Intended use:

This oscillometric blood pressure monitor is intended for measuring

non-invasive blood pressure in people aged 12 years or older.

It is clinically validated in patients with hypertension, hypotension,

diabetes, pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, atherosclerosis, end-stage

renal disease, obesity and the elderly.

The device can detect an irregular pulse suggestive of Atrial Fibril-

lation (AF). Please note that the device is not intended to diagnose

AF. A diagnosis of AF can only be confirmed by ECG. The patient

is advised to see a physician.

This device was developed in collaboration with physicians and

clinical tests carried out prove its measurement accuracy to be of

a very high standard.*

Microlife AFIBsens is the world’s leading digital blood pressure

measurement technology for the detection of atrial fibrillation (AF)

and arterial hypertension. These are the two top risk factors of

getting a stroke or heart disease. It is important to detect AF and

hypertension at an early stage, even though you may not experi-

ence any symptoms. AF screening in general and thus also with

the Microlife AFIB algorithm, is recommended for people of 65

years and older. The AFIB algorithm indicates that atrial fibrillation

may be present. For this reason, it is recommended that you visit

your doctor when the device gives an AFIB signal during your

blood pressure measurement. The AFIB algorithm of Microlife has

been clinically investigated by several prominent clinical investiga-

tors and showed that the device detects patients with AFIB at a

certainty of 97-100%.

1. Appearance of the Atrial Fibrillation Indicator for

early Detection (Active only in MAM mode)

This device is able to detect atrial fibrillation (AF). This symbol BM

indicates that atrial fibrillation was detected during the measure-

ment. Please refer to the next paragraph for information regarding

the consultation with your doctor.



Keep the arm still during measuring to avoid false readings.



This device may not or wrongly detect atrial fibrillation in

people with pacemakers or defibrillators.

Information for the doctor on frequent appearance of the

atrial fibrillation indicator

This device is an oscillometric blood pressure monitor that also

analyses pulse irregularity during measurement. The device is

clinically tested.

The AFIB symbol is displayed after the measurement, if atrial

fibrillation occurred during measuring. If the AFIB symbol

appears after having performed a full blood pressure measure-

ment episode (triplicate measurements), the patient is advised to

perform another measurement episode (triplicate measure-

ments). If the AFIB symbol appears again, we recommend the

patient to seek medical advice.

If the AFIB-symbol appears on the screen of the blood pressure

monitor, it indicates the possible presence of atrial fibrillation.

The atrial fibrillation diagnosis however, must be made by a

cardiologist based on ECG interpretation.



In the presence of atrial fibrillation the diastolic blood pressure

value may not be accurate.



In the presence of atrial fibrillation using MAM-mode is recom-

mended for more reliable blood pressure measurement.

What is Atrial Fibrillation (AF)?

Normally, your heart contracts and relaxes to a regular beat. Certain

cells in your heart produce electrical signals that cause the heart to

contract and pump blood. Atrial fibrillation occurs when rapid, disorga-

nized electrical signals are present in the heart’s two upper chambers,

called the atria; causing them to contract irregularly (this is called fibril-

lation). Atrial fibrillation is the most common form of heart arrhythmia.

It often causes no symptoms, yet it significantly increases your risk of

stroke. You’ll need a doctor to help you control the problem.

Who should be screened for Atrial Fibrillation?

AF screening is recommended for people over 65 years of age, since

the chance of having a stroke increases with age. AF screening is

also recommended for people from the age of 50 years who have

high blood pressure (e.g. SYS higher than 159 or DIA higher than 99)

as well as those with diabetes, coronary heart failure or for those who

have previously had a stroke.

In young people or in pregnancy AF screening is not recommended

as it could generate false results and unnecessary anxiety. In addi-

tion, young individuals with AF have a low risk of getting stroke as

compared to elder people.

Risk factors you can control

Early diagnosis of AF followed by adequate treatment can signifi-

cantly reduce the risk of getting stroke. Knowing your blood pressure

and knowing whether you have AF is the first step in proactive stroke

prevention.

2. Using the Device for the First Time

Inserting the batteries

After you have unpacked your device, first insert the batteries. The

battery compartment

is on the bottom of the device. Insert the

batteries (4 x 1.5 V, size AA), thereby observing the indicated polarity.

Setting the date and time

1. After the new batteries are fitted, the year number flashes in the

display. You can set the year by pressing the M-button 3. To

confirm and then set the month, press the time button 4.

2. Press the M-button to set the month. Press the time button to

confirm and then set the day.

