SAFETY INFORMATION
In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before
installing and rst using the appliance, read this user manual
carefully, including its hints and warnings. To avoid unnecessary
mistakes and accidents, it is important to ensure that all people
using the appliance are thoroughly familiar with its operation and
safety features. Save these instructions and make sure that they
remain with the appliance if it is moved or sold, so that everyone
using it through its life will be properly informed on appliance use
and safety.
For the safety of life and property keep theprecautions of these
users instructions as the manufacturer is not responsible for
damages caused by omission.
Children and vulnerable people safety
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsand
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given super vision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplay
with the appliance.
• Cleaningandusermaintenanceshallnotbemadebychildren

accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended
by the manufacturer.
WARNING! Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
WARNING! Do not use other electrical appliances (such as ice
cream makers) inside of refrigerating appliances, unless they are
approved for this purpose by the manufacture.
WARNING! Do not touch the light bulb if it has been on for a
long period of time because it could be very hot.
• Donotstoreexplosivesubstancessuchasaerosolcanswitha
ammable propellant in this appliance.
• Therefrigerantisobutane(R600a)iscontainedwithinthe
refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high
level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless
ammable.
• Duringtransportationandinstallationoftheappliance,be
certain that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit
become damaged.

WARNING! The light bulb supplied with this appliance is a
special use lamp bulb usable only with the appliance supplied.
This “special use lamp is not usable for domestic lighting.

• Appliancesmanufacturesstoragerecommendationsshouldbe
strictly adhered to. Refer to relevant instructions.
• Donotplacecarbonatedofzzydrinksinthefreezer
compartment as it creates pressure on the container, which may
cause it to explode, resulting in damage to the appliance.
• Icelolliescancausefrostburnsifconsumedstraightfromthe
appliance.

Care and cleaning
• Beforemaintenance,switchotheapplianceanddisconnect
the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Donotcleantheappliancewithmetalobjects.
• Donotusesharpobjectstoremovefrostfromtheappliance.
Use a plastic scraper.
Installation
Important! For electrical connection carefully follow the
instructions given in specic paragra-phs.
• Unpacktheapplianceandcheckifthereareda-magesonit.
Do not connect the appliance it is damaged. Report possible
damages immediately to the place you bought it. In that case
retain packing.
• Itisadvisabletowaitatleastfourhoursbeforeconnectingthe
appliance to allow the oil to ow back in the compressor.
• Adequateaircirculationshouldbearoundtheappliance,lacking
this leads to overheating. To achieve sucient ventilation follow
the instructions relevant to installation.
• Whereverpossiblethespacersoftheproductshouldbeagainst
a wall to avoid touching or catching warm parts (compressor,
con-denser) to prevent possible burn.
• Theappliancemustnotbelocatedclosetoradiatorsorcookers.
• Makesurethatthemainsplugisaccessibleaftertheinstallation
of the appliance.
Service
• Anyelectricalworkrequiredtodotheservicingoftheappliance
should be carried out by a qualied electrician or competent
person.
• ThisproductmustbeservicedbyanauthorizedServiceCenter,
and only genuine spare parts must be used.

Energy saving
• Don’tputhotfoodintheappliance.

this appliance.
• WARNING!Whenpositioningtheappliance,ensurethesupply
cord is not trapped or damaged.
• WARNING!Donotlocatemultipleportablesocket-outletsor
portable power suppliers at the rear of the appliance.
• Toavoidcontaminationoffood,pleaserespectthefollowing
instructions
- Opening the door for long periods can causea signicant
increase of the temperature in the compartments of the
appliance.
- Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food
and accessible drainage systems.
- Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48h; ush
the water system connected to a water supply if water has not
been drawn for 5 days.
- Store raw meat and sh in suitable containers in the
refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other
food.
- Two-star frozen-food compartments (if they are presented in
the appliance) are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing
or making ice-cream and making ice cubes.
- One-, two- and three -star compartments (if they are
presented in the appliance) are not suitable for the freezing of
fresh food.

- If the appliance is left empty for long periods, switch o,
defrost, clean, dry and leave the door open to prevent mount
developing within the appliance.
WARNING! During using, service and disposal the appliance,
please pay attention to symbol similar as left side, which is
located on rear of appliance (rear panel or compressor) and
with yellow or orange color. It’s risk of re warning symbol.
There are ammable materials in refrigerant pipes and
compressor. Please be far away re source during
using,service and disposal.

