information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before
using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the
safety information and instructions for use.

Intended use
This product is suitable for measuring pH value of drinking
water, aquariums, pond water, pool water, paddling pools,
milk, beer, and similar liquids.
The product is only intended for use in private households,
and not intended for commercial use.
This product is only for indoor use.
NOTE: The tested liquids are not suitable for drinking
anymore. The tested liquids are also not suitable
for any other purpose. Dispose of the tested liquids
immediately and according to local regulations.

Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all
the operating and safety instructions.
Please include all documentation when passing this product
on to others.
This product can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

Before use: Check the product for damage. If the
product is damaged, do not use it.
Do not expose the product to moisture. Otherwise the
product could be damaged.
Unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the
product is not allowed for reasons of safety.
Care should be taken while handling warmer/hot,
acidic, and alkaline liquids.
Wear suitable personal protective equipment (safety
gloves, goggles, apron).
Only measure in well-ventilated environments.
Do not turn on the product immediately after it has
been taken from a cold into a warm environment. The
condensation that forms might destroy your product.
Allow the product to reach ambient temperature
before switching it on.

Do not leave packaging materials unattended.
Packaging materials can be a dangerous plaything for
children.
Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures,
strong vibrations or strong mechanical stress.
Do not open or dismantle the housing.
The electrode probe and electrode parts are protected
within the electrode housing. Do not touch these
components.
Do not leave the buffer powder packs or buffer
solutions unattended.
Buffer powder packs or buffer solutions could be
swallowed by children or pets.
If swallowed, drink plenty of water and seek
immediate medical attention.

Avoid direct contact of buffer powder or buffer
solutions with the skin or the eyes. In case of contact,
wash the affected skin area with soap and a lot of
cold water. In case of contact with the eyes, wash the
eyes under running water for about 15 minutes.

recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not

and / or open them. Overheating, fire or
bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into
fire or water.

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures, which could affect batteries /
rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked,
avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes
with the chemicals!
Rinse immediately the affected areas with fresh water
and seek medical attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or
damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries
can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear
suitable protective gloves at all times if such an
event occurs.
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the
product will not be used for a longer period.

Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according
to polarity marks (+) and (–) on the battery /
rechargeable battery and the product.
Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable bat-
tery and in the battery compartment before inserting!
Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries
from the product immediately.

compartment cover.
Remove the old battery by lifting it out with a small
screwdriver.
Insert the new battery (CR2032) under the
metal contacts on the edge, with the + polarity
facing outwards. Push the battery into the battery
compartment

Reattach the battery compartment cover
