2 Safety and installation instructions

Please observe the prescribed safety instructions and stipulations from the

vehicle manufacturer and service workshops.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage in the following cases:

• Damage to the product resulting from mechanical influences

• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer

• Use for purposes other than those described in the operating manual

Please note the following:

• If faults or disturbances occur, consult a specialist workshop immediately.

• Before starting your journey, check that the wall window is locked properly.

• Before starting your journey, check the wall window for damage (such as tension

cracks in the acrylic glass).

• Do not open the wall window in strong wind or rain.

• Close the wall window if it rains or snows.

• Do not leave the vehicle with the wall window open.

NOTE

If you do not have sufficient technical knowledge for installing the

components in vehicles, you should have a specialist install the wall win-

dow in your vehicle.

WARNING!

Always keep the vent window closed while driving and while on public

roads.

3Scope of delivery

4Accessories

Available as accessories (not included in the scope of delivery):

5 Intended use

The S7P wall window is suitable for installing in delivery vans with curved exterior

surfaces (radius of 5000 mm). The wall windows are designed as vent windows.

The S7P window is designed for a wall thickness of 22 – 43 mm.

6 Instructions before installation

➤ Before installation, check the wall thickness of your vehicle. Consult the vehicle

manufacturer if you have any questions.

You need securing clips (not supplied) to suit the thickness of the wall (see

chapter “Preparing the installation” on page 5).

➤ With sheet metal coverings, the wall thickness must be increased to at least

22 mm by adding a suitable mounting frame (e.g. wooden frame).

➤ When choosing the installation location, observe the following:

– Adjoining components (attachment and reinforcing parts), cables and

cabinets in the vehicle interior must not get damaged when sawing the hole.

– Sufficient space needs to be available for installing the inner and outer frames.

– Only install the wall window on curved wall surfaces with a radius of

5000 mm.

➤ Measure wall thickness W (A)

If the wall thickness is less than 22 mm, then you must add to the wall section

with a suitable mounting frame (B)

➤ Determine the type of clip by referring to the following table:

➤ Seal the window frame with a flexible non-hardening sealing compound (e.g.

SikaLastomer-710).

➤ Determine the number of clips by referring to the following table:

➤ Glue the mounting frame to the vehicle wall, e.g. with double-sided adhesive

tape.

➤ Insert the window from the outside in the centre of the wall section.

➤ Press the window slightly so that the packing compound spreads out.

➤ Fasten the window using the fastening bolts and the appropriate securing clips.

Firstly fasten the clips on the left and right at the bottom.

➤ Remove the protective film from both sides of the window glass.

➤ After installing, check the wall window works properly.

8 Using the window

8.1 Using S7P

Opening the window (fig. 7)

➤ Proceed as follows for each rotary bolt:

Turn the rotary bolt by 90°.tary

➤ Tilt the window pane outwards to the desired opening angle.

Closing the window (fig. 7)

➤ Close the window slowly.

➤ Proceed as follows for each rotary bolt:

Turn the rotary bolt by 90°.

9 Maintaining and cleaning the window

➤ Put talcum powder on the rubber seal.

NOTE

If a window frame guide rail does not fit evenly against the vehicle wall,

then you must use more clips, where required, than are specified in the

table.

NOTICE!

Do not use sharp or hard objects for cleaning as these may damage the

window glass.

Only use cleaning agents that are approved by the manufacturer. Acrylic

glass polish (item no. 9600000128), special polishing cloth (item

no.9600000130) and acrylic glass cleaning agent (item

no.9600000129).

Beachten Sie die vom Fahrzeughersteller und vom Kfz-Handwerk vorge-

schriebenen Sicherheitshinweise und Auflagen!

Der Hersteller übernimmt in folgenden Fällen keine Haftung für Schäden:

• Beschädigungen am Produkt durch mechanische Einflüsse

• Veränderungen am Produkt ohne ausdrückliche Genehmigung vom Hersteller

• Verwendung für andere als die in der Anleitung beschriebenen Zwecke

Beachten Sie folgende Hinweise:

• Suchen Sie umgehend eine Fachwerkstatt auf, wenn Fehler oder Störungen auf-

treten.

