SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE

The vacuum cleaner is suitable for the vacuuming of dust,

solid materials, with the exception of material that is hotter

than 60 °C.

The vacuum cleaner is suited for vacuuming of liquids.

This machine is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.

Pay attention to the country-speciﬁ c regulations, as well as

the speciﬁ cations of the material producer.

This product is designed for commercial use, for example

in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, oﬃ ces and

rental companies.

Dust containing asbestos must not be vacuumed.

Inﬂ ammable dust must not be vacuumed.

No inﬂ ammable or explosive solvents, material saturated

with solvent, dust that represents an explosion hazard,

liquids of any kind, thinner or material that is hotter than

60 °C are allowed to be vacuumed.

This would cause an explosion and ﬁ re hazard ! You are

not allowed to use the device in the vicinity of inﬂ ammable

gases or substances.

The user bears sole responsibility for any damage caused

by improper use.

Generally accepted accident prevention regulations and

the enclosed safety information must be observed.

The vacuum cleaner is suited for the

separation of dry, non-ﬂ ammable

dust, wood dust and slightly

dangerous dust with workplace limit

values > 1 mg/m³.

The vacuum cleaner is suited for the

separation of dry, non-ﬂ ammable dust

and wood dust. The particulate collective eﬃ ciency of the

HEPA ﬁ lter is 99.95%.

7. Only use the device with the

battery cover closed. Keep the

battery cover closed, even when

the battery is not inserted.

After closing the battery cover,

check to ensure the locking

mechanism on the cover has

engaged.

8. Do not point the nozzle, hose or

tube at people or animals.

9. Never sit or stand on the device.

10. Always set up the hose so there

is no danger of tripping.

11. Do not leave the device

unattended.

12. The vacuum cleaner should not

be used or stored outside.

13. IMPORTANT - This device must

only be used or stored indoors.

14. Acids, acetone and solvents can

corrode the device components.

15. Prior to any servicing work,

cleaning of the and after

and pull out the battery.

16. Steam cleaners and high-

pressure cleaners must not

be used to clean the vacuum

cleaner.

17. Mould contamination can result

if the device is not cleaned for

an extended period, especially

immediately after use.

18. Never open the device outdoors

during rain or storms.

19. Do not use the device in low

is steady.

22. If the extracted air is discharged

into the room, ensure there is

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE OF THE

CORDLESS VACUUM CLEANER

The precautions common to the vacuum cleaner has

been described. For the vacuum cleaner, follow further

precautions described below:

WARNING

1. Prevent the appliance from sucking in the following:

○ Generated spark during metal grinding or cutting.

○ High temperature things, such as lighted cigarette.

○ Inﬂ ammable substances (gasoline, thinner, benzine,

kerosene, paint, etc.), explosive substances

(nitroglycerine, etc.), combustible substances

(aluminum, zinc, magnesium, titanium, red

phosphorus, yellow phosphorus, celluloid, etc.)

○ Sharp things, such as nail and razor.

○ Wood chip, metal, stone, string, etc.

○ Solidiﬁ cation materials, such as cement powder and

toner, and conductive ﬁ ne dusts, such as metal powder

and carbon powder.

○ Foaming liquids, such as oil, boiling water, chemical

ﬂ uid, and detergent. Liquids, such as water and oil.

May cause ﬁ res or injuries.

2. Do not use the device with its suction opening or blow

port obstructed. The temperature of the motor may rise

abnormally, causing troubles such as deformation of

parts or motor burnout.

3. Do not topple the appliance or do not use it on its side.

May cause electric shock or failures.

4. Always charge the battery at a temperature of

0°C–40°C. A temperature of less than 0°C will result

in over charging which is dangerous. The battery

cannot be charged at a temperature higher than 40°C.

The most suitable temperature for charging is that of

20°C–25°C.

5. Do not use the charger continuously.

When one charging is completed, leave the charger for

about 15 minutes before the next charging of battery.

6. Do not allow foreign matter to enter the hole for

connecting the rechargeable battery.

7. Never disassemble the rechargeable battery and

charger.

8. Never short-circuit the rechargeable battery.

Shortcircuiting the battery will cause a great electric

current and overheat. It results in burn or damage to

the battery.

9. Do not dispose of the battery in ﬁ re. If the battery is

burnt, it may explode.

10. Bring the battery to the shop from which it was

purchased as soon as the post-charging battery life

becomes too short for practical use. Do not dispose of

the exhausted battery.

11. Do not insert objects into the air ventilation slots of the

charger.

