c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the

switch is in the o-position before connecting

to power source and/or battery pack, picking up

or carrying the tool.

Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch

or energising power tools that have the switch on

invites accidents.

d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before

turning the power tool on.

A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of

the power tool may result in personal injury.

e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and

balance at all times.

This enables better control of the power tool in

unexpected situations.

f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or

jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away

from moving parts.

Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in

moving parts.

g) If devices are provided for the connection of

dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure

these are connected and properly used.

Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related

hazards.

h) Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use

of tools allow you to become complacent and

ignore tool safety principles.

A careless action can cause severe injury within a

fraction of a second.

4) Power tool use and care

a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct

power tool for your application.

The correct power tool will do the job better and safer

at the rate for which it was designed.

b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not

turn it on and o.

Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the

switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/

or remove the battery pack, if detachable, from

the power tool before making any adjustments,

changing accessories, or storing power tools.

Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of

starting the power tool accidentally.

d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of

children and do not allow persons unfamiliar

with the power tool or these instructions to

operate the power tool.

Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained

users.

e) Maintain power tools and accessories. Check

for misalignment or binding of moving parts,

breakage of parts and any other condition that

may aect the power tool’s operation.

If damaged, have the power tool repaired before

use.

Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained

power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.

Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting

edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits

etc. in accordance with these instructions,

taking into account the working conditions and

the work to be performed.

Use of the power tool for operations dierent from

those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

h) Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean

and free from oil and grease.

GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY

WARNINGS

WARNING

Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and

specications provided with this power tool.

Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in

electric shock, re and/or serious injury.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-

operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless)

power tool.

1) Work area safety

a) Keep work area clean and well lit.

Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

b) Do not operate power tools in explosive

atmospheres, such as in the presence of

ammable liquids, gases or dust.

Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust

or fumes.

c) Keep children and bystanders away while

operating a power tool.

Distractions can cause you to lose control.

2) Electrical safety

a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet.

Never modify the plug in any way.

Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed

(grounded) power tools.

Unmodied plugs and matching outlets will reduce

risk of electric shock.

b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded

surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and

refrigerators.

There is an increased risk of electric shock if your

body is earthed or grounded.

c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet

conditions.

Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of

electric shock.

d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for

carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.

Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or

moving parts.

Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of

electric shock.

e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an

extension cord suitable for outdoor use.

Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the

risk of electric shock.

f) If operating a power tool in a damp location

is unavoidable, use a residual current device

(RCD) protected supply.

Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

3) Personal safety

a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use

common sense when operating a power tool.

Do not use a power tool while you are tired

or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or

medication.

A moment of inattention while operating power tools

may result in serious personal injury.

b) Use personal protective equipment. Always

wear eye protection.

Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid

safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection used for

appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not

allow for safe handling and control of the tool in

unexpected situations.

5) Battery tool use and care

a) Recharge only with the charger specied by the

manufacturer.

A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack

may create a risk of re when used with another

battery pack.

b) Use power tools only with specically

designated battery packs.

Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of

injury and re.

c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away

from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,

keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,

that can make a connection from one terminal to

another.

Shorting the battery terminals together may cause

burns or a re.

d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected

from the battery; avoid contact. If contact

accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid

contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or

burns.

e) Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged

or modied.

Damaged or modied batteries may exhibit

unpredictable behaviour resulting in re, explosion

or risk of injury.

f) Do not expose a battery pack or tool to re or

excessive temperature.

Exposure to re or temperature above 130 °C may

cause explosion.

g) Follow all charging instructions and do not

charge the battery pack or tool outside the

temperature range specied in the instructions.

Charging improperly or at temperatures outside

the specied range may damage the battery and

increase the risk of re.

6) Service

a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualied

repair person using only identical replacement

parts.

This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is

maintained.

b) Never service damaged battery packs.

Service of battery packs should only be performed

by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

PRECAUTION

Keep children and inrm persons away.

When not in use, tools should be stored out of reach of

children and inrm persons.

CORDLESS RECIPROCATING SAW

SAFETY WARNINGS

1. Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces,

when performing an operation where the cutting

accessory may contact hidden wiring.

Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may make

exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could

give the operator an electric shock.