3. Follow the instructions above to set the day, hour and minutes.

4. Once you have set the minutes and pressed the time button, the

date and time are set and the time is displayed.

5. If you want to change the date and time, press and hold the time

button down for approx. 3 seconds until the year number starts

to flash. Now you can enter the new values as described above.

Selecting the correct cuff

Microlife offers different cuff sizes. Select the cuff size to match the

circumference of your upper arms (measured by close fitting in the

centre of the upper arm).



Only use Microlife cuffs.



Contact your local Microlife Service if the enclosed cuff AL does

not fit.



Connect the cuff to the device by inserting the cuff connector AN

into the cuff socket 6 as far as it will go.



If you buy a spare Microlife cuff, please remove the cuff

connector AN from the cuff tube AM from the cuff supplied

with the original device and insert this cuff connector into

the tube of the spare cuff (valid for all cuff sizes).

Selecting the user

This device allows to store the results for 2 individual users.



Select the intended user (user 1 or user 2 BN) by pressing the

user button 5.



Before each measurement, ensure that the correct user is

selected.

Selecting standard or MAM mode

Before each measurement, select standard (single measurement)

or MAM mode (automatic triple measurement). In MAM mode,

3 measurements are automatically taken in succession and the

result is then automatically analysed and displayed. Because the

blood pressure constantly fluctuates, a result obtained in this way

is more reliable than when a single measurement is performed.

 To select MAM mode, slide the MAM switch 7 upwards to

position «3» until the MAM-symbol BO appears on the display.

To change to standard mode (single measurement), slide the

MAM switch downwards to position «1».



The bottom, right hand section of the display shows a 1, 2 or 3 to

indicate which of the 3 measurements is currently being taken.

 There is a break of 15 seconds between the measurements.

A count down indicates the remaining time.



The individual results are not displayed. Your blood pressure will

only be displayed after all 3 measurements are taken.



Do not remove the cuff between measurements.



If one of the individual measurements was questionable, a fourth

one is automatically taken.



AF detection is only activated in MAM mode.

3. Checklist for Taking a Reliable Measurement



Avoid activity, eating or smoking immediately before the

measurement.



Sit down on a back-supported chair and relax for 5 minutes.

Keep the feet flat on the floor and do not cross your legs.



Always measure on the same arm (normally left). It is recom-

mended that doctors perform double arm measurements on a

patients first visit in order to determine which arm to measure in

the future. The arm with the higher blood pressure should be

measured.



Remove close-fitting garments from the upper arm. To avoid

constriction, shirt sleeves should not be rolled up - they do not

interfere with the cuff if they are laid flat.



Always ensure that the correct cuff size is used (marking on the

cuff).

 Fit the cuff closely, but not too tight.



Make sure that the cuff is positioned 1-2 cm above the elbow.

 The artery mark on the cuff (ca. 3 cm long bar) must lie over

the artery which runs down the inner side of the arm.

 Support your arm so it is relaxed.

 Ensure that the cuff is at the same height as your heart.

4. Taking a Blood Pressure Measurement

1. Select standard (single measurement) or

MAM

mode (automatic

triple measurement): see details in chapter «2.».

2. Press the ON/OFF button 1 to start the measurement.

3. The cuff will now pump up automatically. Relax, do not move

and do not tense your arm muscles until the measurement

result is displayed. Breathe normally and do not talk.

4. The cuff fit check BT on the display indicates that the cuff is

perfectly placed. If the icon BT-A appears, the cuff is fitted

suboptimally, but it is still ok to measure.

5. When the correct pressure is reached, the pumping stops and the

pressure falls gradually. If the required pressure was not reached,

the device will automatically pump some more air into the cuff.

6. During the measurement, the pulse indicator BS flashes in the

display.

7. The result, comprising the systolic AP and the diastolic AQ blood

pressure and the pulse rate AR is displayed. Note also the

explanations on further display symbols in this booklet.

8. When the device has finished measuring, remove the cuff.

9. Switch off the device. (The monitor does switch off automatically

after approx. 1 min.).



AF detection is only activated in MAM mode.



You can stop the measurement at any time by pressing the

ON/OFF button (e.g. if you feel uneasy or an unpleasant

pressure sensation).



This monitor is specially tested for use in pregnancy and

pre-eclampsia. When you detect unusual high readings in

pregnancy, you should measure after a short while again

(eg. 1 hour). If the reading is still too high, consult your

doctor or gynecologist.

In pregnancy the AFIB symbol can be ignored.

