PART 1: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1) Before connecting the appliance to apower socket check that the

technical details on the appliance label match the electrical voltage

in the socket.

2) Only plug the appliance into acorrectly grounded socket.

3) This appliance is designed for use indoors. Donot use this appliance

for commercial purposes.

4) Donot use the appliance in industrial surroundings or outdoors!

5) Donot use the appliance for any other than its intended purpose.

6) Donot place the appliance on or near an electric or gas stove or

other sources of heat.

7) Donot place the appliance at the edge of autility surface or on an

unstable surface. The appliance must be located on astable and

even surface.

8) After connecting the appliance into an electric power supply the

cooking surface and the outer surface of the appliance begins to

heat up. Do not touch the hot surface. To close or open the top

cooking plate use the thermally insulated handle and for removing

the sandwich use awooden or heat resistant plastic spatula.

9) Allow adequate air circulation around the appliance when in use.

Donot place any objects on the heated surface of the appliance.

10) Always turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power

socket if you leave it without supervision or if you will not be using

it and before cleaning.

11) Allow the appliance to fully cool down before moving, cleaning or

storing it.

12) Clean the grilling surfaces after each use, see the chapter Cleaning

and maintenance.

13) To avoid any injury by electrical shock, donot clean the appliance

under running water and donot submerge in water or any liquid.

14) Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with water

or moisture or heated surface.

15) Donot disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling

on the power cord. This could damage the power cord or the power

socket. Disconnect the cord from the power socket by gently pulling

out the plug of the power cord.

16) If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at atechnical service

centre. It is forbidden to use the appliance if it has adamaged power

cord or plug.

17) To avoid the danger of injury by electrical shock, donot repair the

appliance yourself or make any adjustments to it. Have all repairs or

adjustments of the appliance done at an authorised service centre.

Tampering with the appliance during the warranty period may void

the warranty policy.

18) This appliance may be used by children 8years

of age and older and by persons with physical or

mental impairments or by inexperienced persons

if they are properly supervised or have been

informed about how to use of the product in asafe

manner and understand the potential dangers.

Children must not play with the appliance. This

appliance may be cleaned by children 8 years

of age and older if they are properly supervised.

Keep this appliance and the power cord out of

reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

CAUTION:

This appliance is not designed to be controlled using aprogrammed

device, external timer switch or remote control.

ATTENTION: HOT SURFACE

If the appliance is switched on, the temperature of accessible

surfaces may be higher. Do not touch the hot surface. This

could cause skin burns. Use the handle to open and close the

oven door. Use an oven mitt to handle heated pots and pans

or accessories (baking pans, grill rack or rotisserie rod).

PART 2: DESCRIPTION OF THE SANDWICH MAKER

1 Green indicator light

PART 3: BEFORE FIRST USE

1) Remove the Sandwich Maker from the packing material.

2) Wipe the cooking plates with awet cloth or sponge and dry completely with apaper towel or dry cloth.

3) Connect the Sandwich Maker to the power supply and leave it turned on for at least 5–7 minutes to

dissipate any odour.

NOTE:

When ﬁ rst turned on, there may be light smoke emitted. This is due to the heating of internal components

and it will pass in amoment.

PART 4: USING THE SANDWICH MAKER

1) Coat the cooking plates (6) with butter or cooking oil.

2) Connect the Sandwich Maker to apower supply. Both indicator lights on the top panel will light up. Red

indicator light (2) indicates connection into the electric power supply. Green indicator light (1) indicates

heating of the cooking plates.

3) Close the Sandwich Maker for more efﬁ cient pre-heating of the cooking plates.

4) While the cooking plates are heating up, prepare the sandwich. For one sandwich you will need two slices

of toasting bread and ﬁ lling. Place the ﬁ lling exactly between the slices of bread. Too much of the ﬁ lling

may make it hard to close the Sandwich Maker. In this case it may be necessary to remove some of the

ﬁ lling. Donot use force to close the Sandwich Maker, this may lead to adamage.

5) When the cooking plates are heated to the operating temperature, the Green indicator light (1) is turned off.

NOTE:

The heating indicator light turns on and off. This signalizes that the operating temperature of cooking plates

is maintained.

Open the Sandwich Maker and place one or two sandwiches on the bottom plate. Using the handle (3)

close and press the top cooking plate to the bottom plate. Secure handles (3) with the lock (4).

6) After 2 to 3 minutes release the lock (4), open the top plate and remove the sandwiches or continue cooking

if necessary. To remove sandwiches use awooden or heat resistant plastic spatula. Donot use afork or knife

or anything made of metal. Otherwise the non-stick coating may be damaged.

NOTE:

The cooking time depends on the type of bread, ﬁ lling and your taste.

7) Before cooking another sandwich, close the Sandwich Maker and wait until the Green indicator light (1) is

turned off.

8) After you ﬁ nish using the Sandwich Maker, disconnect the power cord from the el. power supply.

PART 5: CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning the appliance disconnect it from the el. power supply and allow it to cool down.

