2. Stir the liquid before placing the container

in the oven and let the teaspoon remain

GENERAL

IF ACCESSORIES CONTAINING METAL comes in contact

with the oven interior, while the oven is in op-

eration, sparking can occur and the oven could

be damaged.

ENSURE THAT THE UTENSILS YOU USE are oven proof

and allow microwaves to

pass through them before

cooking.

WHEN YOU PUT FOOD AND ACCESSORIES in the micro-

wave oven, ensure that they do not come in

contact with the interior of the oven.

This is especially important with accesso-

ries made of metal or metal parts.

ALWAYS ENSURE that the turntable is able to turn

freely before starting the oven. If the turntable

isn’t able to turn freely you should use a small-

er vessel or the TurnTable stop function (see

Large vessels).

THERE ARE a number of accessories available on

the market. Before you buy, ensure they are

suitable for microwave use.

TURNTABLE SUPPORT

USE THE TURNTABLE SUPPORT under the

Glass turntable. Never put any

other utensils on the turntable

support.

Fit the turntable support in the oven.

GLASS TURNTABLE

USE THE GLASS TURNTABLE with all cooking meth-

ods. It collects the dripping

juices and food particles that

otherwise would stain and soil

the interior of the oven.

Place the Glass turntable on the turntable

support.

CRISP HANDLE

CAREFUL CLEANING:

THE CRISP-PLATE should be cleaned in mild,

detergent water. Heavily soiled areas can be

cleaned with a scouring cloth

and a mild cleanser.

ALWAYS let the crisp-plate

cool o before cleaning.

DO NOT immerse or rinse with water while

the crisp-plate is hot. Quick cooling may

damage it.

DO NOT USE STEEL-WOOL PADS. This will

scratch the surface.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING

CLEANING IS THE ONLY MAINTENANCE normally

required. It must be carried out with the

microwave oven disconnected.

FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE OVEN in a clean condition

could lead to deterioration of the surface that

could adversely a ect the life of the appliance

and possibly result in a hazardous situation.

DO NOT USE METAL SCOURING PADS,

ABRASIVE CLEANSERS, steel-

wool pads, gritty wash-

cloths, etc. which can

damage the control pan-

el, and the interior and exterior oven

surfaces. Use a cloth with a mild detergent

or a paper towel with spray glass cleaner.

Apply spray glass cleaner to a paper towel.

DO NOT SPRAY directly on the oven.

AT REGULAR INTERVALS, especially if

spill overs have occurred,

remove the turntable, the

turntable support and wipe the

base of the oven clean.

THIS OVEN IS DESIGNED to operate with the

turntable in place.

DO NOT operate the microwave oven

when the turntable has been removed

for cleaning.

DISHWASHER SAFE:

GLASS TURNTABLE.

DO NOT USE STEAM CLEANING APPLIANCES when

cleaning your microwave oven.

USE A SOFT AND DAMP CLOTH with mild detergent

to clean the interior surfaces, front and rear of

the door and the door opening.

DO NOT ALLOW GREASE or food particles to

build up around the door.

FOR STUBBORN STAINS, boil a cup of water in the

oven for 2 or 3 minutes. Steam will soften the

marks.

ADDING SOME LEMON JUICE to a cup of water, plac-

ing this on the turntable and boiling for a few

minutes can eliminate odors inside the oven.

IF THE GRILL IS NOT USED regularly, it should be run

for 10 minutes a month to burn off any

splashes, in order to reduce the risk of fire.

THE OVEN should be cleaned regularly and

any food deposits removed.

THE GRILL ELEMENT does not need cleaning since

the intense heat will burn o any splashes, but

the ceiling beneath it may need regular

cleaning. This should be done with a soft and

damp cloth with mild detergent.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

IF THE OVEN DOES NOT WORK, do not make a service

call until you have made the following checks:

The Turntable and turntable support is in

place.

The Plug is properly inserted in the wall

socket.

The Door is properly closed.

Check your Fuses and ensure that there is

power available.

Check that the oven has ample ventilation.

Wait for 10 minutes, then try to operate the

oven once more.

Open and then close the door before you

try again.

THIS IS TO AVOID unnecessary calls for which you

will be charged.

When calling for Service, please give the serial

number and type number of the oven (see Ser-

vice label). Consult your warranty booklet for

further advice.

IF THE MAINS CORD NEEDS REPLACING it should

be replaced by the original

mains cord, which is avail-

able via our service organi-

zation. The mains cord may

only be replaced by a trained

service technician.

SERVICE ONLY TO BE CARRIED OUT

BY A TRAINED SERVICE TECHNICIAN.

It is hazardous for anyone oth-

er than a trained person to carry

out any service or repair oper-

ation, which involves the re-

moval of any cover, which gives pro-

tection against exposure to microwave

d’entraîner la détérioration de sa surface, ce qui à

son tour peut a ecter la durée de vie de l’appareil,

voire provoquer des situations dangereuses.

