodurch das Doppelrückschlagventil
automatisch schließt und somit den Gasaustritt verhindert.

QUALIFIKATION DER ANWENDER
Dieses Produkt darf nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal installiert werden. Hierbei handelt es
sich um Personal, das mit Aufstellung, Einbau, Inbetriebnahme, Betrieb und Wartung dieses
Produktes vertraut ist.
Arbeitsmittel und überwachungsbedürftige Anlagen dürfen selbstständig nur von Personen
bedient werden, die das 18. Lebensjahr vollendet haben, körperlich geeignet sind und die
erforderlichen Sachkenntnisse besitzen oder von einer befähigten Person unterwiesen
wurden. Eine Unterweisung in regelmäßigen Abständen, mindestens jedoch jährlich, wird
empfohlen.

MONTAGE
Vor der Montage ist das Produkt auf Transportschäden und Vollständigkeit zu prüfen.
Die MONTAGE ist von einem Fachbetrieb vorzunehmen!
Siehe QUALIFIKATION DER ANWENDER!
Montage ausschließlich an drucklosen und neutralisierten Gasbehältern durchführen!
Alle nachfolgenden Hinweise dieser Montage- und Bedienungsanleitung müssen vom
Fachbetrieb, Betreiber und Bediener beachtet, eingehalten und verstanden werden.
Voraussetzung für ein einwandfreies Funktionieren der Anlage ist eine fachgerechte
Installation unter Beachtung der für Planung, Bau und Betrieb der Gesamtanlage gültigen
technischen Regeln.
Verletzungsgefahr durch herausgeblasene Metallspäne!

Die Montage ist mit einem geeigneten Werkzeug vorzunehmen. Bei
Schraubverbindungen muss immer mit einem zweiten Schlüssel am Anschlussstutzen
gegengehalten werden.
Ungeeignete Werkzeuge, wie z. B. Zangen, dürfen nicht verwendet werden!
Schraubverbindungen
Explosions-, Brand- und Erstickungsgefahr durch Undichtheit der Anschlüsse!
Kann durch Verdrehen des Produktes zu Gasaustritt führen.
Produkt nach der Montage und beim Nachziehen der Anschlüsse nicht mehr verdrehen!
Nachziehen von Anschlüssen nur in vollständig drucklosem Zustand!
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen!
Bildung einer gefährlichen explosionsfähigen Atmosphäre kann nicht ausgeschlossen
werden.
Erforderliche Schutzmaßnahmen durchführen nach:
DE: Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (ATEX Betriebsrichtlinie 1999/92/EG).
Wahrscheinlichkeit explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre beurteilen!
Vorhandensein von Zündquellen beurteilen!
Mögliche Auswirkungen von Explosionen beurteilen!
Explosionsgefährdeten Bereiche in Zonen einteilen und Maßnahmen treffen!
Für Anlagen in Verbindung mit explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen sind die dafür
gültigen nationalen Vorschriften und Errichtungsbestimmungen zu beachten!
Bei Instandsetzungen und Reparaturen dürfen nur Original-Ersatzteile verwendet
werden.
Einbau des Füllventils
•Die vorgesehene Einschweißmuffe des Gasbehälters und das Außengewinde des
Füllventils frei von Fett und Verunreinigungen halten.
•Dichtmittel am Außengewinde des Füllventils anbringen. Bei Benutzung von PTFE-Band
(im Uhrzeigersinn aufwickeln) ist darauf zu achten, dass dieses den ersten unteren
Gewindegang (RW=Rechtsgewinde) überlappt. Ein zusätzliches Auftragen von Gleitmitteln
ist zu unterlassen, um die metallische Abdichtung des NPT-Gewindes zu gewährleisten.
•Füllventil am Gehäuse von Hand in die Muffe am Gasbehälter lose einschrauben.
•Die Montage ist ausschließlich mit einem Gabelschlüssel SW 46 vorzunehmen.
Eine Rohrzange darf nicht verwendet werden. Es ist ein Drehmomentschlüssel zu
verwenden.
•Einschrauben des Füllventils nur im Uhrzeigersinn (ausschließlich in Festdrehrichtung) und
mit einem Anzugs-Drehmoment von 160 Nm ± 8 Nm festziehen. Das maximale
Anzugs-Drehmoment von 168 Nm nicht überschreiten!
•Die Verschlusskappe ist auf Festsitz durch Handanzug zu kontrollieren.
•Anschließend ist die technische Dichtheit an den Anschlüssen vor Inbetriebnahme des
Gasbehälters / der Flüssiggasanlage zu prüfen, siehe DICHTHEITSKONTROLLE.
Alle freien Anschlüsse in den Zuleitungen der Flüssiggasanlage sind mit einem
geeigneten Verschluss dicht zu verschließen, um ausströmendes Gas zu vermeiden!