Inserting metal objects or inﬂ ammables into the charger

air ventilation slots will result in electrical shock hazard

or a damaged charger.

12. When using this unit continuously, the unit may

overheat, leading to damage in the motor and switch.

Therefore, whenever the housing becomes hot, give

the tool a break for a while.

13. Make sure that the battery is installed ﬁ rmly. If it is at all

loose it could come oﬀ and cause an accident.

14. Do not use the product if the tool or the battery terminals

(battery mount) are deformed.

Installing the battery could cause a short circuit that

could result in smoke emission or ignition.

15. Keep the tool’s terminals (battery mount) free of swarf

and dust.

○ Prior to use, make sure that swarf and dust have not

collected in the area of the terminals.

○ During use, try to avoid swarf or dust on the tool from

falling on the battery.

○ When suspending operation or after use, do not leave

the tool in an area where it may be exposed to falling

swarf or dust.

Doing so could cause a short circuit that could result in

smoke emission or ignition.

16. Always use the tool and battery at temperatures

between -5°C and 40°C.

CAUTION ON LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

To extend the lifetime, the lithium-ion battery equips with

the protection function to stop the output.

In the cases of 1 to 3 described below, when using this

product, even if you are pulling the switch, the motor may

stop. This is not the trouble but the result of protection

function.

1. When the battery power remaining runs out, the motor

stops.

In such a case, charge it up immediately.

2. If the tool is overloaded, the motor may stop. In this

case, release the switch of tool and eliminate causes of

overloading. After that, you can use it again.

3. If the battery is overheated under overload work, the

battery power may stop.

In this case, stop using the battery and let the battery

cool. After that, you can use it again.

Furthermore, please heed the following warning and

caution.

WARNING

In order to prevent any battery leakage, heat generation,

smoke emission, explosion and ignition beforehand,

please be sure to heed the following precautions.

1. Make sure that swarf and dust do not collect on the

battery.

○ During work make sure that swarf and dust do not fall

on the battery.

○ Make sure that any swarf and dust falling on the power

tool during work do not collect on the battery.

○ Do not store an unused battery in a location exposed to

swarf and dust.

○ Before storing a battery, remove any swarf and dust

that may adhere to it and do not store it together with

metal parts (screws, nails, etc.).

2. Do not pierce battery with a sharp object such as a

nail, strike with a hammer, step on, throw or subject the

battery to severe physical shock.

3. Do not use an apparently damaged or deformed

battery.

4. Do not use the battery for a purpose other than those

speciﬁ ed.

5. If the battery charging fails to complete even when a

speciﬁ ed recharging time has elapsed, immediately

stop further recharging.

6. Do not put or subject the battery to high temperatures

or high pressure such as into a microwave oven, dryer,

or high pressure container.

7. Keep away from ﬁ re immediately when leakage or foul

odor are detected.

8. Do not use in a location where strong static electricity

generates.

9. If there is battery leakage, foul odor, heat generated,

discolored or deformed, or in any way appears abnormal

during use, recharging or storage, immediately remove

it from the equipment or battery charger, and stop use.

10. Do not immerse the battery or allow any ﬂ uids to ﬂ ow

inside. Conductive liquid ingress, such as water, can

cause damage resulting in ﬁ re or explosion. Store your

battery in a cool, dry place, away from combustible and

ﬂ ammable items. Corrosive gas atmospheres must be

avoided.

11. Do not give a strong shock to the switch panel or break

it. It may lead to a trouble.

CAUTION

1. If liquid leaking from the battery gets into your eyes,

do not rub your eyes and wash them well with fresh

clean water such as tap water and contact a doctor

immediately.

If left untreated, the liquid may cause eye-problems.

2. If liquid leaks onto your skin or clothes, wash well with

clean water such as tap water immediately.

There is a possibility that this can cause skin irritation.

3. If you ﬁ nd rust, foul odor, overheating, discolor,

deformation, and/or other irregularities when using the

battery for the ﬁ rst time, do not use and return it to your

supplier or vendor.

WARNING

If a conductive foreign matter enters in the terminal of

lithium ion battery, the battery may be shorted, causing

ﬁ re. When storing the lithium ion battery, obey surely the

rules of following contents.

○ Do not place conductive debris, nail and wires such as

iron wire and copper wire in the storage case.

○ To prevent shorting from occurring, load the battery in

the tool or insert securely the battery cover for storing

until the ventilator is not seen.

REGARDING LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

TRANSPORTATION

When transporting a lithium-ion battery, please observe

the following precautions.