Manual inflation

In case of high systolic blood pressure (e.g. above 135 mmHg)

it can be an advantage to set the pressure individually. Press the ON/

OFF button after the monitor has been pumped up to a level of

approx. 30 mmHg (shown on the display). Keep the button pressed

until the pressure is about 40 mmHg above the expected systolic

value – then release the button.

How not to store a reading

As soon as the reading is displayed press and hold the ON/OFF

button 1 until «M» BP is flashing. Confirm to delete the reading by

pressing the time button 4.



«CL» is displayed when the reading is deleted from the

memory successfully.

5BP B6 Connect

How do I evaluate my blood pressure?

The LED traffic light indicator on the left-hand side of the display

indicates within which range the measured blood pressure lies. The

value is either within the optimum (green), elevated (yellow) or high

(red) range. The classification corresponds to the following ranges

defined by international guidelines (

ESH, ESC, JSH

). Data in mmHg.

The higher value is the one that determines the evaluation.

Example: a blood pressure value of 140/80 mmHg or a value of

130/90 mmHg indicates «blood pressure too high».

Average Indicator «MyCheck»

This symbol CT indicates after each measurement, if the most

recent measured value lies below, above or on the same level as

your stored average value (see also chapter «5. Data Memory»).



If the measured Systole or Diastole is more than 5mmHg

higher than the stored average, the arrow shows upwards.



If the measured Systole or Diastole is more than 5mmHg

lower than the stored average, the arrow shows downwards.



If the measured Systole and Diastole do not differ by more

than 5mmHg from the stored average, the arrow shows

straight on.



If the measured systole and diastole differ in different direc-

tions from the stored average, this is indicated first with the

systole figure flashing, together with the up or down arrow

for two seconds. Thereafter, the diastole figure flashes with

the arrow pointing up or down for two seconds.

Appearance of the Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) Symbol

This symbol BL indicates that an irregular heartbeat was detected.

In this case, the measured blood pressure may deviate from your

actual blood pressure values. It is recommended to repeat the

measurement.

5. Data Memory

This device automatically stores up to 99 measurement values for

each of the 2 users.

Select either user 1 or 2 by pressing the user button 5.

Viewing the clinical blood pressure average «MyBP»

Pressing the M-button 3 briefly when the device is switched off,

allows you to see the average clinically relevant blood pressure

«MyBP». The display first shows «M» BP and «MyBP» BQ. This

average is only shown when 12 clinically relevant measurement

values in the last 28 days have been performed.

«MyBP» average is not displayed if the number of clinically rele-

vant measurement values do not meet the «MyBP» criteria.



Only measurements that were performed in the morning

between 05:00-10:59 or in the evening between 17:00-

22:59 are considered.



A maximum of 4 readings per day are considered (2 from

the morning and 2 from the evening).



Measurements performed in standard mode and in MAM-

mode are considered in the average, when they have been

performed during the right time of the day.



Measurements performed in MAM-mode or single standard

mode are both classed as single measurements for working

out the «MyBP average».



Blood pressure readings with suboptimal cuff fit BT-A are

not considered in the average value.

Viewing the average of the last 28 days

Press the M-button 3 again. The display first shows «M» BP and

«28A», which stands for the average measurement values of the

last 28 days.



Blood pressure readings with suboptimal cuff fit BT-A are

not considered in the average value.

Viewing the stored single values

Pressing the M-button again, allows you to see the last performed

measurement. The display first shows «M» BP and a value, e.g.

«M17». This means that there are 17 single values in the memory.

the IHB symbol:

This device is an oscillometric blood pressure monitor that also

measures the pulse during blood pressure measurement and

indicates when the heart rate is irregular.

Pressing the M-button again displays the previous value. Pressing

the M-button repeatedly enables you to move from one stored

value to another.



Pay attention that the maximum memory capacity of 99

memories is not exceeded.

When the 99 memory is full, the

oldest value is automatically overwritten with the 100th

value.

Values should be evaluated by a doctor before the

memory capacity is reached – otherwise data will be lost.

Clearing all values

Make sure the correct user is activated.

If you are sure that you want to permanently remove all stored values,

hold down the M-button (the device must have been switched off

beforehand) until «

CL ALL

» appears and then release the button. To

permanently clear the memory, press the time button while «

ALL

» is flashing. Individual values cannot be cleared.



6. Battery Indicator and Battery change

Low battery

When the batteries are approximately ¾ empty the battery symbol

will flash as soon as the device is switched on (partly filled battery

displayed). Although the device will continue to measure reliably, you

should obtain replacement batteries.

