1. Verstellung Handgriff öffnen.

2. Metallrohr des Handgriffs in die Aufnah-

me bis zur unteren Rastposition (rastet

zwei Mal hörbar ein) schieben.

Die elektronische Bürstenkontrolle über-

wacht ständig das Arbeiten der Bürsten-

walze.

Die Kontrollleuchte zeigt den jeweiligen Be-

triebszustand an:

Hinweis

Optische Bürstenkontrolle: Der Grad der

Abnutzung kann durch den Vergleich mit

dem andersfarbigen Indikatorbüschel er-

kannt werden. Liegen die schwarzen Bors-

ten auf gleicher Höhe wie die roten, Bürs-

tenwalze austauschen.

Wartungsintervalle

Bitte beachten Sie die Wartungsintervalle,

um Beschädigungen des Geräts zu vermei-

den.

1. Die Bürstenwalze reinigen.

Wöchentlich

1. Die Abnutzung der Bürstenwalze über-

prüfen.

Hinweis

Der Grad der Abnutzung kann durch den

Vergleich mit dem andersfarbigen Indika-

torbüschel erkannt werden. Liegen die

schwarzen Borsten auf gleicher Höhe wie

die roten Borsten, tauschen Sie die Bürs-

tenwalze aus.

Reinigung der Bürstenwalze

1. Gegebenenfalls Bürstenabdeckung de-

montieren: Drehverschlüsse mit einer

Münze um 90° drehen und Bürstenab-

deckung abnehmen.

2. Haare und Fäden, die sich auf der Bürs-

tenwalze aufgewickelt haben, mit einer

Schere durchschneiden und dann ent-

fernen.

Filtertüte wechseln

1. Filterdeckel entriegeln und abnehmen.

2. Verriegelung der Filtertüte zum Öffnen

nach rechts drehen. Filtertüte verschlie-

ßen, herausnehmen und entsorgen.

3. Neue Filtertüte einsetzen und Verriege-

lung der Filtertüte zum Schließen nach

links drehen.

4. Filterdeckel einsetzen und verriegeln.

Abluftfilter austauschen

1. Filterdeckel entriegeln und abnehmen.

2. Verriegelung des Filtergehäuses nach

oben drücken und Filtergehäuse her-

ausnehmen.

3. Abluftfilter aus dem Filtergehäuse her-

ausnehmen.

4. Neuen Abluftfilter in das Filtergehäuse

einsetzen.

5. Filtergehäuse einsetzen und einrasten.

6. Filterdeckel einsetzen und verriegeln.

Motorschutzfilter austauschen

1. Filterdeckel entriegeln und abnehmen.

2. Verriegelung des Motorschutzfilters nach

oben drücken. Verbrauchten Motorschutzfil-

ter entnehmen und entsorgen.

3. Neuen Motorschutzfilter einsetzen und

verriegeln.

4. Filterdeckel einsetzen und verriegeln.

Bürstenwalze austauschen

Achten Sie darauf, dass der Bügel während der

Montage stets vollständig aufgeklappt ist.

1. Bügel am Seitenteil vollständig aufklap-

pen und Seitenteil abnehmen.

2. Verbrauchte Bürstenwalze herauszie-

hen und entsorgen.

3. Neue Bürstenwalze in das Seitenteil ein-

setzen.

4. Seitenteil zusammen mit der Bürsten-

walze in das Gerät schieben.

5. Bügel vollständig zuklappen um Seiten-

teil zu verriegeln.

Installation

Install the loose parts for handle provided

with the device before using the device for

the first time.

1. Open the handle adjustment.

2. Push the metal pipe of the handle into

the mount all the way to the lowest latch-

ing position (latches audibly twice).

3. Insert the handle into the metal pipe and

latch into place. Take care to ensure that

the mains cable is not jammed or twist-

ed.

4. Pull the handle to the first (uppermost)

latching position.

5. Close the handle adjustment.

6. Insert the suction hose into the connec-

tion nozzle.

7. Insert the suction pipe into the mount on

the device

Installing the filter bag

1. Unlock and remove the filter cover.

2. Turn the filter bag lock to the right to un-

lock.

3. Insert the filter bag and turn the filter bag

1. Open the cable holder at the handle.

2. Plug the mains cable provided into the

socket on the device.

3. Secure the plug connection against un-

intentional unplugging using the cable

holder on the handle.

Use only the mains cable provided and only

replace it with an equivalent cable in the

case of damage (see "Technical data").

Operation

Adjusting the height of the handle

The height of the handle is adjustable.