• Kontrollieren Sie vor Fahrtantritt, ob das Wandfenster ordnungsgemäß verriegelt

ist.

• Kontrollieren Sie vor Fahrtantritt das Wandfenster auf Beschädigungen (z. B.

Spannungsrisse im Acrylglas).

• Öffnen Sie das Wandfenster nicht bei starken Wind oder Regen.

• Schließen Sie das Wandfenster bei Regen und Schneefall.

• Verlassen Sie das Fahrzeug nicht bei geöffnetem Wandfenster.

3 Lieferumfang

HINWEIS

Wenn Sie nicht über ausreichende technische Kenntnisse zum Einbauen

von Komponenten in Fahrzeugen verfügen, sollten Sie sich das Wand-

fenster von einem Fachmann ins Fahrzeug einbauen lassen.

WARNUNG!

Halten Sie das Ausstellfenster während der Fahrt und während des Auf-

enthalts im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr unbedingt geschlossen.

Als Zubehör erhältlich (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten):

5 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Das Wandfenster S7P ist geeignet zum Einbau in Kastenwagen mit gewölbter

Außenfläche (Radius von 5000 mm). Die Wandfenster sind als Ausstellfenster ausge-

führt.

Das S7P-Fenster ist für Wandstärken von 22 – 43 mm ausgelegt.

6 Hinweise vor dem Einbau

➤ Prüfen Sie vor der Montage die Wandstärke lhres Fahrzeugs. Bei Fragen wenden

Sie sich an den Fahrzeughersteller.

Sie benötigen Halteklammern (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) passend zur

Wandstärke (siehe Kapitel „Einbau vorbereiten“ auf Seite 12).

➤ Bei Blechbeplankungen muss die Wandstärke durch einen geeigneten

Montagerahmen (z. B. Holzrahmen) auf mindestens 22 mm aufgedoppelt

werden.

➤ Beachten Sie bei der Wahl des Einbauortes:

– Angrenzende Bauteile (Befestigungs- und Verstärkungsteile), Leitungen und

Einbauschränke im Fahrzeuginnenraum dürfen beim Sägen des Ausschnitts

nicht beschädigt werden.

– Es muss ausreichend Platz zum Montieren von Innen- und Außenrahmen vor-

handen sein.

– Montieren Sie das Wandfenster nur an gewölbten Wandflächen mit einem

Radius von 5000 mm.

6.2 Einbau vorbereiten

Ergänzung zu Abb. 3

➤ Messen Sie Ihre Wandstärke W (A).

Wenn die Wandstärke geringer als 22 mm ist, müssen Sie den Wandausschnitt

durch einen geeigneten Montagerahmen aufdoppeln (B).

➤ Bestimmen Sie den Klammertyp entsprechend folgender Tabelle:

➤ Prüfen Sie, ob das Fenster rundum genügend Abstand (ca. 1 bis 2,5 mm) zum

Wandausschnitt hat.

➤ Reinigen Sie den Wandausschnitt außen im Montagebereich.

dichtstoff (z. B. SikaLastomer-710) ab.

➤ Bestimmen Sie die Anzahl der Klammern entsprechend folgender Tabelle:

Siehe Abb. 6

➤ Kleben Sie den Montagerahmen auf die Fahrzeugwand, z. B. mit doppelseiti-

gem Klebeband.

➤ Setzen Sie das Fenster von außen mittig in den Wandausschnitt ein.

➤ Drücken Sie das Fenster leicht an die Wand, damit sich die Dichtmasse verteilt.

➤ Verschrauben Sie das Fenster mit den Befestigungsschrauben und den

passenden Halteklammern.

Befestigen Sie als erstes die Klammern rechts und links unten.

➤ Ziehen Sie die PE-Schutzfolie innen und außen vom Fensterglas ab.

➤ Prüfen Sie nach der Montage die Funktion des Wandfensters.

Fenster öffnen (Abb. 7)

➤ Gehen Sie für jeden Drehriegel wie folgt vor:

Drehen Sie den Drehriegel um 90°.