2. Use clamps or another practical way to secure and

support the workpiece to a stable platform.

Holding the workpiece by hand or against your body

leaves it unstable and may lead to loss of control.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS

1. Preparing and checking the work environment. Make

sure that the work site meets all the conditions laid forth

in the precautions.

2. Do not allow foreign matter to enter the hole for

connecting the rechargeable battery.

3. Never disassemble the rechargeable battery and

charger.

4. Never short-circuit the rechargeable battery.

Shortcircuiting the battery will cause a great electric

current and overheat. It results in burn or damage to the

battery.

5. Donotdisposeofthebatteryinre.Ifthebatteryisburnt,

it may explode.

6. Bring the battery to the shop from which it was purchased

as soon as the post-charging battery life becomes too

short for practical use. Do not dispose of the exhausted

battery.

7. Do not insert object into the air ventilation slots of the

charger.Insertingmetalobjectsorinammablesintothe

charger air ventilation slots will result in electrical shock

hazard or damaged charger.

8. Whenusingthisunitcontinuously,theunitmayoverheat,

leadingtodamageinthemotorandswitch.Therefore,

whenever the housing becomes hot, give the saw a

break for a while.

9. If the machine is used continuously at low speed, an

extra load is applied to the motor which can result in

motor seizure. Always operate the power tool so that

the blade is not caught by the material during operation.

Always adjust the blade speed to enable smooth cutting.

10. Always hold the body handle and front cover of the

powertoolrmly.Otherwisethecounterforceproduced

may result in inaccurate and even dangerous operation.

11. Mounting and dismounting the blade

○ Pullthebackofthesawbladetwoorthreetimesbyhand

and check that the blade is securely mounted. When

pullingtheblade,youwillknowitisproperlymountedifit

clicks and the lever moves slightly. (Fig. 7)

○ Whenpullingthesawblade,beabsolutelysuretopullit

from the back. Pulling other parts of the blade will result

in an injury.

○ Nevertouch thesawbladeimmediatelyafteruse.The

metal is hot and can easily burn your skin.

○ Ifthebrokensawbladeishiddeninsidethesmallslit,

hook the broken blade using a tip of another saw blade

and take it out. (Fig. 8)

○ After use, blow away sawdust, earth, sand, moisture,

etc.,withairorbrushthemaway withabrush,etc., to

ensure that the blade mount can function smoothly.

○ Donotuseanysawbladewithaworn-outbladehole.

Otherwise, the saw blade can come o, resulting in

personal injury.

12.Makesurethatthebatteryisinstalledrmly.Ifitisatall

looseitcouldcomeoandcauseanaccident.

13.Do not x and secure the switch lock. Besides, keep

yourngerotheswitchtriggerwhenthetoolisbeing

carried around. Otherwise, the main body switch can

be inadvertently turned ON, resulting in unexpected

accidents.

14.Becarefulnottoletsawdust,earth,moisture,etc.,enter

the inside of the machine through the plunger section

during operation. If sawdust and the like accumulate in

theplungersection,alwayscleanitbeforeuse.

15. Do not remove the front cover which will cause in an

injury.

Be sure to hold the body from the top of the front cover.

16.Duringuse,pressthebasermlyagainsttheworkpiece.

17. Select a saw blade of the most appropriate length.

Ideally,thelengthprotrudingfromthebaseofthesaw

blade after subtracting the stroke quantity should be

larger than the material.

 If you cut a large pipe, large block of wood, etc., that

exceeds the cutting capacity of a blade; there is a risk

thattheblademaycontactwiththeinnerwallofthepipe,

wood,etc.,resultingindamage.(Fig. 10)

18. Never apply any unreasonable force to the saw blade

when cutting. Doing so can easily break the blade.

19.The motor can be locked sometimes, depending

on the combination of the material to be cut and the

blade. Whenever the motor gets locked, switch it o

immediately.

20. Use clamps or another practical way to secure and

support the workpiece to a stable platform. (Fig. 11)

Holding the work by hand or against your body leaves it

unstable and may lead to loss of control.

21.When cutting metallic materials, use an appropriate

cuttinguid(spindleoil,soapywater,etc.)toprolongthe

bladeʼsservicelife.

