lected a high quality product. The instructions for use

are a part of this product. They contain important

information about safety, use and disposal. Before

using the product, please familiarise yourself with

all the operating and safety instructions. Only use

the product as described and for the indicated pur-

pose. When passing this product on to others please

be sure to also include all of its documentation.

Intended use

The hammer drill and chisel hammer PBH 1050 B2

is suitable for:

- Hammer drilling bricks, concrete and stone

- Chiseling concrete, stone and plaster

- Drilling stone, wood and metal

Any other use or modifying the device is considered

improper use and involves considerable accident risks.

The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused

by improper use.

The device is not intended for commercial use.

these instructions was measured in accordance with

an EN 60745 standardised measurement process

and can be used to compare equipment. The vibra-

tion emission value speciﬁed can also serve as a

preliminary assessment of the exposure.

The vibrati

on level may change with the application

of the tool and in some cases may be higher than

the value speciﬁed in these instructions. Regularly

using the electric tool in such a way may make it

easy to underestimate the vibration.

Note: If you wish to make an accurate assessment

of the vibration loads experienced during a particu-

lar period of work, you should also take into account

the intervening periods of time when the device is

switched oﬀ or is running but is not actually in use.

This can clearly reduce the vibration load through-

out the work period.

1. Work area safety

a) Keep work area clean and well lit.

Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

b) D

o not operate power tools in explosive

atmospheres, such as in the presence

of flammable liquids, gases or dust.

Power tools create sparks which may ignite the

dust or fumes.

c) Keep children and bystanders away

while operating a power tool. Distractio

can cause you to lose control.

2. Electrical safety

a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet.

Never modify the plug in any way. Do

not use any adapter plugs with earthed

(grounded) power tools. Unmodiﬁed plug

and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric

shock.

b) Avoid body contact with earthed or

grounded surfaces, such as pipes,

radiators, ranges and refrigerators.

There is an increased risk of electric shock if

your body is earthed or grounded.

c) Do not expose power tools to rain or

wet conditions. Water entering a power tool

will increase the risk of electric shock.

d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the

cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging

the power tool. Keep cord away from

heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.

Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk

of electric shock.

When operating a power tool outdo

ors,

use an extension cord suitable for out-

door use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor

use reduces the risk of electric shock.

f) If operating a power tool in a damp

location is unavoidable, use a residual

current device (RCD) protected supply.

Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety

a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing

and use common sense when operat-

ing a power tool. Do not use a power

tool while you are tired or under the

influence of drugs, alcohol or medica-

tion. A moment of inattention while operating

power tools may result in serious personal injury.

b) Use personal protective equipment.

Always wear eye protection. Protective

equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety

shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for

appropriate conditions will reduce personal in-

juries.

c) Avoid accidental starting. Verify the po-

wer tool is switched oﬀ before connec-

ting it to the mains and / or connecting

the battery, picking it up, or carrying it.

Accidents can happen if you carry the device

with your ﬁnger on the ON / OFF switch or with

the device switched on.

d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench

before turning the power tool on. A

wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part

of the power tool may result in personal injury.

e) Do not overreach. Keep proper foot-

ing and balance at all times. This enables

better control of the power tool in unexpected

situations.

f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose

clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair,

clothing and gloves away from mov-

ing parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long

hair can be caught in moving parts.

g) If devices are provided for the connec-

tion of dust extraction and collection

facilities, ensure these are connected

and properly used. Use of dust collection

can reduce dust-related hazards.

4. Power tool use and care

a) Do not force the power tool. Use the

correct power tool for your applica

tion.

The correct power tool will do the job better

and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

b) Do not use the power tool if the switch

does not turn it on and off. Any power

tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is

dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Pull the mains plug out of the socket

and / or remove the rechargeable bat-

tery before you make any adjustments

to the device, change accessories or

when the device is put away. This pre-

caution is intended to prevent the device from

unintentionally starting.

d) Store idle power tools out of the reach

of children and do not allow persons

unfamiliar with the power tool or these

instructions to operate the power tool.

Power tools are dangerous in the hands of un-

trained users.

e) Maintain power tools. Check for mis-

alignment or binding of moving parts,

breakage of parts and any other con-

dition that may affect the power tool’s

operation. If damaged, have the power

tool repaired before use. Many accidents

are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.

Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp

cutting edges are less likely to bind and are

easier to control.

g) Use the power tool, accessories and

tool bits etc. in accordance with these

instructions, taking into account the

working conditions and the work to

be performed. Use of the power tool for

operations diﬀerent from those intended could

result in a hazardous situation.

