CLEANING THE GREASE FILTER
Clean the grease filter once a month and also
whenever the grease filter indicator flashes
(Extraction speed indicator

).
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters: push the handles
back (
a
), and then downwards. (
b
).
3.
After cleaning the grease filters refit in reverse
order, making sure the entire extraction
surface is covered.
Reset grease filter saturation indicator:
Press the extraction OFF button and the light OFF
button simultaneously until the beeper sounds.
The grease filter saturation indicator will stop
flashing.
REPLACING BULBS
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Remove the burnt-out bulb. Use only 20W max
halogen bulbs.
3.
Fit the new bulb, ensuring that the bulb
contacts are correctly inserted in the fitting on
the hood.
FITTING OR RENEWING THE CARBON
FILTER
Renew the grease filter every 6 months and also
whenever the grease filter saturation indicator
flashes (Extractor speed indicator
3
).
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters (
a
,
b
).
3.
If not already installed, fit the caron filter at the
rear and secure with the clips (
c
) on the filter.
4.
If the carbon filter is already installed and
requires renewing, press the filter release
buttons (
c
) and pull the filter downwards.
Reset grease filter saturation indicator:
Press the extraction OFF and ON button
simultaneously until the beeper sounds. The
grease filter saturation indicator will stop flashing.