22. Delay the feed speed when cutting the material into

small circular arcs. An unreasonably fast feed may break

the blade.

23. Plunge cutting

○ Avoid plunge cutting for metallic materials. This can

easily damage the blade.

○ Never pull the switch trigger while the tip of the saw

bladetipispressedagainstthematerial.Ifyoudoso,the

blade can easily be damaged when it collides with the

material.

○ Makeabsolutelysurethatyoucutslowlywhileholding

thebodyrmly.Ifyouapplyanyunreasonableforceto

thesawbladeduringthecuttingoperation,thebladecan

easily be damaged.

24.Keep the light ON during cutting operation only. If

it is lit ON in other cases, the main body switch can

be inadvertently turned ON, resulting in unexpected

accidents.

25. Do not expose directly your eye to the light by looking

into the light.

 Ifyoureyeiscontinuouslyexposedtothelight,youreye

will be hurt.

26. Never touch moving parts.

 Neverplaceyourhands,ngersorotherbodypartsnear

the tool’s moving parts.

27. Never operate without all guards in place.

Never operate this tool without all guards or safety

features in place and in proper working order. If

maintenance or servicing requires the removal of a

guardorsafetyfeature,besuretoreplacetheguardor

safety feature before resuming operation of the tool.

28.NEVERleavetoolrunningunattended.Turnpowero.

Don’t leave tool until it comes to a complete stop.

29. The power tool is equipped with a temperature

protection circuit to protect the motor. Continuous work

maycausethetemperatureoftheunittorise,activating

the temperature protection circuit and automatically

stoppingoperation.Ifthishappens,allowthepowertool

to cool before resuming use.

30. Do not give a strong shock to the switch panel or break it.

It may lead to a trouble.

31. Do not use the product if the tool or the battery terminals

(battery mount) are deformed.

Installing the battery could cause a short circuit that

could result in smoke emission or ignition.

32. Keep the tool’s terminals (battery mount) free of swarf

and dust.

○ Prior to use, make sure that swarf and dust have not

collected in the area of the terminals.

○ Duringuse,trytoavoidswarfordustonthe tool from

falling on the battery.

○ Whensuspendingoperationorafter use, do not leave

the tool in an area where it may be exposed to falling

swarf or dust.

Doing so could cause a short circuit that could result in

smoke emission or ignition.

CAUTION ON LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

Toextendthelifetime,thelithium-ionbatteryequipswiththe

protection function to stop the output.

In the cases of 1 to 3 described below, when using this

product,evenif youarepullingtheswitch, themotormay

stop. This is not the trouble but the result of protection

function.

1. Whenthebatterypowerremainingrunsout,themotor

stops.

 Insuchacase,chargeitupimmediately.

2. If the tool is overloaded, the motor may stop. In this

case,releasetheswitchoftoolandeliminatecausesof

overloading.Afterthat,youcanuseitagain.

3. If the battery is overheated under overload work, the

battery power may stop.

 Inthis case, stopusingthe battery andletthe battery

cool.Afterthat,youcanuseitagain.

Furthermore,pleaseheedthefollowingwarningandcaution.

WARNING

In order to prevent any battery leakage, heat generation,

smokeemission,explosionandignitionbeforehand,please

be sure to heed the following precautions.

1. Make sure that swarf and dust do not collect on the

battery.

○ Duringworkmakesurethatswarfanddustdonotfallon

the battery.

○ Makesurethatanyswarfanddustfallingonthepower

tool during work do not collect on the battery.

○ Donotstoreanunusedbatteryinalocationexposedto

swarf and dust.

○ Beforestoringabattery,removeanyswarfanddustthat

may adhere to it and do not store it together with metal

parts(screws,nails,etc.).

2. Do not pierce battery with a sharp object such as a

nail,strikewithahammer,stepon,throworsubjectthe

battery to severe physical shock.

3. Do not use an apparently damaged or deformed battery.

4. Do not use the battery in reverse polarity.

5. Do not connect directly to an electrical outlets or car

cigarette lighter sockets.

6. Do not use the battery for a purpose other than those

specied.

7. If the battery charging fails to complete even when a

speciedrechargingtimehaselapsed,immediatelystop

further recharging.