• Clean the non-stick surface of the cooking plates after each use. This will prevent abuild-up of burnt pieces

of food residue. To clean, use amoist, soft cloth. If some burnt food residue is left on the cooking plates,

sprinkle with water and mild dish detergent. Wipe clean afterwards with aclean, moist cloth.

TIP:

The cooking plates are easier to clean if lukewarm.

• Wipe outer surface of the Sandwich Maker with asoft wet cloth and dry completely off.

• Never rinse the Sandwich Maker under running water or submerge it in water or another liquid.

• Donot use abrasive cleaning products, petrol or solvents for cleaning.

PART 6: STORAGE

• If the cooking plates are cold, close the top plate and secure the handles with the lock. Wind the power cord

around the bracket at the bottom of the Sandwich Maker.

• Store the device in aclean, dry place out of reach of children.

TIP:

Storing the Sandwich Maker vertically will save space in your kitchen.

PART 8: TIPS FOR PREPARING DELICIOUS SANDWICHES

• The basic ingredient for the ﬁ lling can be meat, ﬁ sh, cheese, smoked meat, sliced cooked egg or fruit and

vegetables, like banana, apple, pineapple, tomato, cucumber, onion or mushrooms. Donot use excessive

amount of ﬁ lling, to prevent spilling on the cooking plates.

• The ﬁ lling can be ﬂ avoured with spices, herbs, mustard or ketchup.

• To achieve the golden crust colour, the bread can be coated with butter prior to cooking.

ING MATERIALS

Dispose of used packaging material at asite designated for waste in your municipality.

ČÁST 1: DŮLEŽITÉ BEZPEČNOSTNÍ POKYNY

1) Před připojením spotřebiče k síťové zásuvce se ujistěte, že se

shoduje nominální napětí uvedené na štítku spotřebiče selektrickým

napětím zásuvky.

2) Spotřebič připojujte pouze křádně uzemněné zásuvce.

3) Spotřebič je určen pro použití vdomácnosti. Nepoužívejte jej pro

komerční účely.

4) Nepoužívejte spotřebič vprůmyslovém prostředí nebo venku.

5) Nepoužívejte spotřebič kjiným účelům, než pro které je určen.

6) Spotřebič nepokládejte na elektrický nebo plynový vařič a jiné

zdroje tepla nebo do jejich blízkosti.

7) Spotřebič neumísťujte na okraj pracovní plochy nebo na nestabilní

povrchy. Spotřebič musí být vždy umístěn na rovném, suchém

astabilním povrchu.

8) Po připojení spotřebiče k zásuvce el. napětí dochází k zahřívání

pečících ploch avnějšího pláště spotřebiče. Nedotýkejte se zahřátého

povrchu. Pro přiklopení nebo odklopení horní pečící desky použijte

tepelně izolovanou rukojeť apro vyjmutí sendviče použijte dřevěnou

nebo žáruvzdornou plastovou obracečku.

9) Při provozu nechte okolo spotřebiče dostatečný prostor pro cirkulaci

vzduchu. Na zahřátý povrch spotřebiče neodkládejte žádné

předměty.

10) Spotřebič vždy odpojte od síťové zásuvky, pokud ho necháváte bez

dozoru nebo pokud ho nebudete používat apřed čištěním.

11) Před přemístěním, čištěním nebo uskladněním nechte spotřebič

vychladnout.

12) Po každém použití vyčistěte pečící desky, viz kapitola Čištění

aúdržba.

13) Abyste zabránili případnému úrazu elektrickým proudem, neomývejte

spotřebič pod tekoucí vodou ani jej neponořujte do vody nebo jiné

kapaliny.

14) Dbejte na to, aby se síťový kabel nedostal do kontaktu svodou nebo

vlhkostí nebo se zahřátým povrchem.

15) Neodpojujte spotřebič od síťové zásuvky tahem za síťový kabel.

Mohlo by dojít kpoškození síťového kabelu nebo síťové zásuvky.

Kabel odpojujte od zásuvky tahem za vidlici síťového kabelu.

16) Pokud je síťový kabel poškozen, jeho výměnu svěřte odbornému

servisu. Spotřebič s poškozeným síťovým kabelem nebo vidlicí

síťového kabelu je zakázáno používat.

17) Abyste se vyvarovali nebezpečí úrazu elektrickým proudem,

neopravujte spotřebič sami ani ho nijak neupravujte. Veškeré opravy

tohoto spotřebiče svěřte autorizovanému servisnímu středisku.

Zásahem do spotřebiče během platnosti záruky se vystavujete

riziku ztráty záručních plnění.

18) Tento spotřebič mohou používat děti ve věku

8 let a starší a osoby se sníženými fyzickými,

smyslovými nebo mentálními schopnostmi nebo

snedostatkem zkušeností aznalostí, pokud jsou

pod dozorem nebo byly poučeny o používání

spotřebiče bezpečným způsobem a rozumí

případným nebezpečím. Děti si se spotřebičem

nesmějí hrát. Čištění smějí provádět děti starší 8let

amusí být pod dozorem. Spotřebič ajeho síťový

kabel udržujte mimo dosah dětí mladších 8let.