See page 4 for illustrations

1. Open the handle adjustment.

2. Move the handle up or down to set the

desired height.

3. Close the handle adjustment.

Switching on the device

1. Connect the mains plug.

2. Switch on the device at the main switch.

Electronic brush monitoring

The electronic brush monitoring continu-

ously monitors the function of the roller

brush.

The indicator light shows the respective op-

erating mode:

Off: Roller brush functioning correctly.

Lights up orange: Incorrect fibre height

setting - set the fibre height selection

knob to a lower fibre height.

Also lights up orange at the lowest set-

ting: Replace the roller brush.

Note

Visual brush inspection: The degree of

wear can be determined by comparing the

differently coloured indicator tufts. Replace

the roller brush when the black bristles are

the same height as the red bristles.

ATTENTION

Risk of damage to the floor covering!

Do not operate the device continuously at

the same point.

1. Adjust the fibre height using the selec-

tion knob on the brush head.

2. Perform cleaning.

Using accessories

Vacuum with the crevice nozzle and cush-

ion nozzle.

1. Pull the suction pipe out of the mount.

2. Remove the desired accessory from the

storage compartment and plug it onto

the suction pipe.

3. Perform cleaning.

Suction pipe operation

ATTENTION

When vacuuming using the suction hose,

allow the device to latch into position with-

out moving so that the brush motor switch-

es off and does not damage the carpet.

Switching off the device

1. Switch off the device at the main switch.

2. Pull out the mains plug.

Cable storage

The mains cable can be stored on the de-

vice.

1. Wind the mains power cable onto the

winding aid.

2. Wind the mains cable around the cable

hook and handle.

3. To remove the cable, open the cable

hook and remove the cable from the

comparing the differently coloured indicator

Cleaning the roller brush

1. Remove the brush cover if necessary:

Use a coin to turn the rotary lock by 90°

and remove the brush cover.

2. Cut off hair and threads wound onto the

roller brush using scissors and remove

them.

Changing the filter bag

1. Unlock and remove the filter cover.

2. Turn the filter bag lock to the right to un-

lock. Close the filter bag, remove and

dispose of it.

3. Insert a new filter bag and turn the filter

bag lock to the left to lock.

4. Fit and lock the filter cover.

Replacing the exhaust filter

1. Unlock and remove the filter cover.

2. Push the filter casing locking mechanism

upwards and remove the filter casing.

3. Remove the exhaust filter from the filter

casing.

4. Insert a new exhaust filter in the filter

casing.

5. Insert the filter casing and latch it into

place.

6. Fit and lock the filter cover.

Replacing the motor protection filter

1. Unlock and remove the filter cover.

2. Press the motor protection filter lock up-

wards. Remove the old motor protection

filter and dispose of it.

3. Fit and lock the new motor protection filter.

4. Fit and lock the filter cover.

Replacing the roller brush

Please make sure that the bracket is al-

ways completely opened during installa-

tion.

1. Fold the bracket on the side section fully

upwards and remove the side section.

2. Pull out the old roller brush and dispose

of it.

3. Insert a new roller brush in the side section.

4. Push the side section together with the

roller brush into the device.

5. Fold the bracket fully downwards to lock

the side section.

Montage

Monter les pièces détachées de la poignée,

fournies avec l’appareil, avant la mise en

service.

1. Ouvrir le réglage de la poignée.

2. Pousser le tube métallique de la poignée

dans le logement jusqu’à la position

d’enclenchement la plus basse (deux

enclenchements audibles).

3. Emboîter la poignée sur le tube métal-

lique et l’enclencher. Veillez à ce que le

câble de l’appareil ne soit pas coincé, ni

torsionné.

4. Tirer la poignée dans la première posi-

tion d’enclenchement (la plus haute).

5. Fermer le réglage de la poignée.

6. Insérer le tuyau d'aspiration dans la tu-

bulure de raccordement.

7. Insérer le tube d'aspiration dans le loge-

ment sur l’appareil

Mise en service

Monter le sac aspirateur

1. Déverrouiller et retirer le couvercle de

filtre.

2. Tourner le verrouillage du sac aspirateur

vers la droite, pour ouvrir.

3. Insérer le sac aspirateur et tourner le

verrouillage du sac aspirateur vers la

gauche pour fermer.

4. Insérer et verrouiller le couvercle de

filtre.

Raccorder le câble secteur à

l’appareil

1. Ouvrir le porte-câble sur la poignée.

2. Brancher le câble secteur fourni dans le

raccordement sur l'appareil.

3. Bloquer la connexion avec le porte-

câble sur la poignée contre tout débran-

chement intempestif.