Environment Protection
This appliance does not contain gasses which could damage the
ozone layer, in either its refrige¬rant circuit or insulation materials.
The appliance shall not be discarded together with the urban
refuse and rubbish. The insulation foam contains ammable gases:
the appliance shall be disposed according to the appliance
regulations to obtain from your local authorities. Avoid damaging
the cooling unit, especially the heat exchanger. The materials used
on this appliance marked by the symbol are recyclable.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates
that this product may not be treated as household waste.
Instead it should be taken to the appropriate collection
point for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment.Byensuringthisproductisdisposedofcorrectly,
you will help prevent poten¬tial negative consequences for the
environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused
by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed

Install door external handle (if external handle is present)

Take out 4 screws (1) and handle base (2) from accessory bag.
Then x the handle base (2) with door by 4 screws (1).

If the lock ring failed to hold the lock when installing handle, please unscrew the round
headscrews(5)onthebackofdoorandadjustthepositionofdoorupperandlower.
Then drive the screw to x the handle.

Positioning
Install this appliance at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the
climate class indicated on the rating plate of the appliance:
For refrigerating appliances with climate class:
—extended temperate: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperatures ranging from 10 °C to 32 °C (SN);
—temperate: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperaturesrangingfrom16°Cto32°C(N);
—subtropical: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperaturesrangingfrom16°Cto38°C(ST);
—tropical: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures
rangingfrom16°Cto43°C(T);
Location
The appliance should be installed well away from sources of heat such as radiators,
boilers, direct sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely around the cabinet.
Warning! It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the mains power
supply; the plug must therefore be easily accessible after installation.
Electrical connection
Beforepluggingin,ensurethatthevoltageandfrequencyshownontheratingplate
correspond to your domestic power supply. The appliance must be earthed. The power
supply cable plug is provided with a contact for this purpose. If the domestic power
supply socket is not earthed, connect the appliance to a separate earth in compliance
with current regulations, consulting a qualied electrician.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility if the above safety precautions are not
observed.
This appliance complies with the E.E.C. Directives.
DAILY USE
First use
Cleaning the interior
Beforeusingtheapplianceforthersttime,washtheinteriorandallinternal
accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical
smell of a brand new product, then dry thoroughly.
Important! Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the nish.

1.0 Electrical connection
When the appliance is plugged in, all LED indicator lights will ash once.
2.0 Temperature Setting
Setting: Press “SET” button, enter the temperature setting mode. The temperature
indicator bar of temperature goes up a scale by each press. This setting runs in cycles.
Temperature can run from Scale MIN to Scale MAX. Scale MAX is the coldest. The
temperature is automatically set in 5 seconds after last press.
Super Freezing:
• Press“SETbuttonconsecutivelytoenter“SUPER”freezingmodefromScaleMAX,
the indicator bar on the left hereby will turn dark whereas the indicator light of
“SUPER” turns on. This mode is automatically set in 5 seconds after last press.
• Thecompressorkeepsworkingin“SUPERfreezingmode.
• Ifthe“SUPER”modekeepsrunningfor52hoursandnotstoppedmanually,the
system will automatically cut out this mode, with the temperature back at Scale 5.

Impact on food storage
Under recommended setting, the best storage time of freezer compartment is no more
than 1 month. The best storage time may reduce under other settings.
2.1 Power On & Power O
If the appliance is working, press “ON/OFF” for 3 seconds to turn o.
If the appliance is o, press “ON/OFF” for 3 seconds to turn on.

3.0 Indicator Lights
• TemperatureIndicatorLight(BrightBlue):ToadjustthetemperaturefromScaleMIN
to Scale MAX. MAX is the coldest.
• SuperFreezingIndicatorLight(BrightBlue):Lighton=in“SUPERmode;lighto=
exit “SUPER” mode.
• RunningIndicatorLight(BrightGreen):Lighton=compressorinwork;lighto=
compressor stops.
• 30minutesafterthelastoperation,theindicatorlightwillbeoninhalfluminance.
4.0 Resumption Function
The appliance will automatically resume the mode previously set before the electrical
outage.
Freezing fresh food
• Thefreezercompartmentissuitableforfreezingfreshfoodandstoringfrozenand
deep-frozen food for a long time.
• Placethefreshfoodtobefrozeninthebottomcompartment.
• Themaximumamountoffoodthatcanbefrozenin12hoursisspeciedonthe
rating plate.
• Thefreezingprocesslasts12hours:duringthisperioddonotaddotherfoodtobe
frozen.
Storing frozen food
Whenrststarting-uporafteraperiodoutofuse.Beforeputtingtheproductinthe
compartment let the appliance run at least 2 hours on the higher settings.
Important!Intheeventofaccidentaldefrosting,forexamplethepowerhasbeeno
for longer than the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under “rising
time”, the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then
re-frozen (after cooked).
Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to be used, can be thawed in a fridge compartment or
at room temperature, depending on the time available for this operation.
Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the freezer. In this case,
cooking will take longer.
Helpful hints and tips Hints for freezing
To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints:
• themaximumquantityoffoodwhichcanbefrozenin12hrs.isshownontherating
plate;
• thefreezingprocesstakes12hours.Nofurtherfoodtobefrozenshouldbeadded
during this period;
• tostarttheSUPERfunction24hoursbeforeplacingfoodinappliancecanhelpthe
best freezing capacity;