UPOZORNĚNÍ:

Tento spotřebič není určen kovládání prostřednictvím programátoru,

vnějšího časového spínače nebo dálkového ovládání.

UPOZORNĚNÍ: HORKÝ POVRCH

Pokud je spotřebič v činnosti, teplota přístupných povrchů

může být vyšší. Nedotýkejte se zahřátého povrchu. Mohlo by

dojít k popálení pokožky. K otevření a zavření dvířek trouby

používejte madlo. Při manipulaci se zahřátým nádobím nebo

příslušenstvím (plech na pečení, grilovací rošt nebo jehla) pou-

žívejte kuchyňskou chňapku.

ČÁST 3: PŘED PRVNÍM POUŽITÍM

1) Sendvičovač vyjměte zobalového materiálu.

2) Pečící plochy otřete mírně navlhčeným hadříkem nebo houbičkou apoté je vytřete dosucha kuchyňským

papírem nebo suchým hadříkem.

3) Sendvičovač připojte kzásuvce el. napětí anechte jej spuštěný alespoň 5–7 minut naprázdno, aby se zbavil

případného zápachu.

POZNÁMKA:

Při prvním uvedení sendvičovače do provozu se může objevit slabý kouř. Tento jev je způsoben zahřátím

vnitřních komponent aza okamžik zmizí.

ČÁST 4: POUŽITÍ SENDVIČOVAČE

1) Pečící desky (6) potřete trochou másla nebo jedlého oleje.

2) Sendvičovač připojte kzásuvce el. napětí. Obě kontrolky na horním panelu se rozsvítí. Červená kontrolka

(2) signalizuje připojení ke zdroji el. energie. Zelená kontrolka (1) signalizuje zahřívání pečících desek.

3) Sendvičovač zavřete, aby se pečící desky rychleji zahřály.

4) Než se desky zahřejí, připravte si sendviče. Na jeden sendvič potřebujete dva plátky toastového chleba

anáplň. Náplň vkládejte přesně mezi plátky toastového chleba. Příliš velké množství náplně může způsobit,

že nebude možné sendvičovač zavřít. Vtakovém případě je třeba část náplně odebrat. Nepokoušejte se

sendvičovač zavřít násilím, jinak může dojít kjeho poškození.

5) Jakmile se pečící desky zahřejí na provozní teplotu, zelená kontrolka (1) zhasne.

POZNÁMKA:

Kontrolka zahřívání pečících desek se střídavě rozsvěcí azhasíná. Tím je signalizováno udržování provozní

teploty pečících desek.

Otevřete sendvičovač a na spodní pečící desku položte jeden nebo dva sendviče. Pomocí rukojeti (3)

přiklopte apřitiskněte horní pečící desku ke spodní desce. Rukojeti (3) zajistěte zámkem (4).

6) Asi po 2 až 3 minutách odjistěte zámek (4), odklopte horní desku a sendviče buď vyjměte, nebo

v případě potřeby dobu zapékání prodlužte. K vyjmutí sendvičů použijte dřevěnou nebo žáruvzdornou

plastovou obracečku. Nepoužívejte nůž nebo vidličku ani jiné kovové předměty. Mohlo by dojít kpoškození

nepřilnavého povrchu.

POZNÁMKA:

Doba zapékání závisí na druhu chleba, náplně avaší chuti.

7) Před zapečením dalších sendvičů sendvičovač zavřete avyčkejte, až zhasne zelená kontrolka (1).

8) Po ukončení používání odpojte sendvičovač od zásuvky el. napětí.

ČÁST 5: ČIŠTĚNÍ AÚDRŽBA

• Před čištěním odpojte sendvičovač od zásuvky el. napětí anechte jej zchladnout.

• Nepřilnavý povrch pečících desek vyčistěte po každém použití. Zabráníte tím vrstvení připečených zbytků

potravin. Kčištění použijte mírně navlhčenou, měkkou textilii. Pokud na deskách zůstaly připečené zbytky

potravin, pokapejte je roztokem vody aneutrálního kuchyňského saponátu. Po aplikaci saponátu otřete

desky čistou, navlhčenou textilií.

TIP:

Pečící desky se vám budou lépe čistit, pokud budou vlažné.

• Vnější plášť sendvičovače otřete mírně navlhčenou, měkkou textilií apoté vytřete dosucha.

• Sendvičovač neoplachujte pod tekoucí vodou ani jej neponořujte do vody nebo jiné tekutiny.

• Kčištění nepoužívejte abrazivní čisticí prostředky, benzín nebo ředidla.

ČÁST 6: SKLADOVÁNÍ

• Jsou-li pečící desky vychladlé, přiklopte horní desku azámkem zajistěte rukojeti. Síťový kabel oviňte kolem

držáku ve spodní části sendvičovače.

• Sendvičovač uložte na suché, čisté místo mimo dosah dětí.

TIP:

Uložením sendvičovače do svislé polohy šetříte místo ve vaší kuchyni.