Flat battery – replacement

When the batteries are flat, the battery symbol AS will flash as soon

as the device is switched on (flat battery displayed). You cannot

take any further measurements and must replace the batteries.

1. Open the battery compartment AK at the back of the device.

2. Replace the batteries – ensure correct polarity as shown by the

symbols in the compartment.

3. To set date and time, follow the procedure described in

«Section 2.».



The memory retains all values although date and time must

be reset – the year number therefore flashes automatically

after the batteries are replaced.

Which batteries and which procedure?



Use 4 new, long-life 1.5 V, size AA alkaline batteries.



Do not use batteries beyond their date of expiry.



Remove batteries if the device is not going to be used for a

prolonged period.

Using rechargeable batteries

You can also operate this device using rechargeable batteries.



Only use «NiMH» type reusable batteries.



Batteries must be removed and recharged when the flat

battery symbol appears. They should not remain inside the

device as they may become damaged (total discharge as a

result of low use of the device, even when switched off).



Always remove the rechargeable batteries if you do not

intend to use the device for a week or more.



Batteries cannot be charged in the blood pressure monitor.

Recharge batteries in an external charger and observe the

information regarding charging, care and durability.

7. Using a Mains Adapter

You can operate this device using the Microlife mains adapter

(DC 6V, 600 mA).



Only use the

Microlife

mains adapter available as an original

accessory appropriate for your supply voltage.



Ensure that neither the mains adapter nor the cable are

damaged.

1. Plug the adapter cable into the mains adapter socket AT in the

blood pressure monitor.

2. Plug the adapter plug into the wall socket.

When the mains adapter is connected, no battery current is consumed.

8. Bluetooth

Function

This device can be used in conjunction with a smartphone running

the «Microlife Connected Health+» App.

Bluetooth

can be activated manually by pressing and holding the

ON/OFF button 1 for about 4 seconds until the Bluetooth symbol

begins flashing AO.

Bluetooth

is automatically activated AO after a measurement has

been completed.



Bluetooth pairing and set up is required to use this device

with the «Microlife Connected Health+» App. It is recom-

mended to manually activate Bluetooth

and connect to the

«Microlife Connected Health+» App to synchronize the date

and time settings between the device and the smartphone.



In case of difficulties connecting the device with the «Micro-

life Connected Health+» App, try to reset the Bluetooth

connection of this device to default settings:

Press and hold the ON/OFF button 1 for 8 seconds until

«CL Pr» is displayed. This clears the Bluetooth

pairing

records on the device and reset it to factory settings. Blue-

9. PC-Link Functions

This device can be used in conjunction with a personal computer

(PC) running the Microlife Blood Pressure Analyzer+ (BPA+) soft-

ware. The memory data can be transferred to the PC by

connecting the monitor via a cable.

If no download-voucher and cable is included download the BPA+

software from www.microlife.com/software and use a Micro-USB

cable.

10.Error Messages

If an error occurs during the measurement, the measurement is

interrupted and an error message, e.g. «Err 3», is displayed.

potentially occurring symptoms and the patient’s feedback.

Calling a doctor or an ambulance is advised if needed.

 Permanently high blood pressure values can damage your

health and must be treated by your doctor!

 Always discuss your values with your doctor and tell him/her if

you have noticed anything unusual or feel unsure. Never rely

on single blood pressure readings.



Under no circumstances should you alter the dosages of

drugs or initiate a treatment without consulting your doctor.

 Deviations between measurements taken by your doctor or in

the pharmacy and those taken at home are quite normal, as

these situations are completely different.

 The pulse display is not suitable for checking the

frequency of heart pacemakers!

 If you are pregnant, you should monitor your blood pressure

regularly as it can change drastically during this time.

Ensure that children do not use this device unsupervised;

some parts are small enough to be swallowed. Be aware of

the risk of strangulation in case this device is supplied with

cables or tubes.

Device care

Clean the device only with a soft, dry cloth.

Cleaning the cuff

Carefully remove spots on the cuff with a damp cloth and soap-

suds.



WARNING: Under no circumstances may you wash the

inner bladder!

Accuracy test

We recommend this device is tested for accuracy every 2 years or

after mechanical impact (e.g. being dropped). Please contact your

local Microlife-Service to arrange the test (see foreword).

Disposal

Batteries and electronic devices must be disposed of in

accordance with the locally applicable regulations, not with

domestic waste.

12.Guarantee

This device is covered by a 5 year guarantee from the date of

purchase. During this guarantee period, at our discretion, Microlife

will repair or replace the defective product free of charge.

Opening or altering the device invalidates the guarantee.

