instructions are a part of this product. They contain important information on

its safety, use and disposal. Familiarise yourself with all of these operating and

safety instructions before using the product. Use this appliance only as described

and only for the speciﬁ ed areas of application. Additionally, pass these instruc-

tions on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

This appliance is intended exclusively for chopping small quantities of boneless

foodstuﬀ s.

This appliance in intended exclusively for use in domestic households. Do not use

the appliance commercially!

Safety instructions

DANGER - RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

► Connect the universal food processor only to properly installed

power sockets with a mains voltage of 220 - 240 V

and 50 Hz.

► To avoid potentially fatal risks, arrange for a defective power

plug and/or cable to be replaced at once by qualiﬁ ed techni-

cians or our Customer Service Department.

► Unplug the universal food processor from the socket if you notice

any faulty operation and when you decide to clean it.

► Always remove the power cable from the socket by pulling on the

plug, do not pull on the cable itself.

► Do not crease or crimp the power cable and place the power cable

in such a way to prevent anyone from stepping or tripping over it.

Do not submerse the motor block of the universal food

processor in liquids at any time and do not permit liquids to

penetrate into the housing of the motor block.

► NEVER subject the appliance to moisture and do not use it

outdoors. If by chance liquids do enter into the housing, unplug

the appliance from the power socket immediately and have it

repaired by a qualiﬁ ed technician.

► Never grasp the universal food processor, the power cable or the

plug with wet hands.

► Should the power cable or motor block become damaged, arrange

for the universal food processor to be repaired by a qualiﬁ ed spe-

cialist before using it again. Do not open the motor block housing

of the universal food processor. Should you do so, appliance safety

can no longer be assured and the warranty becomes void.

► Separate your universal food processor from the mains supply im-

mediately after use. The appliance is completely free of electrical

power only when you unplug it.

► Before changing accessories or additional parts that are in motion

during operation, the appliance must be switched oﬀ and discon-

nected from mains power.

► Never use the appliance for purposes other than those described

in these instructions.

► Take care when emptying the bowl! The blade is very sharp!

► Take care when cleaning the appliance! The blade is very sharp!

► The appliance should always be disconnected from the mains when

not supervised and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

► This appliance may not be used by children.

► The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from

children.

► This appliance may be used by people with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or

knowledge if they are supervised and have been instructed in

how to use the appliance safely and have understood the

potential risks.

► Children must not play with the device.

► Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.

► Handle the extremely sharp blade with caution, it can cause

injuries. Reassemble the universal food processor after using and

cleaning it so that you do not injure yourself with the blade. Keep

the blade out of the reach of children.

► Never attempt to remove foodstuﬀ s from the vessel as long as the

blade is still running. Risk of serious injury!

► Before removing the motor block, wait until the knife has stopped

rotating. NEVER try to grasp the still rotating knife blade!

CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Pay heed to the table of ﬁ lling quantities in the chapter “Chopping”.

If you do not, there is a risk of soiling due to content being

squeezed out.

► Do NOT clean the motor block in the dish-washer, doing so

would damage it.

Initial Preparations

Unpacking

♦ Remove all components of the appliance and these operating instructions

from the carton.

♦ Remove all packaging material.

♦ Clean all of the components as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging

materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness

and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and

reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is

no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

NOTICE

►

If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appli-

ance ideally for its return.

Chopping

1) Place the bowl 7 in the appliance base 8.

2) Place the blade holder 5 with the blade 6 on the drive shaft in the interior

of the bowl 7.

3) Prepare the items to be processed by cutting large pieces to a size that will

ﬁ t in the bowl 7.

4) Place the food to be processed in the bowl 7. Thereby, pay heed to the

following table:

5) Ensure that the sealing ring 4 is inserted into the lid 3: the two rubber lips

on the sealing ring 4 must engage in the plastic rail in the interior of the lid 3.

6) Then close the bowl 7 with the lid 3: Place it on the bowl 7 so that the

lugs on the lid 3 engage in the slots on the bowl 7. Then turn the lid 3

so that the lugs slide under the slots and the lid 3 locks into place.

7) Place the motor unit 2 on the lid 3.

8) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

9) Press the motor unit 2 down to start the motor at normal operating speed.

10) To obtain the higher processing speed “Turbo“ for the contents, in addition

to the motor unit 2 press and hold down the turbo button 1. As soon

as you release the turbo button 1 the appliance returns to the normal

operating speed.

NOTICE

►

Should larger pieces of the contents collect on the wall of the bowl while

processing, lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3. Shake the bowl 7 vigor-

ously and then continue with the processing. Remove possible residues with

a dough scraper.

► Before starting the processing, particularly hard foods must be cut into

smaller pieces (about 2cm). Otherwise, the motor will block. Select a

pulsating processing for hard foodstuﬀ s. For this, press the turbo button 1

repeatedly for a short time (in addition to the motor block 2). Should the

foodstuﬀ not be completely chopped, you can either cut it into smaller

pieces or lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3. Shake the bowl 7 vigorously

and then continue with the processing.

11) When the contents have been suﬃ ciently chopped, release the motor unit 2

and, if necessary, the turbo button 1.

12) Remove the power plug from the mains power socket.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

► Never attempt to remove foodstuﬀ s from the bowl 7 as long as the

blade 6 is still rotating. Contents could shoot out and make a mess.

13) Wait until the blade 6 has stopped rotating.

14) Lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3 and remove it.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

► To prevent injuries, exercise caution when handling the extremely sharp

blade 6. Keep the blade 6 out of the reach of children.

15) Carefully pull the blade holder 5 with the blade 6 out of the bowl 7.

16) Remove the contents.

NOTICE

►

Due to the grinding of hard and abrasive foodstuﬀ s, the bowl 7 can take

on a dull appearance over time. This is normal and does not inﬂ uence the

functioning of the appliance.

NOTICE

►

You can use the appliance base 8, after the processing of the foods has

been completed, as a lid for the bowl 7, to help keep the food fresh for

longer.

► Take the motor unit 2 and lid 3 oﬀ of the bowl 7.

► The blade holder 5 with the blade 6 can, if you wish, remain in the

bowl 7.

► Disconnect the appliance base 8 from the underside of the bowl 7. You

can now place the appliance base 8 on the bowl 7 and press it in the

middle so that it closes the bowl 7.

Cleaning and care

DANGER - RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

►

Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket!

There is the risk of receiving an electric shock!

► Do not open any part of the housing. There are no user-serviceable elements

inside. An open housing can create the risk of a lethal electrical shock.

NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! This would

increase the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock should liquids

come into contact with power carrying components.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

► To prevent injuries, exercise caution when handling the extremely sharp

blade 6. Reassemble the Universal Food Processor after using and/or

cleaning it so that you do not injure yourself on the exposed blade 6.

Keep the blade 6 out of the reach of children.

CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!

►

Do not clean the motor unit 2, the appliance base 8 and the sealing

ring 4 in a dishwasher, as this would damage them.

► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These could attack

the upper surfaces and irreparably damage the appliance.

■ Remove the plug from the mains power socket.

■ Clean the motor unit 2 with a moist cloth. Dry it well.

■ Remove the sealing ring 4 from the lid 3 and release the appliance base 8

from the bowl 7.

■ The bowl 7, the lid 3 and the blade holder 5 with the blade 6 are

dishwasher safe.

■ Clean the sealing ring 4 and the appliance base 8 in water and add a mild

detergent. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean water so that no detergent

residues remain. Ensure that everything is dryed thoroughly before reassem-

bling the appliance.

Storage

■ Clean the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.

■ Store the appliance in a dry and clean location.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive

2012/19/EU.

Dispose of this appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your

You receive a 3-year warranty for this appliance as of the purchase date. This

appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before

delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,

please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service department. Only

in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

NOTICE

The warranty covers only material or manufacturing faults, but not for

transport damage, normal wear and tear or damage to fragile parts, such

as switches.

This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial applica-

tions. In the event of misuse and improper handling, use of force and interference

not carried out by our authorised service branch, the warranty will become void.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.

The warranty period is not extended by repairs eﬀ ected under warranty. This applies

Biztonsági utasítások

VESZÉLY - ELEKTROMOS ÁRAMÜTÉS!

