Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.

You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part of

this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal.

Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instruc-

tions. Use the product only as described and for the speciﬁed areas of applica-

tion. Please also pass on these operating instructions to any future owner.

Intended use

This appliance has been designed for the juicing of well ripened and peeled

fruits and vegetables. The appliance may only be used to process foods. Use

only the original attachments and accessories as described. Any other uses of or

modiﬁcation to the appliance is deemed to be improper and carries the risk of

serious personal injury. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage

attributable to misuse. Not for commercial use.

CO time

The CO time (continuous operation time) is the amount of time an appliance can

be operated without the motor overheating and becoming damaged. After the

appliance has been operated for this duration of time, switch it oﬀ until the motor

has cooled down.

Safety instructions

DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!

► The voltage of the power source must conform to the details given

on the type plate of the appliance.

► To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power cables

replaced immediately by an authorised specialist technician or

our Customer Service department.

► Appliances which do not work properly or have been damaged

must be checked immediately and repaired by customer service.

► Do not expose the appliance to rain, and never use it in a humid

or wet environment. Ensure that the power cable never becomes

wet or moist during use.

Never immerse the base of the machine in water or other

liquids!

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Never use the appliance for purposes other than those described

in these instructions.

► The appliance should always be disconnected from the mains

when unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

► This appliance may not be used by children.

► The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from

children.

► This appliance may be used by persons with limited physical, sen-

sory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge,

provided that they are under supervision or have been told how

to use the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.

► Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► The appliance may not be used if the rotating ﬁlter is damaged!

► Before changing any accessories or additional parts that move

during operation, the appliance must be switched oﬀ and discon-

nected from mains power.

► The blades are very sharp. Handle them with care.

► Do not operate the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.

► To prevent injuries, ensure that all parts are inserted correctly.

Never put your hands or other objects into the ﬁller opening.

This could lead to grave personal injuries or serious damage

to the appliance. If pieces of fruit or vegetable cannot be

removed with the pusher, switch the appliance oﬀ, remove

the plug from the power socket and open the appliance.

► Ensure that the power plug is easily accessible in case of emer-

gency, and that there is no risk of tripping over the cable.

► Switch oﬀ the appliance and unplug it after use. Do not dismantle

the appliance until the motor has come to a complete standstill.

► Do not touch any rotating parts.

► Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.

► Provide a stable location for the appliance.

► Do not operate the device if the ﬁlter, the power cable or the plug

is damaged.

► Do not operate the appliance in the event of any malfunctions or

if it has been damaged in any other way or has been dropped.

► The use of accessories that have not been recommended or sold

by the manufacturer can cause a ﬁre, electric shock or injury.

Tips for safety:

► In case of danger, remove the plug from the socket immediately.

► Remain alert at all times! Always pay attention to what you are

doing and act with common sense. Never use the appliance

when you are distracted or don’t feel well.

► Ensure that the appliance is completely assembled before using it

for the ﬁrst time. The appliance can only be started up once the

clamps have been closed. Should the clamps become loose

during operation, the appliance stops automatically.

► After using the juicer, always ensure that the on/oﬀ switch is in

the "OFF" position ("0"). Do not dismantle the appliance until the

motor has come to a complete standstill.

► Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Assembling and operating the appliance

■ Before using the appliance for the ﬁrst time, clean all component parts

thoroughly as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.

■ Select a safe and secure positioning for the juicer. For optimal handling we

recommend that the appliance is positioned with the power cable  running

from the rear of the appliance to the wall socket. All operating elements can

now be directly and easily handled:

– the On/Oﬀ switch  at the front,

– the container for fruit and vegetable pulp - on the left,

– the juice outlet  on the right.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Ensure that the appliance is switched oﬀ and the plug removed from the

wall socket before assembling the appliance.

1) Place the juice tank  on the appliance base , so that the three catches

and the juice outlet  grip into in the recesses.

2) Place the ﬁlter 3 on the drive shaft ! and press it down so that it audibly

clicks into place. Ensure that it is ﬁrmly seated before continuing with the

assembly.

3) Slide the container for fruit and vegetable pulp - from below under the

outlet (see fold-out page).