8. Do not put or subject the battery to high temperatures or

highpressuresuchasintoamicrowaveoven,dryer,or

high pressure container.

9. Keepawayfromreimmediatelywhenleakageorfoul

odor are detected.

10. Do not use in a location where strong static electricity

generates.

11.If there is battery leakage, foul odor, heat generated,

discoloredordeformed,orinanywayappearsabnormal

duringuse,rechargingorstorage,immediatelyremoveit

fromtheequipmentorbatterycharger,andstopuse.

12.Donotimmerse the batteryorallow any uids toow

inside. Conductive liquid ingress, such as water, can

causedamageresultinginreorexplosion.Storeyour

batteryinacool,dryplace,awayfromcombustibleand

ammableitems. Corrosive gasatmospheresmust be

avoided.

CAUTION

1. If liquid leaking from the battery gets into your eyes,

do not rub your eyes and wash them well with fresh

clean water such as tap water and contact a doctor

immediately.

 Ifleftuntreated,theliquidmaycauseeye-problems.

2. Ifliquidleaksontoyourskinorclothes,washwellwith

clean water such as tap water immediately.

There is a possibility that this can cause skin irritation.

3. If you nd rust, foul odor, overheating, discolor,

deformation,and/or other irregularities whenusing the

batteryforthersttime,donotuseandreturnittoyour

supplier or vendor.

WARNING

If a conductive foreign matter enters in the terminal of lithium

ionbattery,thebatterymaybeshorted,causingre.When

storing the lithium ion battery, obey surely the rules of

following contents.

○ Donotplaceconductivedebris,nailandwiressuchas

iron wire and copper wire in the storage case.

○ Topreventshortingfromoccurring,loadthe battery in

the tool or insert securely the battery cover for storing

until the ventilator is not seen.

Whentransportingalithium-ionbattery,pleaseobservethe

following precautions.

Notify the transporting company that a package contains a

lithium-ionbattery,informthecompanyofitspoweroutput

when arranging transport.

○ Lithium-ion batteries that exceed a power output of

of Dangerous Goods and will require special application

procedures.

○ For transportation abroad, you must comply with

international law and the rules and regulations of the

destination country.

device connected to this product may be corrupted or lost.

Always make sure to back up any data contained in the USB

device prior to use with this product.

responsibility for any data stored in a USB device that is

CHARGING

Beforeusingthepowertool,chargethebatteryasfollows.

1. Connect the charger’s power cord to the receptacle.

 Whenconnectingtheplugofthechargertoareceptacle,

the charge indicator lamp will blink in red (At 1- second

intervals).

2. Insert the battery into the charger.

Firmly insert the battery into the charger as shown in

Fig. 3 (on page 2).

3. Charging

 When inserting a battery in the charger, the charge

indicator lamp will blink in blue.

 Whenthebatterybecomesfullyrecharged,thecharge

indicator lamp will light up in green. (See Table 1)

As the internal chemical substance of new batteries and

How to make the batteries perform longer.

(1) Recharge the batteries before they become completely

exhausted.

When you feel that the power of the tool becomes

weaker,stopusing thetoolandrecharge itsbattery.If

you continue to use the tool and exhaust the electric

current, the battery may be damaged and its life will

become shorter.

(2) Avoid recharging at high temperatures.

A rechargeable battery will be hot immediately after

use. If such a battery is recharged immediately after

use,itsinternalchemicalsubstancewilldeteriorate,and

thebatterylifewillbeshortened.Leavethebatteryand

recharge it after it has cooled for a while.

CAUTION

○ If the battery is charged while it is heated because

it has been left for a long time in a location subject to

direct sunlight or because the battery has just been

used, the charge indicator lamp of the charger lights

for0.3 seconds,doesnotlight for0.3seconds(ofor

0.3seconds).In such acase,rstletthebattery cool,

then start charging.

○ Whenthechargeindicatorlampickers(at0.2-second

intervals),checkforandtakeoutanyforeignobjectsin

the charger’s battery connector. If there are no foreign

objects, it is probable that the battery or charger is

malfunctioning. Take it to your authorized Service

○ Since the built-in micro computer takes about

3secondstoconrmthatthebatterybeingchargedwith

UC18YSL3istakenout,waitforaminimumof3seconds

before reinserting it to continue charging. If the battery

isreinsertedwithin3seconds, the battery may not be

properly charged.