WARNING

Notify the transporting company that a package contains a

lithium-ion battery, inform the company of its power output

and follow the instructions of the transportation company

when arranging transport.

○ Lithium-ion batteries that exceed a power output of 100

Wh are considered to be in the freight classiﬁ cation of

Dangerous Goods and will require special application

procedures.

○ For transportation abroad, you must comply with

international law and the rules and regulations of the

destination country.

UNPACKING

○ Carefully unpack the device.

○ Take out the accessories in tank before work.

CHARGING

Before using the power tool, charge the battery as follows.

1. Connect the charger’s power cord to the

receptacle.

When connecting the plug of the charger to a

receptacle, the pilot lamp will blink in red. (See Table 1)

2. Insert the battery into the charger.

Firmly insert the battery into the charger as shown in

Fig. 3 (on page 2).

3. Charging

When inserting a battery in the charger, charging will

commence and the pilot lamp will light continuously in

red.

When the battery becomes fully recharged, the pilot

lamp will blink in red. (See Table 1)

The indications of the pilot lamp will be as shown in

Table 1, according to the condition of the charger or

the rechargeable battery.

NOTE

*1 If the red lamp continues to blink even after the charger

has been attached, check to conﬁ rm that the battery

has been fully inserted.

Although charging will start once the battery has

cooled down even when left in situ, the best practice

is to remove the battery and allow it to cool down in a

shaded, well-ventilated location before charging.

*3 Malfunction in the battery or the charger

– Fully insert the battery.

– Check to conﬁ rm that no foreign matter is stuck

to the battery mount or terminals. If there are no

foreign objects, it is probable that the battery or

charger is malfunctioning. Take it to your authorized

Service Center.

○ If the pilot lamp does not blink in red even though the

charger cord is connected to the power, it indicates that

the protection circuit of the charger may be activated.

Remove the cord or plug from the power and then

connect it again after 5 minutes or so. If this does not

cause the pilot lamp to blink in red, please take the

charger to the HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.

○ When the battery charger has been continuously used,

the battery charger will be heated, thus constituting

the cause of the failures. Once the charging has been

bcompleted, give 5 minutes rest until the next charging.

NOTE

○ The recharging time may vary according to the ambient

temperature and power source voltage.

○ If charging takes a long time

– Charging will take longer at extremely low ambient

temperatures. Charge the battery in a warm

location (such as indoors).

– Do not block the air vent. Otherwise the interior will

overheat, reducing the charger's performance.

– If the cooling fan is not operating, contact a HiKOKI

Authorized Service Center for repairs.

4. Disconnect the charger’s power cord from the

receptacle.

5. Hold the charger ﬁ rmly and pull out the battery.

NOTE

Be sure to pull out the battery from the charger after

use, and then keep it.

Regarding electric discharge in case of new

batteries, etc.

As the internal chemical substance of new batteries

and batteries that have not been used for an extended

period is not activated, the electric discharge might be

low when using them the ﬁ rst and second time. This is a

temporary phenomenon, and normal time required for

recharging will be restored by recharging the batteries

2–3 times.

How to make the batteries perform longer.

(1) Recharge the batteries before they become completely

exhausted. When you feel that the power of the tool

becomes weaker, stop using the tool and recharge its

battery. If you continue to use the tool and exhaust the

electric current, the battery may be damaged and its

life will become shorter.

(2) Avoid recharging at high temperatures. A rechargeable

battery will be hot immediately after use. If such a

battery is recharged immediately after use, its internal

chemical substance will deteriorate, and the battery

life will be shortened. Leave the battery and recharge it

after it has cooled for a while.

PRIOR TO OPERATION

WARNING

Be sure to turn oﬀ the switch and disconnect the

battery.

1 Attaching the accessory storage (Fig. 4)

The bracket and two Philip's head screws are in the

tank.

Attach the bracket to the vacuum housing using the

screws.

2 Use a dust bag (Fig. 5)

(1) Switch oﬀ the device and open the clamps.

Remove the upper part of the device from the tank.

(2) Insert a dust bag in the tank.

Put the upper part back on and close the clamps.

Remove the dust bag for wet vacuuming.

3 Shoulder strap (Fig. 6)

If required, hook the shoulder strap into both eyelets

left and right of the device. Set the shoulder strap to the

desired length.

Carrying:

WARNING

The device must be carried only with the supplied

shoulder strap provided.

The device must NOT be carried with the shoulder

strap around your neck.

