Removing and washing the grease filter -
Fig. 1
1.
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters:
a
- push the handles backwards
b
- and then downwards.
3.
After cleaning the grease filter, remount in reverse
order ensuring the entire extraction surface is covered.
Fitting or renewing the carbon filter - Fig. 2:
1.
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters.
3.
If the carbon filters are already mounted (two filters
covering the motor protection grille) and need
renewing, turn the central handle anticlockwise until the
filters release.
4.
If the filters are not already fitted, locate one on each
side to cover both motor protection grilles, then turn
the central handle of the filters clockwise.
5.
Replace the grease filters.
Replacing the incandescent bulbs - Fig. 3.1
1.
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters.
3.
Remove the lighting unit from the clips that fix it to the
hood body.
4.
Remove the burnt-out bulb.
Replace using 40 W max E14 bulbs only.
5.
Refit the lighting unit and the grease filters.
Replacing the halogen bulbs - Fig. 3.2
1.
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
2.
Use a small screwdriver or any other suitable tool to
prise off (

) the lamp cover (

).
3.
Remove the burnt-out bulb.
Replace using 20 W max halogen bulbs only, making
sure not to touch them with your hands.
4.
Close the lighting unit (snap-close).