Die Flüssiggasanlage muss vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme im Zuge von Überwachungs- und
Wartungsarbeiten, vor einer Wieder-Inbetriebnahme, nach wesentlichen Änderungen und
Instandsetzungsarbeiten durch einen Sachkundigen auf Dichtheit geprüft werden.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Das Produkt ist sofort betriebsbereit.
BEDIENUNG
Benutzen Sie dieses Produkt erst, nachdem Sie die Montage- und Bedienungs-
anleitung aufmerksam gelesen haben.
Beachten Sie zu Ihrer Sicherheit alle Sicherheitshinweise dieser Montage- und
Bedienungsanleitung.
Verhalten Sie sich verantwortungsvoll gegenüber anderen Personen.
Beim Füllvorgang sind die zutreffenden technischen Regeln und die Füllanweisungen
des Speditionsunternehmens zu beachten.
Das Füllventil dient zum Füllen eines Flüssiggasbehälters. Zum Füllen wird die
Verschlusskappe durch Linksdrehen per Hand gelöst und abgenommen. Der Anschluss des
Füllschlauches ist am Anschluss des Füllventils fest aufzuschrauben.
Ausströmendes Flüssiggas (Kategorie 1):
• ist extrem entzündbar
• kann zu Explosionen führen
• schwere Verbrennungen bei direktem Hautkontakt
Verbindungen regelmäßig auf Dichtheit prüfen!

Typ FVK:
Der Kugelhahn ist nur beim Füllvorgang zu öffnen:
Betätigungshebel um 90° drehen. Nach Abschluss des Füllvorganges
Kugelhahn stets wieder schließen: Betätigungshebel auf Stellung 90°
zur Füllventilachse stellen. Die Druckentspannungseinrichtung ist in
Geschlossen-Stellung des Kugelhahnes wieder betriebsbereit.
Das Füllventil Typ FVK darf nicht zum Entleeren des Tanks genutzt
werden.
Typ FV:
ZU
AUF
Über ein Füllzwischenstück wird dann der Dichtkegel mittels Stift aufgedrückt. Dabei ist
darauf zu achten, dass dieser Stift in der Länge korrekt eingestellt ist, da es sonst zu einer
Beschädigung des Füllventils kommen kann. Maximaler Ventihub: 11 mm.
Nach Abschluss des Füllvorganges ist die Verschlusskappe des Füllventils per Hand durch
Rechtsdrehen stets fest aufzusetzen.
Dichtheitsprüfung durchführen.
Verbrennungs- oder Brandgefahr!
Schwere Hautverbrennungen oder Sachschaden.
Keine offenen Flammen zur Prüfung verwenden!
Alle Anschlüsse auf Dichtheit prüfen!
Alle Anschlüsse mit schaumbildenden Mitteln nach EN 14291 einsprühen,
(z. B. Lecksuchspray, Bestell-Nr. 02 601 00).
Dichtheit prüfen, indem auf Blasenbildung im aufgesprühten
schaumbildenden Mittel geachtet wird.

Bilden sich weitere Blasen, müssen die Anschlüsse nachgezogen
werden (siehe MONTAGE). Falls sich die Undichtheiten nicht beseitigen lassen, darf
das Produkt nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.

WARTUNG
Das Produkt ist nach ordnungsgemäßer MONTAGE und BEDIENUNG wartungsfrei.
AUSTAUSCH
Bei Anzeichen jeglichen Verschleißes und jeglicher Zerstörung des Produktes oder eines
Teiles des Produktes muss dieses ausgetauscht werden. Bei Austausch des Produktes
Schritte MONTAGE, DICHTHEITSKONTROLLE und INBETRIEBNAHME beachten!
INSTANDSETZUNG
Führen die unter FEHLERBEHEBUNG genannten Maßnahmen nicht zur ordnungsgemäßen
Wiederinbetriebnahme und liegt kein Auslegungsfehler vor, muss das Produkt zur Prüfung an
den Hersteller gesandt werden. Bei unbefugten Eingriffen erlischt die Gewährleistung.
AUSSERBETRIEBNAHME
Behälterventil und dann Absperrarmaturen des Gasgerätes schließen.
Bei Nichtbenutzung der Flüssiggasanlage alle Ventile geschlossen halten.

retaining loop. When the sealing cap is screwed on, this provides an additional seal by means
of the internal soft-seat seal. The connection also has a relief opening that works only when
the sealing cap is released.
Type FVK: This filling valve has an integrated ball cock as a hand-operated isolating valve.
The enclosed liquid phase in the valve chamber between the sealing cone and the ball cock is
drained safely to the liquefied gas tank via a pressure relief fitting.
Type FV: The back-pressure plate is connected with the sealing cone via a pin and opens
when the filling valve is pressed open.
In the event of refuelling errors, the filling hose line is torn by a predetermined breaking point
(between 400 to 500Nm), where the double check valve closes automatically and thus
prevents gas leakage.

Install with suitable tools, if required.
Regarding screw connections, use a second spanner to brace against the connection nozzle.
Do not use unsuitable tools, such as pliers.