(1) If a part of the broken saw blade is sticking out of the

smallslitofthebladeholder,pullouttheprotrudingpart

and take the blade out.

(2) If thebroken saw bladeis hidden insidethe small slit,

hook the broken blade using a tip of another saw blade

and take it out.

The hook can be used to hang up the unit

MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION

CAUTION

1. Inspecting the blade

Continued use of a dull or damaged blade will result in

reducedcuttingeciencyandmaycauseoverloadingof

the motor. Replace the blade with a new one as soon as

excessive abrasion is noted.

2. Inspecting the mounting screws

Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that

they are properly tightened. Should any of the screws be

loose,retightenthemimmediately.Failuretodosocould

result in serious hazard.

3. Maintenance of the motor

The motor unit winding is the very “heart” of the power

tool. Exercise due care to ensure the winding does not

becomedamagedand/orwetwithoilorwater.

4. Inspection of terminals (tool and battery)

Check to make sure that swarf and dust have not

collected on the terminals.

 Onoccasioncheckprior,duringandafteroperation.

CAUTION

Remove any swarf or dust which may have collected on

the terminals.

Failure to do so may result in malfunction.

5. Cleaning on the outside

 Whenthepowertoolisstained,wipewithasoftdrycloth

6. Storage

Store the power tool in a place in which the temperature

is less than 40°C and out of reach of children.

Make sure the lithium-ion batteries have been fully

charged before storing them.

Prolonged storage (3 months or more) of batteries with

a low charge may result in performance deterioration,

signicantly reducing battery usage time or rendering

the batteries incapable of holding a charge.

be recovered by repeatedly charging and using the

e) Wartung von Elektrowerkzeugen und Zubehör.

Prüfen Sie sie auf Fehlausrichtungen,

Leichtgängigkeit beweglicher Teile,

Beschädigungen von Teilen und auf alle

anderen Umstände, die sich auf den Betrieb des

Elektrowerkzeugs auswirken können. Lassen

Sie das Elektrowerkzeug bei Beschädigungen

reparieren, ehe Sie es benutzen.

Viele Unfälle mit Elektrowerkzeugen sind auf

schlechte Wartung zurückzuführen.

f) Halten Sie Schneidwerkzeuge scharf und

sauber.

Richtig gewartete Schneidwerkzeuge mit scharfen

Schneiden bleiben weniger häug hängen und sind

einfacher zu beherrschen.

g) Benutzen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge, Zubehör,

Werkzeugspitzen und Ähnliches in

Übereinstimmung mit diesen Anweisungen

– beachten Sie dabei die jeweiligen

Arbeitsbedingungen und die Art der

auszuführenden Arbeiten.

Der Gebrauch des Elektrowerkzeugs für andere

als die vorgesehenen Anwendungen kann zu

gefährlichen Situationen führen.

h) Halten Sie Handgrie und Greiächen trocken,

sauber und frei von Öl und Fett.

Rutschige Handgrie und Greiächen lassen keine

sichere Handhabung und Kontrolle des Werkzeugs

in unerwarteten Situationen zu.

5) Verwendung und Pege der Batterie

a) Laden Sie das Gerät nur mit dem vom Hersteller

empfohlenen Ladegerät auf.

Ein Ladegerät für einen speziellen Batterietyp

kann bei Verwendung mit anderen Batterien zu

Brandgefahr führen.

b) Verwenden Sie nur die für das Elektrowerkzeug

speziell empfohlenen Akkus.

Eine Verwendung von anderen Batterien kann zu

Verletzungen und Bränden führen.

c) Ist der Akku nicht in Gebrauch, achten Sie

darauf, dass er nicht mit Metallgegenständen,

beispielsweise Büroklammern, Münzen,

Schlüsseln, Nägeln, Schrauben oder anderen

kleinen Metallgegenständen in Kontakt kommt,

da diese Gegenstände einen Kurzschluss der

Anschlüsse verursachen können.