Что такое мерцательная аритмия (AF)?

В норме сердце сокращается и расслабляется в регулярном

ритме. Определенные клетки в сердце генерируют электриче-

ские сигналы, которые вызывают сокращения сердца и пере-

качивание крови. Мерцательная аритмия возникает, когда

быстрые, беспорядочные электрические сигналы в двух

верхних камерах сердца, называемых предсердиями, вызы-

вают их нерегулярные сокращения (это называется

фибрил-

ляциями). Мерцательная аритмия является наиболее распро-

страненной формой сердечных аритмий. Часто при этом не

возникает никаких симптомов, но значительно увеличивается

риск возникновения инсульта. Вам необходимо обратиться к

доктору, чтобы контролировать эту проблему.

Кто должен быть обследован на наличие мерцательной

аритмии?

Скрининг AF рекомендуется для людей старше 65 лет, так как с

возрастом возрастает вероятность возникновения инсульта.

Скрининг AF также рекомендуется для людей в возрасте от 50

2. Использование прибора в первый раз

Установка батарей

После того, как Вы вынули прибор из упаковки, прежде всего,

вставьте батареи. Отсек для батарей AK расположен на

нижней части прибора. Вставьте батареи (4 х тип AA 1.5V (В)),

соблюдая полярность.

Установка даты и времени

1. После установки новых батарей на дисплее замигает числовое

значение года. Год устанавливается нажатием кнопки M

Для того, чтобы подтвердить введенное значение и затем уста-

новить месяц, нажмите кнопку Time (Время)

Информация для врача в случае частого появления

индикатора мерцательной аритмии

Этот прибор является осциллометрическим измерителем

артериального давления, который анализирует также нере-

гулярность пульса во время измерения. Прибор прошел

клинические испытания.

Символ мерцательной аритмии появляется на дисплее в

случае, если мерцательная аритмия присутствовала во

время измерения. Если символ AFIB появляется после окон-

чания полного измерения артериального давления (трех-

кратного последовательного измерения), пациенту реко

мендуется повторить измерение (трехкратное последова-

тельное измерение). Если снова появится символ AFIB -

пациенту рекомендуется обратиться за помощью к врачу.

Если на экране монитора измерителя артериального

давления появляется символ AFIB, это указывает на

возможное присутствие мерцательной аритмии. Диагноз

мерцательной аритмии, однако, должен быть сделан карди-

ологом на основе расшифровки ЭКГ.

2. Теперь можно установить месяц нажатием кнопки M. Для

того, чтобы подтвердить введенное значение и затем уста-

новить день, нажмите кнопку Time (Время).

3. Следуя вышеприведенным инструкциям, установите день,

час и минуты.

4. После установки минут и нажатия кнопки Time (Время) на

экране появятся дата и время.

5. Для изменения даты и времени нажмите и

удерживайте

кнопку Time (Время) приблизительно в течение 3 секунд,

пока не начнет мигать год. После этого можно ввести новые

значения, как это описано выше.

Подбор подходящей манжеты

Microlife предлагает манжеты разных размеров. Выберите

манжету, размер которой соответствует обхвату Вашего плеча

(измеренному при плотном прилегании посредине плеча).



Пользуйтесь только манжетами Microlife!



Обратитесь в местный сервисный центр Microlife, если

приложенная манжета AL не подходит.



Подсоедините манжету к прибору, вставив соединитель

манжеты AN в гнездо манжеты 6 до упора.



Если вы приобрели запасную манжету Microlife: отсое-

дините разъем трубки для подачи воздуха AN от

манжеты AM, поставленной с устройством, и подсоеди-

ните этот разъем к запасной манжете (разъем подходит

для всех размеров манжеты).

Выбор пользователя

Этот прибор позволяет сохранить результаты 2 пользователей.



Выберите пользователя (пользователя 1 или пользователя

2 BN) нажав на кнопку пользователя 5.



Перед каждым измерением убедитесь, что выбор поль-

зователя правилен.

Выберите режим «Обычный» или «MAM»

Перед каждым измерением, необходимо выбрать режим

работы прибора: обычный режим (одинарное измерение) или

режим MAM (тройное измерение). В режиме MAM прибор авто-

матически выполняет 3 измерения, которые следуют один за

другим, данные всех выполненных измерений автоматически

анализируется и результат выводится на дисплей. Так как арте-

риальное давление постоянно изменяется, результат, полу-

ченный таким образом

, более надежен, чем одно измерение.