THE DEVICE

1 Switching on/oﬀ (Fig. 7)

Use the switch to turn the device On/Oﬀ .

Level II: High suction power

- recommended for proﬁ led surface such as carpets.

Level I: Medium suction power

- recommended for smooth surfaces.

Level 0: Oﬀ

2 PressClean (Fig. 8)

To clean the ﬁ lter using a strong air ﬂ ow:

Put the switch in position II, cover the nozzle or suction

opening with the hand and press the button several times

(at least 3 times).

USE

1 This device is suitable for dry and wet applications

The device must not be switched on without ﬁ lter in place.

Wet vacuuming

○ Remove the dust bag for wet vacuuming.

○ The device switches oﬀ automatically once the

maximum water level has been reached.

WARNING

The device is not switched oﬀ when the tank is full

for non-conductive liquids (such as emulsion drilling

ﬂ uids, oils and greases).

The ﬁ ll level must be monitored continuously and the

tank must be emptied promptly.

NOTE

○ If water is suctioned quickly, then you will not be able to

suction as much as if water is suctioned slowly.

○ The ﬁ lter will get wet when suctioning water.

Ensure that it has suﬃ cient time to dry and that all

components are completely dry before using the

device for dry vacuuming.

○ If the water switch-oﬀ does not work and ﬂ uid is

suctioned into the motor so that water comes out of

the device, stop the device. Allow the device to dry

suﬃ ciently.

After wet vacuuming: clean the ﬁ lter after drying it

completely with the ﬁ lter cleaning element.

Clean the electrodes of stainless steel with steel brush if

any contaminations on them. Clean the tank with a moist

cloth and dry it oﬀ .

Dry Vacuuming

Vacuum only with dry ﬁ lter, device and accessories. If the

cartridge is damp, dust may stick and form a crust.

For dry vacuuming dust bags are recommended to use.

Using as a blower

Use with the ﬂ exible hose inserted into the blow port.

2 Transport

Store the ﬂ exible hose on the housing.

The upper part must be securely sealed to the tank - check

that the clamps are closed.

Set the switch to position “0”. (Fig. 7)

3 Using accessories

When using the wide nozzles and/or tube, we recommend

mounting the nozzle between the hose and the wide

nozzles/extension wands in use.

CLEANING

1 General Cleaning Instructions

WARNING

Turn oﬀ the power switch and remove the battery

before cleaning the device.

Clean the tank and accessories with water. Wipe the

upper part with a damp cloth.

CAUTION

Discharge and maintenance operations (including

disposal of the dust collection tanks) must only be

carried out by qualiﬁ ed specialists wearing appropriate

protective clothing and equipment.

Emptying the Tank

WARNING

For dust class only permitted for dusts with

occupational exposure limits > 1mg/m3.

(1) Set the switch to position “0”

(2) Remove battery.

(3) Open the clamps. Remove the upper part of the device

from the tank.

(4) Tip out the tank.

Disposing of the Dust Bag

(1) Set the switch to position “0”

(2) Remove battery.

(3) Open the clamps. Remove the upper part of the device

from the tank.

(4) Carefully remove the dust bag.

(5) Be careful with dust during disposal!

(6) Dispose of the vacuumed material in accordance with

legal regulations.

- Occasionally tap the ﬁ lter to remove any dust that has

gathered on it. If the ﬁ lter is very dirty, you can clean it

with water and a soft brush.

Allow to ﬁ lter to dry properly afterwards.

WARNING

○ For inspection and maintenance, be sure to turn oﬀ the

switch and disconnect the battery.

○ Do not work with wet hands. May cause electric shock

or injuries.

1. General instructions

Clean the device (see “CLEANING”).

WARNING

For maintenance by the user, the vacuum cleaner must

be taken apart, cleaned and maintained, to the extent

possible, without endangering maintenance staﬀ or other

people.

Preventive measures

Appropriate preventive measures include: cleaning the

device before disassembly; providing local ﬁ ltered forced

ventilation where the vacuum cleaner is disassembled;

cleaning of the maintenance area and providing suitable

personal protective clothing and equipment.

When carrying out maintenance or repairs, it is essential

to dispose of any contaminated objects that cannot be

adequately cleaned. These objects must be disposed

of using impermeable bags and in accordance with the

applicable regulations for removing such waste.

2. Replacing the ﬁ lter

(1) Clean the ﬁ lter again before replacement

(“2 PressClean” of “THE DEVICE”)

(2) Set the switch to position “0”

Remove battery.

