Preparation

• A smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth 4.2 or above.

• Download the SwitchBot app

• Create a SwitchBot account and sign in

• (Optional) If you intend to use the Cloud Service feature, you need to set up a

SwitchBot Hub Mini (sold separately) and connect your phone to the internet

Getting Started

Remove the Battery Case. Install two AAA batteries into the battery box following the “+”

and “-“ signs. Then put the Battery Case back.

Open the SwitchBot app and sign in.

On the app, tap the "+" icon on the top right of the homepage. Tap the "Motion Sensor"

icon and follow the instructions to complete the setup.

Safety Information

• Keep the device away from humid or hot environments.

• Remove the batteries when not used for long period of time.

• Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.

• Do not use any other batteries than those recommended.

Detection Range

Light Sensor

Light Sensor is used for detecting whether it is bright or dark in the target environment.

You can define the threshold for being bright or being dark in the app. Navigate to the

Settings page of Motion Sensor in the app for more information.

How to Use

Reset Button facing up

The recommended height to install Motion Sensor is 1.2m-2m to the ground. The

detection range will be reduced when it is placed lower than 1.2m. There will be

detection blind spots when it is placed higher than 2m.

Reset Button facing down (for Pet Owners)

If you are a pet owner, it is recommended to install Motion Sensor to a spot 0.1-0.2m

higher than your pet(s), with the Reset Button facing down. You can also install Motion

Sensor to a spot slightly lower than your chest to prevent false alarms triggered by your

pets.

Place Motion Sensor without the Base

Place Motion Sensor directly on a table or shelf or stick it to a flat surface using the 3M

Sticker.

Note: Make sure the Lens is facing towards the desired area to be detected and it is

placed close to the edge of the table or shelf.

Place Motion Sensor with the Base

Mount the Base to the back or the bottom of Motion Sensor. The Base can be attached

to an iron surface or a magnet.

You can also stick the Base to a flat surface using the 3M Sticker. After Motion Sensor is

properly installed, tilt it to a desired angle.

Note: Make sure the Lens is facing towards the desired area to be detected and it is

placed close to the edge of the table or shelf.

Tips for applying the 3M Sticker

Make sure the target surface is dry and clean. Apply pressure to Motion Sensor for 60

seconds after installation. Keep it away from any heat source such as light bulbs.

Battery Replacement, Firmware Update and Factory

Reset

Battery Replacement

Remove the Battery Case. Follow the "+" and "-" marks, replace the old batteries with

new ones. Put the Battery Case back.

Firmware Update

Make sure you have the up to date firmware by upgrading in time.

Factory Reset

Long press the Reset Button for 15 seconds or until the LED Indicator Light is on.

Note: After the device is reset, all settings will be set to the default values and the activity

logs will be erased.

Q&A

Q: It is not sensitive within the detection range set during high temperature.

A: When the room temperature reaches 97°F (36°C), it is very similar to the human body

temperature. Motion Sensor will be less sensitive in this case. Please cool your room by

turning on the AC or fan.

Q: There is a lot of false alarms.

A: Adjust the angle of Motion Sensor to avoid window area, heat sources, and any areas

with constantly moving objects.

Q: How to enable Cloud Service?

A: You need to purchase a SwitchBot Hub Mini (sold separately) and set it up under your

account. Then navigate to the app homepage. If you see a cloud icon showing up on the

Motion Sensor device card, it means it is being scanned by Hub Mini. Navigate to the

Settings page of Motion Sensor and you can enable Cloud Service from there.

Příprava

• Chytrý telefon nebo tablet s rozhraním Bluetooth 4.2 nebo vyšším.

• Stažení aplikace SwitchBot

• Vytvoření účtu SwitchBot a přihlášení

• (Volitelné) Pokud chcete používat funkci Cloud Service, je třeba nastavit SwitchBot

Hub Mini (prodává se samostatně) a připojit telefon k internetu.

Začínáme

Vyjměte kryt baterie. Do bateriového pouzdra vložte dvě baterie AAA podle značek "+" a

"-". Poté vložte pouzdro na baterie zpět.

Otevřete aplikaci SwitchBot a přihlaste se.

V aplikaci klepněte na ikonu "+" vpravo nahoře na domovské stránce. Klepněte na ikonu

"Senzor pohybu" a podle pokynů dokončete nastavení.

Bezpečnostní informace

• Přístroj uchovávejte mimo vlhké nebo horké prostředí.

• Pokud se baterie delší dobu nepoužívají, vyjměte je.

• Nepokoušejte se zařízení rozebírat, opravovat nebo upravovat.

• Nepoužívejte jiné než doporučené baterie.

Světelný senzor

Světelný senzor slouží k detekci, zda je v cílovém prostředí světlo nebo tma. V aplikaci

můžete definovat prahovou hodnotu pro jas nebo tmu. Pro více informací přejděte na

stránku Nastavení snímače pohybu v aplikaci.

Jak používat

Tlačítko Reset směrem nahoru

Doporučená výška pro instalaci snímače pohybu je 1,2-2 m od země. Při umístění níže

než 1,2 m se sníží dosah detekce. Při umístění výše než 2 m dojde k detekci slepých míst.

Tlačítko Reset směrem dolů (pro majitele domácích zvířat)

Pokud jste majitelem domácího mazlíčka, doporučujeme nainstalovat snímač pohybu na

místo o 0,1-0,2 m výše, než je váš domácí mazlíček (mazlíčci), s tlačítkem Reset směrem

dolů. Snímač pohybu můžete také nainstalovat na místo o něco níže, než je váš hrudník,

abyste zabránili falešným poplachům vyvolaným vašimi domácími mazlíčky.

Umístění snímače pohybu bez základny

Umístěte snímač pohybu přímo na stůl nebo polici nebo jej přilepte na rovný povrch

pomocí samolepky 3M.

Poznámka: Ujistěte se, že objektiv směřuje k požadované detekované oblasti a že je

umístěn blízko okraje stolu nebo police.

Umístění snímače pohybu pomocí základny

Připevněte základnu k zadní nebo spodní části snímače pohybu. Základnu lze připevnit k

železnému povrchu nebo magnetu.

Základnu můžete také přilepit na rovný povrch pomocí samolepky 3M. Po správné

instalaci snímače pohybu jej naklopte do požadovaného úhlu.

Poznámka: Ujistěte se, že objektiv směřuje k požadované detekované oblasti a že je

umístěn blízko okraje stolu nebo police.