5. Service

a) Have your power tool serviced by a

qualified repair person using only

iden-

tical replacement parts. This will ensure

that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Wear hearing protection!

Exposure to noise can cause hear-

ing loss.

Use the additional handle when using

the device. Losing control can lead to injury.

Hold the device by the insulated han-

dles when performing work n appli-

cations where a potential danger of

the tool striking hidden electrical lines

or its own power cable. Contact with a

live wire could cause metal parts of the device

to become live and lead to electric shock.

Wear a dust mask!

TOXIC DUST! Working on

materials which can produce harmful / toxic dusts

presents a health risk to the user and people

within close vicinity.

CAUTION - LEADS! DANGER! Verify you will

not strike electric-, gas- or water lines whilst using

the power tool. If necessary, ﬁrst use a cable de

tector before drilling into or cutting open a wall.

The position of the additional handle

can be

adjusted. Turn the wing screw

anti-clockwise

and swivel the additional handle

into the

desired position.

Then tighten the wing screw

again.

This unit features an LED

connecting the device to the mains. This indicates

the device is energised and will start immediate-

ly when pressing the ON / OFF switch

ly locked in place. The tool has some radial play

inherent in the system.

Which speed is most suitable depends on the

material you will be working on. We recommend

testing the speed to determine the correct setting.

Tip: These two basic rules about speeds are always

helpful:

1. larger bore diameter = lower speed and vice

versa, smaller bore diameter = higher speed

2. hard material = low speed

Maintenance and Cleaning

RISK OF INJURY! Switch the

device oﬀ and unplug from the mains socket before

performing any work on the device.

Always keep the device clean, dry and free of

oil or grease.

Do not allow liquids to enter the hammer drill.

Use a dry cloth to clean the housing.

Regularly clean the tool holder

Have your appliance

repaired by qualified professionals

using OEM parts only. This will maintain

the safety of the device.

If the connection cable needs

to be replaced, this repair must be performed

by the manufacturer or a representative to pre-

vent safety hazards.

switches) can be ordered through our call centre.

Warranty

The warranty for this appliance is for 3

years from the date of purchase. The ap-

pliance has been manufactured with care

and meticulously examined before deliv-

ery. Please retain your receipt as proof

of purchase. In the event of a warranty

claim, please make contact by telephone

with our Service Department. Only in this

way can a post-free despatch for your

goods be assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and

maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,

for wearing parts or for damage to fragile compo-

nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for pri-

vate use only and is not intended for commercial use.

The warranty is void in the case of abusive and im-

proper handling, use of force and internal tamper-

mos szerszám“ fogalom a hálózatról üzemeltetett

1. A munkahely biztonsága

a) Tartsa a munka környékét tisztán és

jól megvilágítva. Rendetlenség és kivilágí-

tatlan munkakörnyezet balesetekhez vezethet.

b) Ne dolgozzon a készülékkel robba-

násveszélyes környezetben, amely

ben

gyúlékony folyadékok, gázak vagy

porok találhatók. Az elektromos készülé-

kek szikrákat hoznak létre, amelyek a porokat

vagy a gőzöket meggyújthatják.

c) Tartsa a gyerekeket és más személye-

ket is az elektromos szerszámok

használata közben távol. Ha a ﬁgyelme

elterelődik elveszítheti a készülék feletti uralmát.

2. Elektromos biztonsága

a) A készülék csatlakozó dugójának

találni kell a dugaljzatba. A dugót

semmilyen módon sem szabad

megváltoztatni. Ne alkalmazzon

adapterdugót védőföldeléses készü-

lékekkel együtt. Változatlan és találó du-

galjzatok csökkentik az áramütés veszélyét.

b) Kerülje el a testrészeinek a földelt

felületekkel, mint pld. csövekkel, fűtő-

testekkel, tűzhelyekkel és hűtőszekré-

nyekkel való érintkezését. Az áramütés

veszélye nagyobb, ha a teste földelve van.

c) Tartsa a készüléket esőtől vagy ned-

vességtől távol. Víznek a készülékbe való

behatolása megnöveli az áramütés kockázatát.

d) Ne használja a készülék kábelét a

rendeltetésétől eltérően a készülék

hordozására, felakasztására, vagy a

hálózati dugónak a dugaljzatból való

kihúzására. Tartsa a kábelt hőtől, olaj-

tól, éles szélektől, vagy mozgásban

levő készülékrészektől távol. Sérült, vagy

összekuszálodott kábelek növelik az áramütés

kockázatát.

e) Ha egy ekektromos készülékkel a

szabadban dolgozik, csak olyan hosz-

szabbító kábeleket használjon, ame-

lyek külterületre is engedélyezettek.