(3) Open the clamps. Remove the upper part of the device

from the tank.

(4) Unscrew the screws on the bottom of the upper part

(see Fig. 9) so that the ﬁ lter and ﬁ lter bracket can be

removed.

(5) Seal the removed ﬁ lter immediately in a dust-tight

plastic bag and dispose of it in accordance with

regulations.

(6) Insert a new ﬁ lter into the ﬁ lter holder and use the screw

to attach it in the vacuum once again. Ensure proper

and secure position.

3. Inspecting the mounting screws

Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that

they are properly tightened. Should any of the screws

be loose, retighten them immediately. Failure to do so

could result in serious hazard.

4. Maintenance of the motor

The motor unit winding is the very “heart” of the power

tool.

Exercise due care to ensure the winding does not

become damaged and/or wet with oil or water.

5. Inspection of terminals (tool and battery)

Check to make sure that swarf and dust have not

collected on the terminals.

On occasion check prior, during and after operation.

CAUTION

Remove any swarf or dust which may have collected on

the terminals.

Failure to do so may result in malfunction.

6. Check for Dust

Dust may be removed with a soft cloth or a cloth

dampened with soapy water. Do not use bleach,

chlorine, gasoline or thinner, for they may damage the

plastics.

7. Storage

Store the power tool and battery in a place in which

the temperature is less than 40°C and out of reach of

children.

NOTE

Storing lithium-ion batteries.

Make sure the lithium-ion batteries have been fully

charged before storing them.

Prolonged storage (3 months or more) of batteries with

a low charge may result in performance deterioration,

signiﬁ cantly reducing battery usage time or rendering

the batteries incapable of holding a charge.

However, signiﬁ cantly reduced battery usage time may

be recovered by repeatedly charging and using the

batteries two to ﬁ ve times.

If the battery usage time is extremely short despite

repeated charging and use, consider the batteries

dead and purchase new batteries.

CAUTION

In the operation and maintenance of power tools, the

safety regulations and standards prescribed in each

country must be observed.

Causes and remedies:

• Battery almost ﬂ at: (the electronics prevent the battery

form discharging totally and avoid damage). If the

capacity indicator ﬂ ashes after pressing the battery

button to display the battery capacity, then the battery

is almost empty and must be recharged.

• Battery is not inserted properly: Check and correct.

• Long continuous overloading of the device will activate

the temperature cut-out.

VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN BEI DER

VERWENDUNG DES AKKU-NASS-/

TROCKEN-SAUGERS

Die allgemeinen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen für den Nass-/

Trocken-Sauger wurden bereits beschrieben. Beachten Sie

bei der Verwendung des Nass-/Trocken-Saugers zusätzlich

die folgenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:

WARNUNG

1. Vermeiden Sie ein Aufsaugen der folgenden Dinge

durch das Gerät:

○ Beim Schleifen oder Schneiden von Metall entstehende

Funken.

○ Gegenstände mit hohen Temperaturen wie z. B.

brennende Zigaretten.

○ Entzündbare Stoﬀ e (Benzin, Verdünner, Benzol,

Kerosin, Farbe etc.) explosive Stoﬀ e (Nitroglyzerin etc.),

brennbare Stoﬀ e (Aluminium, Zink, Magnesium, Titan,

roter Phosphor, gelber Phosphor, Zelluloid etc.)

○ Scharfe Gegenstände wie Nägel oder Rasierklingen.

○ Holzspäne, Metall, Stein, Draht etc.

○ Festwerdende Materialien wie Zementpulver und

Toner sowie leitende Feinstäube wie Metallpulver und

Kohlenstaub.

○ Schäumende Flüssigkeiten wie Öl, kochendes Wasser,

Chemikalien und Reinigungsmittel. Flüssigkeiten wie

Wasser und Öl. Kann zu Feuer oder Verletzungen führen.

2.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht mit verstopfter

Saugöﬀ nung, Lufteinlassöﬀ nung oder Abluftöﬀ nung.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn die Saugöﬀ nung

oder der Gebläseanschluss blockiert ist.

3. Vermeiden Sie ein Umwerfen des Geräts und

verwenden Sie es nicht auf der Seite liegend. Kann zu

Stromschlägen oder Defekten führen.

4. Laden Sie die Batterie bei einer Temperatur von

0°C–40°C auf. Eine Temperatur unter 0°C führt zu einem

Überladen, was gefährlich ist. Die Batterie kann bei einer

Temperatur über 40°C nicht aufgeladen werden. Die

beste Temperatur zum Auﬂ aden liegt bei 20°C–25°C.