► Az univerzális aprítót csak előírásszerűen beszerelt (220 - 240 V

50 Hz) dugaszoló aljzatba csatlakoztassa.

► A veszélyek elkerülése érdekében a sérült hálózati csatlakozót

vagy vezetéket azonnal cseréltesse ki engedélyeztetett szakem-

berrel vagy az ügyfélszolgálattal.

► Üzemzavar esetén, vagy az univerzális aprító tisztításának meg-

kezdése előtt húzza ki a csatlakozó dugót a csatlakozóaljzatból.

► Soha ne húzza ki a csatlakozót a konnektorból a kábelnél fogva,

a csatlakozóvéget fogja meg.

► Ne hajlítgassa és ne nyomja össze a hálózati kábelt, és olyan

módon fektesse le a hálózati kábelt, hogy senki se taposhasson

rá vagy botolhasson meg benne.

Az univerzális aprító motoregységét semmiképpen sem

szabad folyadékba meríteni és nem szabad hagyni, hogy

folyadék kerüljön a motorblokk házába.

► A készüléket nem szabad nedvességnek kitenni és a szabadban

használni. Ha mégis folyadék kerülne a készülékházba, azonnal

húzza ki a készülék hálózati dugóját a csatlakozó aljzatból és

javíttassa képzett szakemberrel.

► Az univerzális aprítót, a hálózati kábelt és a dugaszt soha ne

fogja meg nedves kézzel.

► Ha a hálózati kábel vagy a motorblokk sérült, javíttassa az

univerzális aprítót szakemberrel, mielőtt újra használná azt.

Az univerzális aprító motorblokkjának házát tilos kinyitnia.

Ez nem biztonságos és a garancia is érvényességét veszti.

► Az univerzális aprítót használat után azonnal áramtalanítsa.

A készülék csak akkor árammentes, ha a hálózati dugót kihúzza

a csatlakozó aljzatból.

FIGYELMEZTETÉS - SÉRÜLÉSVESZÉLY!

► A használat közben mozgó tartozékok vagy kiegészítők cseréje

előtt a készüléket ki kell kapcsolni és le kell választani a hálózatról.

► Ne használja a készüléket az ebben az útmutatóban leírtaktól

eltérő célra.

► Óvatosan végezze a tál ürítését! A kés nagyon éles!

► Óvatosan végezze a készülék tisztítását! a kés nagyon éles!

► A készüléket felügyelet nélkül hagyva és az összeszerelés, a

szétszedés vagy a tisztítás előtt mindig válassza le a hálózatról.

► A készüléket gyermekeknek nem szabad használni.

► A készüléket és csatlakozóvezetékét gyermekektől távol kell tartani.

► Ezt a készüléket korlátozott testi, érzékelési vagy szellemi képes-

séggel rendelkező illetve tapasztalat és ismeret híján lévő szemé-

lyeknek használhatják, ha felügyelet alatt állnak vagy a készülék

biztonságos használatára betanították őket és az abból eredő

veszélyeket megértették.

► Gyerekeknek nem szabad a készülékkel játszani.

► Vigyázni kell a gyerekekre, hogy ne játsszanak a készülékkel.

► A különlegesen éles kés megérintése balesetveszélyes. Használat

és tisztítás után szerelje össze az univerzális aprítót, hogy a szaba-

don lévő kés ne okozhasson sérüléseket. Olyan módon helyezze el

a kést, hogy a gyermekek ne férhessenek hozzá.

► Addig ne távolítsa el az élelmiszert a tálból, amíg a kés még

mozog. Sérülésveszély!

► Várja meg, amíg a kés megáll, mielőtt leszedné a motorblokkról.

Ne nyúljon bele a még forgó késbe! Sérülésveszély!

FIGYELEM - ANYAGI KÁR VESZÉLYE!

► Vegye ﬁ gyelembe az “Aprítás” fejezetben megadott töltési meny-

nyiségeket tartalmazó táblázatot. Ellenkező esetben szennyeződés

veszélye áll fenn a kitüremkedő betöltött élelmiszer miatt. fenn a
