Setting up and using the folio with your iPad

Setting up your folio

1. Open the folio and insert your iPad

into the protective shell:

Using your iPad

When you want to start using your iPad,

ﬂip the cover open:

Opening the folio wakes your iPad.

When you’re ﬁnished, closing the folio puts

your iPad into sleep mode:

Keep the folio closed for travel.

Folding and adjusting

When open, fold the cover down to make

a stand for your iPad:

You can adjust the viewing angle in the

range 20° - 70° for FaceTime® video calling,

browsing or typing:

When ﬂat, you can turn your iPad

Troubleshooting

My iPad won’t wake when I open the folio,

and doesn’t go into sleep mode when

I close it.

• Make sure your iPad is inserted in

the iPad holder the right way.

When your iPad is inserted correctly,

the camera on your iPad should line up

with the camera and microphone hole

on the folio (see “Know your product”).

In landscape orientation, the Home

button should be on your right-hand side.

Mein iPad schaltet sich beim Önen

des Folios nicht ein und wird nicht

in den Energiesparmodus versetzt,

wenn ich es schließe.