 Чтобы выбрать режим MAM, сдвиньте переключатель

MAM, 7 вверх до положения «3», пока на дисплее не

появится символ MAM BO. Чтобы перейти в стандартный

режим (одно измерение), сдвиньте переключатель MAM

вниз в положение «1».

 В нижнем правом участке дисплея отображается цифра 1,

2 или 3, указывающая на то, какое из трех измерений

выполняется в настоящий момент.

 Между

измерениями установлен перерыв в 15 секунд.

Отсчет отображает оставшееся время.

 Отдельные результаты не отображаются. Артериальное

давление будет показано только после выполнения трех

измерений.

 Не снимайте манжету между измерениями.

 Если одно из трех отдельных измерений вызывает

сомнения, то автоматически будет произведено четвертое.



Определение фибрилляции предсердий (аритмия)

возможно только в режиме MAM.

3. Рекомендации для получения точных резуль-

татов измерения



Избегайте физической активности, не ешьте и не курите

непосредственно перед измерением.



Присядьте на стул со спинкой на пять минут и расслабь-

тесь. Поставьте ноги на пол ровно и не скрещивайте их.



Всегда проводите измерения на одной и той же руке

(обычно на левой). Рекомендуется, чтобы во время

первого визита пациента, врач провел измерения на двух

руках, чтобы определить на какой руке нужно производить

измерения в дальнейшем. Потом измерения проводятся

только на той руке, на которой давление оказалось выше.



Снимите облегающую одежду с плеча. Не следует закаты-

вать рукав рубашки, это может привести к сдавливанию,

рукава из тонкой ткани не мешают измерению, если приле-

гают свободно.



Убедитесь, что используется манжета правильного

размера (маркировка на манжете).

 Плотно наложите манжету, но не слишком туго.

4. Выполнение измерений артериального давления

1. Выберите «обычный режим» (одинарное измерение) или

«Режим MAM (тройное измерение): подробная инфор-

мация см. главу «2.».

2. Нажмите кнопку ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ 1 для начала измерения.

3. Теперь будет произведена автоматическая накачка

манжеты. Расслабьтесь, не двигайтесь и не напрягайте

руку до тех пор, пока не отобразится результат измерения.

Дышите нормально и не разговаривайте.

Положение манжеты регистрируется на дисплее BT

манжета расположена оптимально. Если появляется

значок BT-A, манжета установлена достаточно хорошо и

можно проводить нормальное измерение.

5. Если измерение успешно завершено, подкачка прекраща-

ется и происходит постепенный сброс давления. Если требу-

емое давление не достигнуто, прибор автоматически произ-

ведет дополнительное нагнетание воздуха в манжету.

6. Во время измерения, индикатор пульса

мигает на дисплее.

7. Затем отображается результат, состоящий из систоличе-

ского AP и диастолического AQ артериального давления, а

также пульса AR. См. также пояснения по другим показа-

ниям дисплея в этой инструкции.

8. По окончанию измерения снимите и уберите манжету.

9. Отключите прибор. (Прибор автоматически отключится

приблизительно через 1 минуту).



Определение фибрилляции предсердий (аритмия)

возможно только в режиме MAM.



Вы можете остановить измерение в любой момент

нажатием кнопки ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ (например, если Вы испы-

тываете неудобство или неприятное ощущение от

нагнетаемого давления).



Этот прибор специально тестировался для применения

при беременности и преэклампсии. Если во время

беременности Вы обнаружили необычно высокий

результат, то Вы должны осуществить повторное изме-

рение (например через 1 час). Если результат по-преж-

нему высокий, то проконсультируйтесь со своим

лечащим врачом или гинекологом.

Во время беременности значок AFIB можно игнориро-

вать.

Накачивание

вручную

В случае очень высокого систолического давления

(например, более 135 mm Hg (мм рт.ст.)), можно уточнить

показание тонометра вручную. Для этого: после того, как на

дисплее прибора отобразится значение систолического

давления около 30 mm Hg (мм рт.ст.), нажмите и держите

нажатой кнопку ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ, пока давление не станет

примерно на 40 mm Hg (мм рт.ст.) вышеожидаемого

систоли-

ческого значения, затем отпустите кнопку.

Как отменить сохранение результата

Когда результат появится на дисплее, нажмите и держите

нажатой кнопку ВКЛ./ВЫКЛ. 1 пока кнопка «M» BP не начнет

мигать. Подтвердите удаление, нажав кнопку Time (Время)



«CL» на дисплее прибора означает удаление из памя-

типроведено успешно.