➤ Schwenken Sie die Scheibe nach außen, bis der gewünschte Öffnungswinkel

erreicht ist.

Fenster schließen (Abb. 7)

➤ Schließen Sie das Fenster langsam.

➤ Gehen Sie für jeden Drehriegel wie folgt vor:

Drehen Sie den Drehriegel um 90°.

9 Fenster pflegen und reinigen

➤ Pflegen Sie die Gummidichtungen mit Talkum.

HINWEIS

Falls ein Schenkel des Fensterrahmens nicht gleichmäßig an der Wagen-

wand anliegt, müssen Sie dort gegebenenfalls mehr Klammern ver-

wenden, als in der Tabelle angeben.

ACHTUNG!

Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder harten Mittel zur Reinigung , da dies

zu einer Beschädigung des Fensterglases führen kann.

Verwenden Sie ausschließlich die vom Hersteller empfohlenen

Reinigungsmittel: Acrylglas-Politur (Art.-Nr. 9600000128), Spezial-

Politurtuch (Art.-Nr.9600000130) und Acrylglas-Reiniger

(Art.-Nr.9600000129).

2 Consignes de sécurité et instructions de

montage

Respectez les consignes de sécurité et autres prescriptions imposées par

le fabricant du véhicule et par les professionnels de l’automobile !

Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour des dommages dans les cas suivants :

• des influences mécaniques ayant endommagé le matériel

• des modifications apportées au produit sans autorisation explicite de la part du

fabricant

• une utilisation différente de celle décrite dans la notice

Tenez compte des remarques suivantes :

• Contactez immédiatement une entreprise spécialisée si des pannes ou des

dysfonctionnements surviennent.

• Vérifiez avant le départ que la fenêtre est correctement verrouillée.

• Avant le départ, vérifiez que la fenêtre ne présente aucun dommage (p.ex. des

fissures dues aux tensions dans le plexiglas).

• N'ouvrez pas la fenêtre en cas de fort vent ou de forte pluie.

• Fermez la fenêtre en cas de pluie et de neige.

• Ne quittez pas le véhicule en laissant la fenêtre ouverte.

REMARQUE

Si vos connaissances techniques en matière d'installation d'éléments

dans un véhicule sont insuffisantes, nous vous recommandons de faire

installer la fenêtre par un spécialiste.

AVERTISSEMENT !

Gardez toujours la baie projetable fermée pendant le trajet et pendant

le séjour sur les routes publiques.

5Usage conforme

La fenêtre S7P est destinée au montage dans les camionnettes à surface extérieure

incurvée (rayon de 5 000 mm). La fenêtre est une baie projetable.

La fenêtre S7P est conçue pour des épaisseurs de paroi de 22 – 43 mm.

6 Consignes préalables au montage

➤ Avant le montage, veuillez vérifier l'épaisseur de la paroi de votre véhicule. Pour

de plus amples informations, veuillez vous adresser au constructeur de votre

véhicule.

Vous avez besoin de pinces de maintien (non comprises dans la livraison)

correspondant à l'épaisseur de la paroi (voir chapitre « Préparation au

montage », page 19).

➤ En cas de protections métalliques, l'épaisseur de paroi doit être doublée par un

cadre de montage adapté (p. ex. cadre en bois) d'au moins 22 mm.

➤ Pour le choix de l'emplacement de montage, tenez compte des remarques

suivantes :

– Les éléments adjacents (pièces de fixation et de renfort), les lignes électriques

et les meubles de l'habitacle du véhicule ne doivent pas être endommagés

lors du sciage de la découpe.

– Vous devez disposer d'assez de place pour monter les cadres intérieur et

extérieur.

– Montez la fenêtre uniquement sur des parois incurvées d'un rayon de

5 000 mm.

➤ Mesurez l'épaisseur de la paroi W (A).

Si l'épaisseur de la paroi est inférieure à 22 mm, vous devez doubler la découpe

de toit par un cadre de montage adapté (B).

➤ Déterminez le type de pince selon le tableau suivant :