4) Place the lid  onto the juice tank , so that the feed tube  is sitting

above the blades of the ﬁlter 3.

5) Ensure that the lid  is sitting ﬁrmly in the recess on the juice tank .

Lift the clamps  and clip them into the notches on the lid .

6) Press the lower part of the clamps  against the appliance until they click

into place.

7) Push the froth skimmer into the juice collector 0 and put the lid on. Place the

separate juice collector 0 next to the appliance so that the juice outlet 

protrudes into the separate juice collector 0.

8) Insert the plug  into a mains power socket.

Preparing the fruits/vegetables

■ Important: Use only well-ripened fruit, as otherwise the ﬁlter 3 will get

blocked. This would require repeated cleaning of the ﬁlter 3.

■ Wash or peel the fruits/vegetables that you wish to process.

■ Large seeds or stones should always be removed before ﬁlling the appliance.

■ Cored fruit (such as apples, pears) can be processed along with the skin and

core. Remove all other stones (peaches, plums etc.), all large seeds (melons

etc.) and stalks to avoid possible damage to the appliance.

■ Fruits and vegetables with thick peels (e.g. citrus fruits, melons, kiwis, root

vegetables) must always be peeled ﬁrst.

■ Remove the stalks from grapes.

■ Cut the fruit or vegetables into pieces that will ﬁt easily into the feed tube .

NOTE

► Raisins are not suitable for juicing as they contain too little juice. Rhubarb

or other ﬁbrous vegetables/fruits are not suitable for juicing as the ﬁbres

will block the juicer.

Juicing

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► NEVER insert your hands or other objects into the feed tube  when working

with the appliance. This could lead to serious injuries and/or damage to

the appliance.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► DO NOT operate the juicer for longer than 30 minutes (CO time) without

a break. After 30 minutes of continuous use allow the juicer to cool down.

Otherwise the appliance could be damaged.

1) Switch the appliance on with the On/Oﬀ switch .

Use speed level 1 for juicing fruit/vegetables containing a lot of liquid.

For drier fruit/vegetables, select speed level 2.

You can use the following table as an orientation guide. Please bear in mind,

however, that the required speed may vary depending on the ripeness of the

fruit.

2) Hold the pusher  in one hand and feed the fruit or vegetable pieces with the

other hand into the feed tube . Always use the pusher  to carefully press

the fruit/vegetable pieces into the feed tube . While the fruit/vegetables

are being processed, insert further pieces into the feed tube.

Do not switch the appliance oﬀ.

NOTE

► Add carrots one after the other into the feed tube : the top of the carrot

must be at the bottom and the pointed end at the top.

NOTE

► To avoid fruit or vegetables becoming blocked in the feed tube , only

ﬁll it when the appliance is switched on. If fruit or vegetable pieces get

stuck in the feed tube  and cannot be promptly freed with the pusher ,

proceed as follows to avoid damage to the appliance:

– Switch the oﬀ appliance immediately and pull the power plug 

from the wall socket.

– Undo the clamps  and remove the lid .

– Remove the fruit or vegetable pieces causing the blockage.

– Reassemble the appliance and continue with juice extraction.

3) Always switch the oﬀ appliance immediately after all of the fruit/vegetables

have been processed.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► To avoid blockage of the juice outlet  and/or damage to the appliance,

clean the juice outlet  and the juice tank  regularly and after every

use.

Emptying the pulp container and the ﬁlter

■ You can extract juices continuously until the container for fruit and vegetable

pulp -is completely full.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Remove the plug from the power outlet when emptying the ﬁlter 3.

This prevents unintentional starting of the appliance.

If the extracted juice suddenly starts getting thicker, or if you hear that the motor is

running more slowly, the ﬁlter 3 needs to be emptied. When you have removed

the fruit pulp, reassemble the appliance.

Dismantling the juicer

If you wish to dismantle the juicer, e.g. to clean it, proceed as follows:

1) Remove the mains plug  from the socket.

2) Open the clamps .

3) Remove the lid  with the pusher .

4) Lift up the juice tank  carefully. This disengages the ﬁlter 3 from the drive

shaft !. You can now remove the ﬁlter 3 from the juice tank .

