Battery testing
źPosition the charger so that it is not possible to
pinch or slip the cables, or get device stucked
(eg inaccessible engine compartments).
źKeep the charger away from the radiator, belts and
other moving parts of the engine compartment,
even when they are turned off.
źFirst, clarify which battery terminal is positive and
which is grounded, and observe the correct battery
polarity when connecting clips (charger clips must
match the terminals of the battery).
źConnect negative clip to the (-) terminal and then
positive clip to the (+) terminal.
źA battery test will be performed with the status
displayed on the charger. If the battery is severely
discharged (less than 5V). Charger will not read
any state of the battery charge level.
źWhen the battery is ready (fully charged)
disconnect clips (+ and then - pole).
Battery charging
źPosition the charger so that it is not possible to

(eg inaccessible engine compartments).
źKeep the charger away from the radiator, belts and
other moving parts of the engine compartment,
even when they are turned off.
źFirst, clarify which battery terminal is positive and
which is grounded, and observe the correct battery
polarity when connecting clips (charger clips must
match the terminals of the battery).
źConnect negative clip to the (-) terminal and then
positive clip to the (+) terminal.
źUse the MODE button to select the appropriate
charging mode.
źAfter that connect the charger to the power supply
using 230V cable.
źThe charger evaluates the condition of the battery
and starts the charging process. Charging is
controlled by a microprocessor, which automatically
adjusts the charging parameters.
źWhen the battery is fully charged, charger will
automatically switch to maintenance pulse mode.
źWhen the battery is ready (fully charged),
disconnect the charger from 230V power supply
and disconnect clips (+ and then - pole).
źIf the cell caps were unscrewed during charging,
they can now be screwed back on again.
Charging modes
źAfter connecting the battery using clips (without
connection of charger to the 230V mains), it is
possible to switch between the individual modes
(MOTO / Start-Stop / STD GEL and LifePO4
battery) by pressing the MODE button.
źSelected mode will be represented on the display
and the battery will start to get charged after
pluging the charger to 230V mains.
źIf the faulty battery symbol lights up, it means that
the battery is defective and cannot be charged.
źIf the bad connection symbol lights up, it means
that the battery is connected wrong.
źWhen the charging is complete, the charger
automatically switches to the maintenance pulse
mode, in which it starts charging the battery in a
targeted pulse mode to prolong its life.
Caution:
Heavily discharged and damaged car batteries cannot
be charged with this charger. If the 12V car battery
voltage drops below 5V, the microprocessor in the
charger will mark the battery as faulty and will not
charge it!