5. Das Ladegerät ist nicht für Dauerbetrieb konzipiert.

Nach Beendigung eines Ladevorgangs das Ladegerät

ca. 15 Minuten ruhen lassen, bevor mit dem nächsten

Ladevorgang begonnen wird.

6. Lassen Sie keine Fremdkörper durch das Anschlussloch

des Akkus eindringen.

7. Niemals den Akku und das Ladegerät zerlegen.

8. Niemals den Akku kurzschließen. Ein Kurzschließen des

Akkus verursacht hohe Stromstärken und Überhitzung.

Das kann zu Verbrennungen und zu Schäden am Akku

führen.

9. Den Akku nicht ins Feuer werfen. Er könnte dabei

explodieren.

10. Bringen Sie den Akku zu dem Geschäft, in dem Sie ihn

gekauft haben, sobald die Lebensdauer des Akkus zur

Neige geht. Den erschöpften Akku nicht wegwerfen.

11. Schieben Sie keine Gegenstände durch die

Belüftungsschlitze des Ladegeräts.

Wenn Metallobjekte oder entzündliche Gegenstände

durch die Belüftungsschlitze des Ladegeräts eindringen,

kann dies zu elektrischen Schlägen führen oder das

Ladegerät beschädigen.

12. Bei kontinuierlicher Verwendung dieses Gerätes kann

sich das Gerät überhitzen und des Motor und der

Schalter können beschädigt werden. Deshalb sollten Sie

dem Werkzeug eine Pause gönnen, wenn das Gehäuse

heiß wird.

13. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Akku fest angebracht ist.

Bei lockerem Sitz könnte er sich lösen und einen Unfall

verursachen.

14. Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht, wenn das Werkzeug

oder die Akkuanschlüsse (Akkuhalterung) verformt sind.

Wenn der Akku eingesetzt wird, kann es zu einem

Kurzschluss kommen, der zu Rauchentwicklung oder

Entzündung führen kann.

15. Halten Sie die Anschlüsse am Werkzeug (Akkuhalterung)

frei von Spänen und Staub.

○ Stellen Sie vor der Verwendung sicher, dass sich keine

Späne und kein Staub im Bereich der Anschlüsse

angesammelt haben.

○ Versuchen Sie während des Einsatzes zu vermeiden,

dass Späne oder Staub vom Werkzeug auf den Akku

fallen.

○ Lassen Sie das Werkzeug in einer Arbeitspause oder

nach dem Einsatz nicht in einem Bereich liegen, in dem

es herabfallenden Spänen oder Staub ausgesetzt sein

kann.

Das könnte einen Kurzschluss verursachen, der zu

Rauchentwicklung oder Entzündung führen kann.

16. Verwenden Sie das Werkzeug und den Akku immer bei

Temperaturen zwischen -5°C und 40°C.

WARNUNG ZUM LITHIUM-IONEN-

AKKU

Um die Lebensdauer des Lithium-Ionen-Akkus zu

verlängern, ist dieser mit einer Schutzfunktion zum Stoppen

der Leistungsabgabe ausgestattet.

In den unten beschriebenen Fällen 1 bis 3 kann bei der

Benutzung dieses Produkts der Motor abschalten, selbst

wenn Sie den Schalter drücken. Dies ist kein Defekt sondern

das Resultat der Schutzfunktion.

1. Wenn die verbleibende Akkuleistung nicht mehr

ausreicht, schaltet der Motor ab.

Laden Sie in einem solchen Fall den Akku umgehend

auf.

2. Wenn das Werkzeug überlastet ist, kann es zum

Abschalten des Motors kommen. Lassen Sie in diesem

Fall den Schalter des Werkzeugs los und beseitigen Sie

die Ursache der Überlastung. Danach können Sie das

Werkzeug wieder verwenden.

3.

Kommt es während des Betriebs zu einer Überhitzung der

Batterie, wird das Gerät unter Umständen angehalten.

Unterbrechen Sie in diesem Fall Ihre Arbeit und lassen

Sie die Batterie abkühlen. Danach können Sie das

Werkzeug wieder verwenden.

Bitte beachten Sie die folgenden Warnhinweise.

WARNUNG

Zur Vermeidung eines Auslaufens der Batterie, Erwärmung,

Rauchentwicklung, Explosionen und vorzeitiger Zündung

beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen.

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich keine Späne und Staub auf

der Batterie ansammeln.