N’UTILISEZ JAMAIS D’ÉPONGES À RÉCURER MÉTALLIQUES,

DE NETTOYANTS ABRASIFS, de torchons

rugueux etc. qui pourraient en-

Utilisez un chiffon et un déter-

gent doux ou un morceau d’essuie-tout avec

NE LAISSEZ PAS LA GRAISSE ou les particules de

nourriture s’accumuler autour de la porte du

POUR LES TACHES TENACES, faites bouillir une tasse d’eau

dans le four pendant 2 ou 3 minutes. La vapeur per-

met de ramollir les taches.

L’AJOUT D’UN PEU DE JUS DE CITRON dans une tasse d’eau

posée sur le plateau tournant et portée à ébullition

pendant quelques minutes permet d’éliminer les

odeurs à l’intérieur du four.

SI LE GRIL N’EST PAS UTILISÉ RÉGULIÈREMENT, faites-le fonc-

tionner environ 10 minutes par mois afin d’éliminer

les éclaboussures et ainsi minimiser les risques

d’incendie.

pier kan schroeien of branden en sommige

plasticsoorten kunnen smelten als ze worden

gebruikt bij het opwarmen van voedsel.

Laat de oven niet onbewaakt achter als u veel

vet of olie gebruikt, omdat deze stoffen kun-

nen oververhitten en brand veroorzaken!

LS MATERIAAL BINNEN/BUITEN DE OVEN ZOU ONT-

ovendeur gesloten houden en de oven

uitschakelen. Koppel de voedingskabel los

of opwarmen van hele eieren met of zonder

schaal omdat ze kunnen ontplo en, zelfs na-

dat de magnetronverwarming is gestopt.

E DEURAFDICHTINGEN EN DE GEBIEDEN ROND DE

DEURAFDICHTING moeten regelmatig worden

geïnspecteerd op schade. Als deze gebieden be-

schadigd zijn, mag het toestel niet worden ge-

bruikt tot het is gerepareerd door een bevoegde

onderhoudstechnicus.

EBRUIK GEEN corrosieve chemicaliën of

stoom in dit toestel. Dit type oven is

speci ek ontworpen voor het verwarmen of

bereiden van voedsel. Het is niet ontworpen

voor industrieel of laboratoriumgebruik.

ANG/PLAATS GEEN zware items aan/op de

deur omdat dit de opening en scharnie-

ren van de oven kan beschadigen. De hand-

greep op de deur mag niet worden gebruikt

om er zaken aan te hangen.

ET TOESTEL EN DE TOEGANKELIJKE ONDERDELEN

worden warm tijdens het gebruik. Zorg

dat u geen verwarmingselementen aanraakt.

Kinderen die jonger zijn dan 8 jaar moet al-

tijd uit de buurt worden gehouden, tenzij ze

onder toezicht staan.

TOESTEL IS UITSLUITEND ONTWORPEN VOOR HUIS-

ET TOESTEL MAG NIET WORDEN GEBRUIKT zonder dat er

voedsel in de oven zit wanneer u microgolven

gebruikt. Als u het toestel op deze manier bedient,

zal het wellicht beschadigd raken.

LS U OEFENT MET HET GEBRUIK van de oven, kunt

u er een glas water in plaatsen. Het water zal

de energie van de magnetron absorberen en de

oven zal niet beschadigd worden.

ERWIJDER METALEN SLUITSTRIPS van pa-

pieren of plastic zakken voordat u

de zak in de oven plaatst.

FRITUREN

EBRUIK UW MAGNETRON niet om te frituren, om-

dat u de temperatuur van de olie

niet kunt regelen.

VLOEISTOFFEN

IJV. DRANKEN OF WATER. De vloeistof kan boven

het kookpunt worden over-

verhit, zonder dat dit zichtbaar

is door het borrelen van de vloe-

istof. Hierdoor kan de hete vloe-

istof plots overkoken.

m dit te voorkomen, volgt u de ondersta-

ande stappen:

1. Vermijd het gebruik van rechte potten of

flessen met nauwe halzen.

2. Roer de vloeistof om alvorens de houder in

de oven te zetten en laat het lepeltje erin

staan.

3. Laat de vloeistof na het opwarmen even

staan, roer opnieuw en haal de houder

voorzichtig uit de oven.

VOORZICHTIG

AADPLEEG ALTIJD een magne-

tronkookboek voor infor-

matie. Vooral wanneer u alco-

holhoudend voedsel bereidt of opwarmt.

LS U BABYVOEDING of vloeistoffen in een zuigfles

of potje in de magnetron verwarmt, moet u het

voedsel altijd doorroeren en de temperatuur con-

troleren voordat u het serveert. Zo zorgt u ervoor

dat de warmte gelijkmatig wordt verdeeld en dat

brandwonden worden voorkomen.

omdat deze erg heet wordt en het

gerei waarschijnlijk zal beschadigen.

neer u bereidingen maakt met

STOOMROOSTER voor voedsel zoals

vis, groenten en aardappelen.