A külterületre engedélyezett kábel alkalmazá-

sa csökkenti az áramütés kockázatát.

f) Ha az elektromos szerszámnak nedves

környezetben való üzemeltetése nem

kerülhető el, alkalmazzon hibaáram

védőkapcsolót. A hibaáram védőkapcsoló

alkalmazása csökkenti az áramütés kockázatát.

3. Személyek biztonsága

a) Egy elektromos szerszámmal való

munka végzése során legyen mindig

figyelmes, ügyeljen arra, amit tesz és

járjon el mindig meggondoltan. Ne

használja a készüléket ha fáradt, vagy

ha drogok, alkohol, vagy orvosságok

hatása alatt áll. A készülék használata

közben már egy pillanat ﬁgyelmetlenség is

komoly sérülésekhez vezethet.

b) Viseljen személyi védőfelszereléseket

és mindig védőszemüveget. A személyi

védőfelszereléseknek mint pld. porvédő álarc-

nak, csúszásbiztos cipőnek, védősisaknak

vagy hallásvédőnek az elektromos szerszám

alkalmazásának a módja és alkalmazása sze-

rinti viselése, csökkenti a sérülések veszélyét.

c) Kerülje el a nem szándékos üzembe-

vételt. Kerülje a nem szándékos üzem-

bevételt. Bizonyosodjon meg róla, hogy

az elektromos szerszám ki van kapc-

solva mielőtt azt az áramforráshoz és /

vagy az akkuhoz csatlakoztatja, fele-

meli vagy hordozza. Ha a készülék hordo-

zása közben az ujját a BE- / KI-kapcsolón tart-

ja, vagy a készülék be van kapcsolva, az bal-

esetekhez vezethet.

d) Mielőtt a készüléket bekapcsolná,

távolítsa el a beállító szerszámokat,

vagy csavarkulcsokat. Egy forgásban

levő készülékrészben található szerszám vagy

kulcs sérülésekhez vezethet.

e) Kerülje el a szokatlan testartásokat.

egyensúlyát. Ezáltal, különösen a váratlan

szituációk előállása esetén, a készüléket job-

ban ellenőrizheti.

f) Viseljen megfelelő ruházatot. Ne vi-

seljen laza ruházatot, vagy ékszereket.

Tartsa a haját, a ruházatát és a kesz-

tyűjét távol a mozgó részektől. A laza

ruházatot, az ékszereket, vagy a hosszú hajat

a mozgásban levő részek elkaphatják.

g) Ha porelszívó vagy felfogó berendezé-

seket szereltek fel, bizonyosodjon meg

róla, hogy azok csatlakoztatva vannak

e és hogy az alkalmazásuk helyes e.

Ezeknek a berendezéseknek az alkalmazása

csökkenti a porok általi veszélyeztetéseket.

4. Az elektromos szerszámokkal

való gondos járás és azok

gondos használata

a) A készüléket ne terhelje túl. A munká-

jához használja az arra a célra való

elektromos szerszámot. A találó elektro-

mos szerszámmal a megadott teljesítménytarto-

mányban jobban és biztonságosabban dolgo

zik.

b) Ne használjon olyan elektromos szer-

számot, amelynek a kapcsolója hibás.

Egy elektromos szerszám, amelyet nem lehet be-

és kikapcsolni veszélyes és azt meg kell javíttatni.

c) Mielőtt a készülék beállításait elvégzi,

tartozékrészeket cserél vagy a készü-

léket elteszi, húzza ki a csatlakozó

dugót a csatlakozó dugaljzatból és /

vagy távolítsa el az akkut. Ez az óvin-

tézkedés meggátolja az elektromos szerszám

véletlenszerű beindítását.

d) Tárolja a nem használatban levő

elek-tromos készülékeket a gyerekek

hatótávolságán kívül. Ne hagyja, hogy

f) Tartsa a vágószerszámokat élesen és

tisztán. Az éles vágószélekkel rendelkező

gondosan ápolt vágószerszámok kevésbbé

szorulnak be és könnyebb azoknak vezetni.

g) Alkalmazza az elektromos szerszámot,

a tartozékokat, a betétszerszámokat

stb. Ennek az utasításnak megfelelő-