Как определить артериальное давление

Световые диоды в левой части дисплея 8 указывают на

диапазон, в который попадает измереное артериальное

давление. Измереное давление находится либо в опти-

мальном (зеленый), повышенном (желтый), либо высоком

(красный) диапазоне. Классификация данных по измеренному

давлению на

диапозоны происходит по международным

директивам (ESH, ESC, JSH). Данные выражены в мм.рт.ст.

Оценка давления определяется по наивысшему значению.

Например: давление 140/80 mm Hg (мм рт.ст.) и давление 130/

90 mm Hg (мм рт.ст.) оба оцениваются как «артериальное

давление очень высокое».

Средний показатель «MyCheck»

Этот символ CT указывает после каждого измерения, на то

что последнее измеренное значение находится ниже, выше

или на том же уровне, что и ваше

сохраненное среднее

значение (см. Также главу «5. Память»).



Если измеренная величина выше, чем на 5 мм рт.ст,

сохраненного среднего значения, то стрелка показы-

вает вверх.



Если измеренная величина ниже, чем на 5 мм

рт.ст.,сохраненного среднего значения, то стрелка

показывает вниз.



Если измеренная величина не отличается больше чем

на 5 мм рт.ст. от сохраненного среднего значения, то

стрелка показывает прямо.



Если измеренные систолическое и диастолическое

давление отличаются от сохраненного среднего значения

в разных направлениях, то начинает мигать стрелка

указывающая систолическое давление (вверх или вниз) и

само значение в течение двух секунд. Затем начинает

мигать стрелка указывающая диастолическое давление

(вверх или вниз) и само значение в течени е двух секунд.

Появление символа - IHB (обнаружение нерегулярного

сердцебиения)

Этот символ BL указывает на то, что было обнаружено нере-

гулярное сердцебиение. В этом случае измеренное артери-

альное давление может отличаться от фактического значения

артериального давления. Рекомендуется повторить изме-

рение.

5. Память

Этот прибор автоматически сохраняет по 99 значений изме-

рений для каждого из 2 пользователей.

Выберите пользователя 1 или пользователя 2, нажав на

кнопку пользователя 5.

Показывает данные среднего клинического артериаль-

ного давления «MyBP»

Кратковременное нажатие кнопки М 3 при выключенном

устройстве позволяет увидеть среднее клинически соответст-

вующее артериальное давление «MyBP». Сначала на

дисплее отображаются «M» BP и «MyBP» BQ

. Это среднее

значение отображается только в том случае, если за

последние 28 дней были проведены 12 соответствующих

клинических измерений.

Среднее значение «MyBP» не отображается, если количество

клинически соответствующих измерений не соответствует

критерию «MyBP».



Учитываются только измерения, которыепроводились

утром между 05:00-10:59 или вечероммежду 17:00-

22:59.



Рассматривается максимум 4 измерения в день(2

утренних и 2 вечерних).



Измерения, выполненные в стандартном и MAM

режимах, учитываются при определении среднего

значения, если они выполнялись в вышеуказанное

время суток.



Измерения, выполненные в MAM или в стандартномре-

жимах, классифицируются как одиночные измерени-

япри определении «MyBP average».



Это устройство представляет собой осциллометрический

прибор для измерения артериального давления, который

также измеряет пульс во время измерения артериального

давления, и показывает, когда частота сердечных сокра-

щений нерегулярна.

17BP B6 Connect

Показывает данные среднего значения измерений за

последние 28 дней

Нажмите кнопку M 3 еще раз. Сначала на дисплее отобража-

ются «M» BP и «28A», что означает средние значения изме-

рений за последние 28 дней.



Артериальное давление измеренное при положении-

манжеты BT-A не учитываются в среднем значении

Показывает отдельные сохраненные значения изме-

рений

Повторное нажатие кнопки M позволяет увидеть последнее-

выполненное измерение. На дисплее сначала отображается

«M» BP и значение, например «M17». Это означает, что

впамяти сохранено 17 отдельных значений.

Повторное нажатие кнопки M отображает предыдущее

значение. Многократное нажатие кнопки M

позволяет пере-

ключаться между сохраненными значениями.



Обратите внимание, что максимальный объем памяти в

99 измерений не может быть превышен. Когда память

заполнена, 100 измерение записывается вместо

самого раннего. Значения должны быть отслежены

врачом до достижения максимального объема памяти –

иначе данные будут потеряны.

Удаление всех значений

Убедитесь, что выбор пользователя правилен.