○ Stellen Sie während der Arbeit sicher, dass keine Späne

und Staub auf die Batterie fallen.

○ Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich Staub und Späne, die

während der Bearbeitung auf das Elektrowerkzeug

fallen, nicht auf der Batterie ansammeln.

○ Lagern Sie ungebrauchte Batterien nicht an Plätzen, an

denen Staub oder Späne anfallen.

○ Vor dem Einlagern einer Batterie sind sämtlicher

Staub und Späne zu entfernen. Weiterhin ist zu

berücksichtigen, dass die Batterie nicht zusammen mit

Metallteilen (Schrauben, Nägel, usw.) gelagert werden

darf.

2. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Batterie nicht durch einen

spitzen Gegenstand, beispielsweise einen Nagel,

beschädigt wird. Vermeiden Sie Schläge mit dem

Hammer. Treten Sie nicht gegen die Batterie, werfen Sie

diese nicht, und vermeiden Sie schwere Stöße.

3. Beschädigte oder verformte Batterien dürfen nicht weiter

verwendet werden.

4. Verwenden Sie die Batterie nur für den angegebenen

Zweck.

5. Falls die Batterie nach Verstreichen der angegebenen

Ladezeit nicht vollständig aufgeladen ist, brechen Sie

den Ladevorgang unverzüglich ab.

6. Vermeiden Sie hohe Temperaturen und hohen Druck,

wie er beispielsweise in der Mikrowelle, einem Trockner,

oder einem Hochdruckbehälter auftritt.

7. Halten Sie die Batterie sofort von oﬀ enen Flammen fern,

wenn Sie ein Leck oder üblen Geruch feststellen.

8. Vermeiden Sie eine Verwendung an Orten, an denen

starke statische Elektrizität erzeugt wird.

9. Werden ein Leck, übler Geruch, Erwärmung,

Verfärbungen, Verformungen oder sonstige

Anomalitäten während der Verwendung, des Auﬂ adens

oder der Lagerung festgestellt, entfernen Sie die Batterie

unverzüglich vom Werkzeug oder vom Ladegerät und

beenden Sie die Verwendung.

10. Tauchen Sie den Akku nicht ins Wasser und lassen

Sie keine Flüssigkeiten ins Innere gelangen. Leitfähige

Flüssigkeiten, wie z. B. Wasser, können Schäden

verursachen, die zu einem Brand oder einer Explosion

führen. Lagern Sie Ihren Akku an einem kühlen,

trockenen Ort, fern von brennbaren und entzündlichen

Gegenständen. Korrosive Gase in der Atmosphäre

müssen gemieden werden.

11. Setzen Sie die Schalttafel nicht starken Erschütterungen

aus oder beschädigen sie. Dies kann zu Störungen

führen.

1. Tritt die auslaufende Flüssigkeit in Kontakt mit Ihren

Augen, reiben Sie diese nicht, sondern waschen Sie sie

mit sauberem Leitungswasser gut aus und suchen Sie

unverzüglich einen Arzt auf.

Ohne sachgemäße Behandlung können

Augenverletzungen auftreten.

2. Wenn die ausgelaufene Flüssigkeit auf Haut oder

Kleidung triﬀ t, waschen Sie diese unverzüglich mit

sauberem Wasser ab.

Es besteht die Gefahr von Hautreizungen.

3. Beim Auftreten von Rost, üblem Geruch, Erwärmung,

Verfärbungen, Verformungen oder sonstigen

Anomalitäten während der ersten Verwendung der

Batterie, ist diese nicht weiter zu verwenden. Bringen

Sie die Batterie zum Händler oder Verkäufer zurück.

WARNUNG

Wenn ein leitfähiger Fremdkörper in das Gehäuse einer

einer Lithiumionenbatterie unbedingt folgende Regeln:

○ Legen Sie in das Aufbewahrungsetui keine leitfähigen

Trümmer, Nägel und Drähte wie etwa Eisen- und

Kupferdrähte.

○ Laden Sie, damit kein Kurzschluss auftreten kann, die

Batterie in das Werkzeug oder schieben Sie sie sicher

in die Batteriehülle zum Lagern so weit ein, dass der

Ventilator nicht sichtbar ist.

Beim Transport von Lithium-Ionen-Batterien beachten Sie

bitte die folgenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen.

Weisen Sie die Transportﬁ rma darauf hin, dass ein Paket

eine Lithium-Ionen-Batterie enthält, informieren Sie das

Unternehmen über ihre Leistungsabgabe und befolgen

Sie die Anweisungen der Transportﬁ rma, wenn Sie den

Transport in die Wege leiten.