Cleaning and care

DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!

► Always remove the mains plug from the wall socket before cleaning the

appliance.

To avoid receiving an electrical shock, never submerse the motor/

appliance base  in water or other ﬂuids.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Always pull out the mains plug before ﬁtting or removing accessories.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► To avoid blockage of the juice outlet and/or damage to the appliance, all

fruit and vegetable pulp must be regularly cleaned oﬀ the appliance and

accessories. Also clean after every use.

► Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents to clean the juicer. The appliance

and its accessories may not be cleaned in boiling water.

NOTE

► Soiling or overﬂowing fruit juices should be cleaned away immediately, as

fruit stains are more diﬃcult to remove later.

■ Switch the appliance on with the On/Oﬀ switch .

■ Clean the appliance housing and the power cable using a lightly mois-

tened cloth.

■ Clean the pusher , the juice tank , the separate juice collector 0, lid 

and the container for fruit and vegetable pulp -in warm soapy water and

rinse them carefully.

To clean the ﬁlters

, use the supplied nylon brush

.

:

■ Turn the lid of the pusher  until the arrow points to the opened lock on

the pusher shaft. You can now remove the lid. The nylon brush .can be

found inside the pusher . To re-close the lid, place it on the pusher so that

the arrow points to the opened lock

. Then turn it until the arrow points at

the closed lock

. The lid now sits ﬁrmly in place.

■ Hold the ﬁlter 3 (with the underside upwards) under running water and

clean it with the nylon brush ..

Colouring:

■ Some fruits or vegetables can permanently discolour parts of the juicer.

This is not damaging and does not impair the appliance in its functions.

Storage

If you do not intend to use the juicer for a long time, wrap the cable around the

cable retainer



on the underside of the juicer.

Troubleshooting

The packaging is made from environmentally friendly material and can be

disposed of at your local recycling plant.

Warranty and service

This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase.

This appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously

prior to delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,

please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to

guarantee free return of your goods.

NOTE

► The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing defects,

not for transport damage, worn parts or damage to fragile components

such as buttons or rechargeable batteries.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.

The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use

of force and modiﬁcations/repairs which have not been carried out by one of

our authorised Service centres.

Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty. The warranty period

is not prolonged by repairs eﬀected under the warranty. This also applies to

replaced and repaired components.

Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported im-

mediately after unpacking, but no later than two days after the date of purchase.

Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to charge.

▯ 1 large slice of watermelon

▯ 4 apples, sweet yet slightly sour (e.g. “Jonagold” or “Jonathan”)

Preparation

1) Prepare the watermelon, lemon and apples as per the instructions given in

the instruction manual for the juicer.

2) Juice the watermelon, the lemon and the apples.

3) Serve the summer drink chilled.

Apple-pear-strawberry drink

Ingredients

▯ 1 apple, green (e.g. “Granny Smith”)

▯ 3 small, ripe pears

▯ 10 medium-sized strawberries

Preparation

1) Prepare the apple, pears and strawberries as per the instructions given in the

instruction manual for the juicer.

2) Juice everything using the juicer.

3) Mix the juices together and serve the drink immediately.

Energy drink

▯ 250 ml of mineral water (carbonated)

3) Mix the juices together and then add the mineral water.

Preparation

1) Prepare the carrots and apples as per the instructions given in the instruction

Preparation

1) Prepare the honeydew melon, the peaches, the grapes and the mangoes as

per the instructions given in the instruction manual for the juicer.

2) Juice the fruits one after the other.

3) Mix the juices together and serve the drink slightly cooled.

Pineapple-mango drink

Ingredients

▯ ½ pineapple

▯ ½ mango

▯ 1 apple

▯ 1 orange

▯ 2 tsp. wheat germ oil

Preparation

1) Prepare the pineapple, the mango, the apple and the orange as per the

instructions given in the instruction manual for the juicer.

2) Juice the pineapple ﬁrst, then the mango.

3) Juice the apple and the orange.

4) Mix the juices together.

5) Then add the 2 tsp. wheat germ oil and stir everything well.