Если Вы хотите окончательно удалить все сохраненные в

памяти данные, выключите устройство, нажмите и держите

нажатой кнопку M, пока не появится «CL ALL» затем отпу-

стите кнопку.Чтобы полностью очистить память, нажмите

кнопку времени, пока «CL ALL» мигает. Индивидуальные

значения не могут быть удалены.



Отмена удаления: нажмите кнопку ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ 1, пока

«CL ALL» мигает.

6. Индикатор разряда батарей и их замена

Батареи почти разряжены

Если батареи использованы приблизительно на ¾, то при вклю-

чении прибора символ элементов питания

будет мигать

(отображается частично заряженная батарея). Несмотря на то,

что прибор продолжит надежно проводить измерения, необхо-

димо подготовить новые элементы питания на замену.

Замена разряженных батарей

Если батареи разряжены, то при включении прибора символ

элементов питания AS будет мигать (отображается разря-

женная батарея). Дальнейшие измерения не могут произво-

диться до замены батарей.

1. Откройте отсек батарей AK на нижней части прибора.

2. Замените батареи, убедившись, что соблюдена поляр-

ность в соответствии с символами в отсеке.

3. Для того, чтобы установить дату и время, следуйте проце-

дуре, описанной в «Разделе 2.».



В памяти сохраняются все значения, но дата и время

будут сброшены – поэтому после замены батарей год

автоматически замигает.

Элементы питания и процедура замены



Пожалуйста, используйте 4 новые щелочные батареи

на 1,5V (В) с длительным сроком службы размера AA.



Не используйте батареи с истекшим сроком годности.



Дocтaньте батареи, если прибор не будет использо-

ваться в течение длительного периода времени.

Использование аккумуляторов

С прибором можно работать, используя аккумуляторные батареи.



Пожалуйста, используйте только один тип аккумуля-

торных батарей «NiMH».



Батареи необходимо вынуть и перезарядить, если

появляется символ элементов питания (разряженная

батарея). Они не должны оставаться внутри прибора,

поскольку могут выйти из строя (даже в выключенном

приборе батареи продолжают разряжаться).



Всегда вынимайте аккумуляторы, если не собираетесь

пользоваться прибором в течение недели или более!



Аккумуляторы НЕ могут заряжаться в приборе!

Повторно зарядите аккумуляторы во внешнем

зарядном устройстве и ознакомьтесь с информацией

по зарядке, уходу и сроку службы!

7. Использование блока питания

Вы можете работать с прибором при помощи блока питания

Microlife (Постоянный ток 6В, 600 мА).



Используйте только блоки питания Microlife, относя-

щиеся к оригинальным принадлежностям и рассчи-

танные на соответствующее напряжение.



Убедитесь в том, что ни блок питания, ни кабель не

повреждены.

1. Вставьте кабель блока питания в гнездо блока питания AT

в приборе.

2. Вставьте вилку блока питания в розетку.

При подключении блока питания ток элементов питания не

потребляется.

8. Функция Bluetooth

Этот прибор можно использовать вместе со смартфоном, на

котором установлено приложение «Microlife Connected

Health+».

Bluetooth

можно активировать вручную, нажав и удерживая

кнопку ON / OFF 1 примерно в течение 4 секунд, пока символ

Bluetooth не начнет мигать AO.

Bluetooth

автоматически активируется AO после завершения

измерения.



Для использования этого устройства с приложением

«Microlife Connected Health+» требуется подключение и

настройка Bluetooth. Рекомендуется вручную активиро-

вать Bluetooth

и подключиться к приложению «Microlife

Connected Health+» для синхронизации настроек даты и

времени между устройством и смартфоном.



В случае затруднений при подключении устройства с

приложением «Microlife Connected Health+» попробуйте

сбросить подключение Bluetooth

на этом устройстве к

настройкам по умолчанию:

Нажмите и удерживайте кнопку ON / OFF 1 в течение

8 секунд, пока не отобразится «CL Pr». Это действие

удаляет записи подключения Bluetooth

на устройстве

и сбрасывает к заводским настройкам. Bluetooth

авто-

матически активируется после сброса.

9. Функции связи с компьютером

Прибор может подключаться к персональному компьютеру

(ПК) при использовании программного обеспечения Microlife

Blood Pressure Analyzer+ (BPA+). Данные из памяти переда-

ются на ПК путем соединения монитора с кабелем ПК.

Если нет загрузочного ваучера и кабеля, загрузите

программное обеспечение BPA+ с сайта www.microlife.com/

software с помощью кабеля Micro-USB.

10.Сообщения об ошибках

Если во время измерения происходит ошибка, то процедура

измерения прерывается и выдается сообщение об ошибке,

например «Err 3».