○ Lithium-Ionen-Batterien, die eine Leistungsabgabe von

100 Wh überschreiten, werden in der Einstufung des

Frachtguts als Gefahrgüter angesehen und erfordern

spezielle Anwendungsverfahren.

○ Für den Transport über Straßen müssen die

internationalen Gesetze und die Regeln und Vorschriften

LADEN

Laden Sie vor dem Gebrauch des Elektrowerkzeugs den

Akku wie folgt auf.

1. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Ladegeräts in eine

Steckdose.

Wenn der Stecker des Ladegeräts in eine Steckdose

eingesteckt wird, blinkt die Anzeigelampe rot. (Siehe

Tabelle 1)

2. Legen Sie den Akku in das Ladegerät ein.

Schieben Sie den Akku wie in der Abb. 3 (auf Seite 2).

3. Laden

Beim Einlegen eines Akkus in das Ladegerät wird der

Ladevorgang begonnen und die Kontrolllampe leuchtet

beständig rot.

Wenn die Batterie voll aufgeladen ist, blinkt die

Kontrolllampe rot. (Siehe Tabelle 1)

Zustand des Ladegerätes oder Akkus sind in der

Tabelle 1 angegeben.

HINWEIS

*1 Wenn die rote Lampe auch nach dem Anschließen des

Ladegeräts weiter blinkt, überprüfen Sie, ob der Akku

richtig eingesetzt ist.

Obwohl der Ladevorgang beginnt, sobald der Akku

abgekühlt ist, auch wenn er an Ort und Stelle verbleibt,

ist es am besten, den Akku herauszunehmen und ihn an

einem schattigen, gut belüfteten Ort abkühlen zu lassen,

bevor er aufgeladen wird.

*3 Betriebsstörung im Akku oder im Ladegerät

– Setzen Sie den Akku vollständig ein.

– Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine Fremdkörper

an der Akkuhalterung oder an den Polen haften.

Wenn keine Fremdkörper vorhanden sind, liegt

wahrscheinlich eine Fehlfunktion des Akkus oder

Ladegeräts vor. Die Teile von einem autorisierten

Kundendienst prüfen lassen.

○ Wenn die Kontrolllampe nicht rot blinkt, obwohl das

Stromkabel an der Stromquelle eingesteckt ist, bedeutet

das, dass möglicherweise der Schutzstromkreis des

Ladegeräts aktiviert wurde.

Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und stecken

Sie ihn nach etwa 5 Minuten wieder ein. Blinkt dann

die Kontrolllampe immer noch nicht, bringen Sie das

Ladegerät bitte zu einem autorisierten Servicezentrum

von HiKOKI.

○ Wenn das Ladegerät ständig in Betrieb war, wird es

heiß, das stellt eine Ursache für Ausfälle dar. Sobald

der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist, lassen Sie das

Ladegerät vor dem nächsten Ladevorgang 5 Minuten

ruhen.

HINWEIS

○ Die Auﬂ adezeit kann je nach Umgebungstemperatur

und Spannung der Stromquelle unterschiedlich sein.

○ Wenn der Ladevorgang lange dauert

– Der Ladevorgang dauert bei extrem niedrigen

Umgebungstemperaturen länger. Laden Sie den

Akku an einem warmen Ort auf (z. B. in einem

Innenraum).

– Blockieren Sie die Lüftungsöﬀ nung nicht.

Andernfalls überhitzt sich das Innere des Geräts und

die Leistung des Ladegeräts nimmt ab.

– Wenn das Kühlgebläse nicht funktioniert, Wenden

Sie sich an ein HiKOKI-Kundendienstzentrum zwecks

Reparatur.

4. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Ladegeräts aus der

Steckdose.

5. Halten Sie das Ladegerät fest und ziehen Sie den

Akku heraus.

HINWEIS

Ziehen Sie den Akku nach der Benutzung des

Ladegeräts unbedingt aus diesem heraus und bewahren

Sie ihn dann auf.

Zum elektrischen Entladen im Falle von neuen

Akkus, usw.

Da die internen chemischen Substanzen von neuen

und länger nicht verwendeten Akkus nicht aktiviert

sind, ist die elektrische Entladezeit möglicherweise

bei der ersten und zweiten Verwendung kurz. Dies ist

eine vorübergehende Erscheinung und die normale

Entladezeit wird wiederhergestellt, wenn der Akku 2–3

Mal aufgeladen wurde.