Ein Kurzschluss der Batterieanschlüsse kann zu

Verbrennungen oder Bränden führen.

d) Im Falle von missbräuchlichen Bedingungen

kann Flüssigkeit aus dem Akku austreten.

Vermeiden Sie in diesem Fall jeglichen Kontakt.

Sollten Sie dennoch mit der Batterieüssigkeit in

Berührung kommen, waschen Sie die betroene

Stelle gründlich mit Wasser ab. Ist die Flüssigkeit

ins Auge geraten, suchen Sie einen Arzt auf.

Ausgetretene Batterieüssigkeiten können zu

Reizungen oder Verbrennungen führen.

e) Verwenden Sie keinen Akku oder kein Werkzeug,

der oder das beschädigt oder verändert ist.

Beschädigte oder veränderte Akkus können ein

unvorhersehbares Verhalten aufweisen, das zu

einem Feuer, einer Explosion oder Verletzung führen

kann.

f) Setzen Sie den Akku oder das Werkzeug keinem

Feuer oder keiner zu hohen Temperatur aus.

Die Einwirkung von Feuer oder einer Temperatur

über 130 °C kann zu einer Explosion führen.

g) Befolgen Sie alle Anweisungen zum Auaden

und laden Sie den Akku oder das Werkzeug

nicht außerhalb des Temperarturbereichs auf,

der in der Anleitung angegeben ist.

Wenn Sie den Akku falsch oder bei Temperaturen

außerhalb des angegebenen Bereichs auaden,

kann der Akku beschädigt werden und die Gefahr

eines Brandes steigen.

6) Service

a) Lassen Sie Ihr Elektrowerkzeug durch

qualizierte Fachkräfte und nur unter Einsatz

der passenden Originalersatzteile warten.

Dies sorgt dafür, dass die Sicherheit des

Elektrowerkzeugs nicht beeinträchtigt wird.

b) Warten Sie niemals beschädigte Akkus.

Die Wartung von Akkus ist stets vom Hersteller oder

autorisierten Dienstleistern durchzuführen.

Von Kindern und gebrechlichen Personen fernhalten.

Werkzeuge sollten bei Nichtgebrauch außerhalb der

Reichweite von Kindern und gebrechlichen Personen

8. Bei kontinuierlicher Verwendung dieses Gerätes

kann sich das Gerät überhitzen und des Motor und

der Schalter können beschädigt werden. Lassen Sie

die Säge deshalb eine Zeit lang abkühlen, wenn das

Gehäuseheißwird.

9. Wird die Maschine dauerhaft bei niedriger

11.AnbringenundEntfernenderKlinge

○ Ziehen Sie das Sägeblatt zwei-bis dreimal von Hand

zurück und überprüfen Sie, daß das Sägeblatt sicher

desSägeblattsführtzuVerletzungen.

○ Berühren Sie das Sägeblatt niemals direkt nach dem

Gebrauch.DasMetallistheißundkannleichtIhreHaut

verbrennen.

○ WenndasabgebrocheneSägeblattimschmalenSchlitz

versteckt ist, so haken Sie die Spitze eines anderen

Sägeblatts in das abgebrochene Sägeblatt ein und

entfernenSiees.(Abb. 8)

○ Entfernen Sie nach der Verwendung Sägemehl, Erde,

Sand,Feuchtigkeitusw.mitDruckluftodereinerBürste

usw., um sicherzustellen, daß die Sägeblatthalterung

glattfunktionierenkann.

○ Verwenden Sie kein Sägeblatt mit einem abgenutzten

Sägeblattloch.DasSägeblattkannsichsonstlösenund

zuKörperverletzungführen.

12.Nachsehen, ob die Batterie sicher und fest sitzt. Eine

lockereingesetzteBatteriekannherausfallenundstellt

somiteineGefahrdar.

13.Die Schalterverriegelung nicht xieren und

blockieren.Halten Sie außerdemIhreFingerfern vom

Auslöseschalter, wenn das Werkzeug herumgetragen

wird.DasonstderHauptschalterungewollteingeschaltet

werden kann, wodurch es zu unerwarteten Unfällen

kommenkann.