Plaats nooit andere voorwerpen

op de plateaudrager.

GLAZEN DRAAIPLATEAU

GEBRUIK HET GLAZEN DRAAIPLATEAU met alle bere-

idingsmethoden. Het vangt

spetters, sappen en kruimels

op die anders de ovenruimte

zouden bevuilen.

Plaats het glazen draaiplateau op de plate-

audrager.

GROTE SCHALEN

GEBRUIK DE STOP-TOETS VAN HET DRAAIPLATEAU wan-

neer u schalen gebruikt die zo groot

zijn, dat ze niet vrij kunnen draaien in

de oven. Deze functie kan alleen wor-

den gebruikt wanneer u werkt met alleen

magnetron,Gratin* en de functie Combi*. De

toets zal niet werken met andere functies.

OPMERKING: *ALLEEN VERKRIJGBAAR VOOR SPECIFIEKE

MODELLEN.

CRISPHANDGREEP Alleen verkrijgbaar voor

specifieke modellen)

GEBRUIK DE MEEGELEVERDE SPECIALE

CRISPHANDGREEP om de hete

crispplaat uit de oven te halen.

DE OVEN moet regelmatig worden schoonge-

maakt en voedselafzettingen moeten wor-

den verwijderd.

STOOMPAN

ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING

NORMAAL IS REINIGING DE ENIGE VORM VAN ONDERHOUD die

nodig is. Tijdens het schoonmaken moet de magne-

tron van de netvoeding zijn losgekoppeld.

ALS DE OVEN NIET goed wordt schoongehouden, kan

dit tot aantasting van het ovenoppervlak leiden, wat

de levensduur van het apparaat kan verkorten en

mogelijk tot gevaarlijke situaties kan leiden.

GEBRUIK GEEN SCHUURSPONSJES, SCHUURMIDDELEN,

sponsjes van staalwol, ruwe doeken enz. Deze

kunnen het bedieningspaneel en het opperv-

lak van de binnen- en buiten-

kant van de oven beschadi-

gen. Gebruik een doek met

een mild schoonmaakmid-

del of een tissue met een spray

die geschikt is voor het schoonmaken van glas.

Sproei het schoonmaakmiddel op de tissue.

SPUIT NIET direct op de oven.

VERWIJDER REGELMATIG, vooral als u gemorst heeft, het

draaiplateau en de plateaudrager en maak de bo-

dem van de magnetron goed schoon.

DEZE OVEN IS ONTWORPEN om met het draaiplateau te

worden gebruikt.

GEBRUIK DE MAGNETRON NIET wan-

neer u het draaiplateau hebt

verwijderd om het schoon te

maken.

GEBRUIK EEN ZACHTE, VOCHTIGE DOEK met een zacht

reinigingsmiddel om de ovenruimte, voor- en

achterkant van de deur en de deuropening schoon

te maken.

ZORG ERVOOR DAT ER GEEN VET- of voedselresten

rond de deur worden opgestapeld.

IN GEVAL VAN HARDNEKKIGE VLEKKEN, laat u gedurende 2

of 3 minuten een kopje water in de oven koken. Vuil

laat zich door de stoomvorming makkelijker verwi-

jderen.

ALS U EEN KOPJE WATER MET WAT CITROENSAP op het draai-

plateau plaatst en dit enkele minuten laat koken,

hebt u geen last van slechte geurtjes in de oven.

ALS DE GRILL NIET REGELMATIG WORDT GEBRUIKT, moet deze

10 minuten per maand worden ingeschakeld om

spatten af te branden, om zo het risico op brand te

voorkomen.

GESCHIKT VOOR DE VAATWASMACHINE:

PLATEAUDRAGER.

GLAZEN DRAAIPLATEAU

ZORGVULDIGE REINIGING:

DE CRISPPLAAT moet worden afgewassen in water met

een mild afwasmiddel. Sterk vervuilde gedeeltes

kunnen worden schoongemaakt met

een

schuurdoekje en een zacht

schoonmaakmiddel.

LAAT DE CRISPPLAAT ALTIJD afkoelen

voordat u deze schoonmaakt.

DOMPEL DE CRISPPLAAT NIET onder in water en

spoel de crispplaat niet af wanneer deze heet

is. Door snelle afkoeling kan de crispplaat be-

schadigen.

GEBRUIK GEEN SPONSJES IN STAALWOL. Deze kunnen

krassen veroorzaken op het oppervlak.

GEBRUIK GEEN SCHOONMAAKAPPARATEN DIE MET

STOOM WERKEN wanneer u de magnetron

schoonmaakt.

HET GRILLELEMENT hoeft niet gereinigd te worden om-

dat de intense hitte spatten zal afbranden, maar het

plafond eronder moet regelmatig gereinigd wor-

den. Dit moet gebeuren met een

zachte, vochtige

doek met een zacht reinigingsmiddel.