• onlyfreezetopquality,freshandthoroughlycleaned,foodstus;
• preparefoodinsmallportionstoenableittoberapidlyandcompletelyfrozenand
to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required;
• wrapupthefoodinaluminiumfoilorpolytheneandmakesurethatthepackages
are airtight;
• donotallowfresh,unfrozenfoodtotouchfoodwhichisalreadyfrozen,thus
avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter;
• leanfoodsstorebetterandlongerthanfattyones;saltreducesthestoragelifeoffood;
• waterices,ifconsumedimmediatelyafterremovalfromthefreezercompartment,
can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt;
• itisadvisabletoshowthefreezingindateoneachindividualpacktoenableyouto
keep tab of the storage time;
• packscanpossiblycausetheskintobefreezeburnt.
Hints for storage of frozen food
To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should:
• makesurethatthecommerciallyfrozenfoodstuswereadequatelystoredbythe
retailer;
• besurethatfrozenfoodstusaretransferredfromthefoodstoretothefreezerinthe
shortest possible time;
• notopenthedoorfrequentlyorleaveitopenlongerthanabsolutelynecessary.
• Oncedefrosted,fooddeterioratesrapidlyandcannotberefrozen.
• Donotexceedthestorageperiodindicatedbythefoodmanufacture.
Cleaning
For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories, should be
cleaned regularly.
Caution! The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning.
Dangerof‘*electricalshock!Beforecleaningswitchtheapplianceoandremove
the plug from the mains, or switch o or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse. Never
clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumulate in electrical
components,dangerofelectricalshock!Hotvaporscanleadtothedamageof
plastic parts. The appliance must be dry before it is placed back into service.
Important! Etherealoilsandorganicsolventscanattackplasticparts,e.g.lemonjuice
orthejuiceformorangepeel,butyricacid,cleanserthatcontainaceticacid.
• Donotallowsuchsubstancestocomeintocontacttheapplianceparts.
• Donotuseanyabrasivecleaners
• Removethefoodfromthefreezer.Storetheminacoolplace,wellcovered.
• Switchtheapplianceoandremovetheplugfromthemains,orswitchoorturn
out the circuit breaker of fuse.
• Cleantheapplianceandtheinterioraccessorieswithaclothandlukewarmwater.
After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry.

Defrosting of the freezer
The freezer, however, will become progressively covered with frost. This should be
removed.
Never use sharp metal tools to scrape o frost from the evaporator as you could
damage it.
However, when the ice becomes very thick on the inner liner, complete defrosting
should be carried out as follows:
• Unplugtheunit.Removethedrainplugfromtheinsideofthefreezer.Defrosting
usually takes a few hours. To defrost faster keep the freezer door open.
• Fordraining,placeatraybeneaththeouterdrainplug.Pulloutthedraindial.
• Rotatethedraindial180degree.Thiswillletthewaterowoutinthetray.When
done, push the drain dial in. Replug the drain plug inside the freezer compartment.
Note: monitor the container under the drain to avoid overow.
• Wipetheinteriorofthefreezerandreplacetheelectricalplugintheelectricaloutlet.
• Resetthetemperaturecontroltothedesiredsetting.

Caution! Only a qualied electrician of competent person must do the
troubleshooting that is not in this manual.
Important! There are some sounds during normal use (compressor, refrigerant
circulation).

it by some articles.
The appliance is touching the
wallorotherobjects. Move the appliance slightly.
A component, e.g. a pipe, in
the side of the appliance is
touching another part of the
appliance or the wall.
If necessary, carefully bend the
component out of the way.

If the malfunction shows again, contact the Service Center.
Authorized service center contact information can be found at www.lord.eu.
Spare parts can also be ordered at the authorized service center.
According to the respective ecodesign regulation, spare parts can be obtained from
the authorized service center for at least 7 or 10 years (based on the spare part type)
since the last appliance model item has been placed on the market of the European
Economic Area.
Please have the identication mark of the model and the serial number at hand before
contacting the authorized service center.
The identication mark of the model and the serial number of the product can be
found at the rating label placed on the outside surface at the rear of the appliance.
We recommend that you write the data from the production label into this manual
before you place the appliance to the place where it will be operated to facilitate
nding the data later.

When LED lamp does not work when door is open, please contact an authorized
service.