14.Lassen Sie Sägemehl, Erde, Feuchtigkeit usw. nicht

währenddesBetriebsdurchdenTauchkolbenabschnitt

indieMaschineeindringen.WennsichSägemehlusw.

imTauchkolbenabschnittansammelt,soentfernen Sie

esimmervorderVerwendung.

15.EntfernenSiedievordereAbdeckungnicht,dadieszu

Verletzungenführenkann.

 AchtenSiedarauf,denKörpervomOberteildervorderen

Abdeckungherzuhalten.

16.DrückenSiewährendderVerwendungdasBasisteilfest

gegendasWerkstück.

17.Wählen Sie ein Sägeblatt mit möglichst passender

Länge. Idealerweise sollte die aus der Basis

hervorstehendeLängenachAbzugdesHubsgrößerals

dieMaterialdickesein.

 WennSieeingroßesRohrodereinengroßenHolzblock

usw. durchsägen, deren Dicke die Sägekapazität des

Sägeblatts überschreitet, so besteht die Gefahr, daß

dasSägeblattgegendieInnenwanddesRohrs,gegen

dasInneredesHolzblocksusw.stoßenundbeschädigt

werdenkann.(Abb. 10)

18.LassenSiebeimSägenniemalseineunangemessene

Kraft auf das Sägeblatt einwirken. Hierdurch kann es

leichtzuBruchdesSägeblattskommen.

19.Abhängig von der Kombination des zu sägenden

MaterialsunddesSägeblattskannderMotormanchmal

blockiertwerden.SchaltenSiedasWerkzeugsofortaus,

wennderMotorblockiertwird.

20.Sichern und stützen Sie das Werkstück mit

Schraubzwingen oder anderen geeigneten Mitteln auf

einerstabilenUnterlage.(Abb. 11)

Wenn Sie das Werkstück mit der Hand oder an den

Körpergepressthalten,wirdesinstabilundSiekönnen

dieKontrolleverlieren.

21.Verwenden Sie beim Fräsen von metallischen

Materialien eine geeignete Fräsüssigkeit (Spindelöl,

Seifenwasserusw.),umdieLebensdauerderKlingezu

verlängern.

22.Verringern Sie die Vorschubgeschwindigkeit wenn Sie

Material in kleinen Kreisbögen schneiden. Übermäßig

schneller Vorschub kann Buch des Sägeblatts

verursachen.

23.Tauch-Schneiden

○ VermeidenSieEinstechsägen bei Metallmaterial. Dies

kannleichtzuBeschädigungdesSägeblattsführen.

○ Ziehen Sie niemals am Auslöseschalter, während die

Spitze des Sägeblatts gegen das Material gedrückt

ist. Hierdurch kann es leicht zu Beschädigung des

Sägeblatts kommen, wenn die Spitze gegen das

Materialstößt.

○ Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, langsam zu sägen,

während Sie den Körper sicher halten. Durch eine

unangemessene Kraft auf das Sägeblatt während des

SägenskannesleichtzuBeschädigungdesSägeblatts

kommen.

24.Lassen Sie die Lampe nur beim Sägen eingeschaltet.

WenneszueineranderenZeiteingeschaltetwird,kann

der Hauptschalter ungewollt eingeschaltet werden,

wodurcheszuunerwartetenUnfällenkommenkann.

25.NiemalsdirektindieLEDblicken!

 Wird das Auge kontinuierlich den LED-Strahlen

ausgesetzt,kanneszuAugenverletzungenkommen.

26.BerührenSieniemalsdiebeweglichenTeile.

 Halten Sie niemals Ihre Hände, Finger oder andere

Körperteile in die Nähe der beweglichen Teile des

Werkzeugs.

27.Bedienen Sie das Gerät niemals ohne alle

SchutzvorrichtungenanderrichtigenStelle.

 BedienenSiediesesWerkzeugniemals,ohnedasssich

alle Schutzvorrichtungen bzw. Sicherheitsmerkmale

an Ort und Stelle und in einem einwandfreien

Betriebszustand benden. Wenn eine Schutz- oder

Sicherheitsvorrichtung für Wartungs- oder Service-

Arbeiten entfernt werden muss, denken Sie daran,

die Schutz- oder Sicherheitsvorrichtung wieder

28.Lassen Sie das Werkzeug NIEMALS unbeaufsichtigt