If connections leak, there is a danger of explosion, fire or suffocation!
Gas may escape if the product is turned.
Do not turn the product after it has been installed and the connections have been
tightened.
Tighten connections only when they are not pressurised.
Intended use in potentially explosive areas.
The formation of a hazardous explosive atmosphere cannot be ruled out.
Take the required protective measures according to:
GER: Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, EC: Directive 1999/92/EC!
Assess the likelihood of explosive atmospheres.
Assess the presence of sources of ignition.
Assess possible impacts of explosions.
Divide potentially explosive areas into zones and take measures.
In the case of systems in connection with areas where there is a risk of explosion,
compliance is required with the appropriately valid national regulations and
installation regulations!
In the case of repair work and maintenance, original spare parts may only be
used.
Installing the filling valve
•Keep the designated welding sleeve of the liquefied gas tank and the external thread of the
filling valves free of grease and contamination
•Apply sealing material to the external thread of the filling valve. If you are using PTFE tape,
(PTFE band: wind clockwise) make sure that it overlaps the first bottom turn (RW=right-
handed thread) of the thread. Do not apply additional lubricant so that the metal seal of the
NPT thread is ensured.
•Screw the filling valve to the casing into the sleeve of the liquefied gas tanks loosely
by hand.
•Screw the filling valve only in a clockwise direction (only in the tightening direction).
•Use an SW 46 open-end spanner to apply a torque of 160Nm ± 8Nm on the casing.
•Manually tighten the sealing cap to check that it sits firmly.
•Use only an SW 46 open-end spanner for assembly. Do not use a pipe wrench. Use a
torque wrench.
•Then check the technical seal of the filling valve at the connections before putting the
liquefied gas tank into operation. The liquefied gas tank may be released for potential use
only when these requirements have been complied with (see LEAK TESTING).
Close all free connections in the feed lines of the LPG system tightly with a
suitable cap to prevent gas from flowing out.

LEAK TESTING
The liquefied gas unit must be checked for leaks by an expert before the first start-up, during
checking and maintenance work, before the re-start and after important changes and repair
work. See USER QUALIFICATION!
The product is ready for use.
•Use this product only when you have carefully read the assembly and operating
manual.
•For your own safety, observe all the safety messages in this assembly and operating
manual.
•Please also consider the safety of others.
During filling observe the applicable technical rules and filling instructions of the
freight forwarder.
The filling valve is used to fill a liquefied gas tank. To fill the tank, loosen and remove the
sealing cap by manually turning it anti-clockwise. Firmly screw the filling hose connection on
to the filling valve connection.

Type FVK:
Open the ball cock only for filling: adjust the lever to the position
Shown in the figure. When the filling process has been completed,
always close the ball cock again: adjust the lever to 90° to the filling
valve axis. The pressure relief device is ready for operation again
when the ball cock is closed.
The FKV filling valve must not be used to empty the tank.
Type FV: OPEN
Optionel with intermediate filler valve: In this case, the sealing cone is pressed with a pin via
an intermediate filler valve. Make sure that this pin is correctly adjusted in terms of length
as otherwise it could damage the filling valve. Maximum valve stroke: 11mm.
When the filling is complete, always replace the sealing cap of the filling valve by manually
turning it clockwise.
Risk of burning or fire

Do not use an open flame to check for leaks.
Check all of the connections for leak-tightness!
Spray all connections with foam-producing substance according to EN 14291
(e.g. leak detector spray, part no. 02 601 00).
Check the leak-tightness by seeing whether bubbles form in
the foam-producing substance.

If more bubbles form, re-tighten the connections (see ASSEMBLY). If
you cannot stop the leaks, you must not use the product.

MAINTENANCE
Upon proper ASSEMBLY and OPERATION, the product is maintenance-free.
REPLACEMENT
If there is any sign of wear or if the product or parts thereof are damaged, it must be replaced.
When the product has been replaced, observe the steps ASSEMBLY, LEAK TESTING and
START-UP.
RESTORATION
If the actions described in TROUBLESHOOTING do not lead to a proper restart and if there is
no dimensioning problem, the product must be sent to the manufacturer to be checked. Our
warranty does not apply in cases of unauthorised interference.
SHUT-DOWN
Close the cylinder valve and then the shut-off devices of the consumer unit. When the system
is not used, all valves must be kept closed.
DISPOSAL
To protect the environment, our products may not be disposed of along with
household waste.
The product must be disposed of via a local collection station or a recycling station.

Las válvulas de llenado están fabricadas como válvula doble de retención con junta cónica
interna y plato de retención metálico. El capuchón está unido con la carcasa de forma
inseparable por medio de un lazo de sujeción de plástic. Con el capuchón enroscado, por
medio de una junta de asiento blanda se obtiene una hermeticidad adicional. La conexión
cuenta además con una abertura de descarga que actúa al a ojar el capuchón.
Tipo FVK: Esta válvula de llenado dispone de un grifo esférico integrado como dispositivo de
cierre manual. La fase líquida incluida en el alojamiento de la válvula entre la junta cónica y el
grifo esférico se desvía con seguridad al recipiente de gas líquido a través de un equipo de
expansión.
Tipo FV: El plato de retención está unido con la junta cónica por medio de un pasador y se
abre cuando se presiona la válvula de llenado.
A causa de un punto de rotura predeterminado, la conexión de tubo flexible de llenado (entre
400 y 500 Nm) se rompe en caso de errores de rellenado, por lo que la válvula doble de
retención se cierra automáticamente y, de esta manera, se evitan los escapes de gas.
