GETTING STARTED

For best shaving performance, it is recommended that you use your new shaver daily

for up to four weeks to allow time for your beard and skin to become accustomed to

the new shaving system.

CHARGING YOUR SHAVER

Always ensure that your hands, shaver and power cord are dry before charging your

shaver.

Ensure the shaver is switched off. Connect the shaver to the adapter (Fig. A), then to the

mains (Fig. B) and charge for at least 24 hours when using for the ﬁrst time (Fig. C).

R7130 – Place your shaver in the charging stand, connect the charging adaptor to the stand

and then to the mains.

Charge for at least 24 hours when using for the ﬁrst time.

After the shaver batteries are fully charged, the green indicator light will blink (R4130),

the fuel gauge (R5130) or the LCD display (R6130/R7130) will indicate the shaver is fully

charged.

Use product until the battery is low. This is indicated by illuminated red light or the LCD

display.

Fully recharge for 24 hours every 6 months to maintain battery condition.

When empty, the battery will be fully charged around 90 minutes for the R5130, R6130,

R7130, and around 24 hours for the R4130.

The shaver adapts automatically to a mains voltage between 100V and 240V.

Connect the shaver to the adapter, then to the mains and recharge for 5 min. before using.

CAUTION:

Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of the battery life.

HOW TO US E

SHAVING

Switch the shaver on (Fig. D).

Use the trimmer to remove long hair ﬁrst (see below).

Hold the shaving head so all three heads touch your face simultaneously (Fig.E). The

independently ﬂoating heads will automatically adjust to the contours of your face.

Stretch the skin with your free hand so the hairs stand upright.

Only apply light pressure on the shaving head while shaving (pressing too hard can damage

the heads and make them vulnerable to breakage).

Use short, circular strokes.

TRIMMING

Push the trimmer button down (Fig. F). Place trimmer at desired trim line for a quick, easy,

professional trim. Hold the shaver as shown in the illustration (Fig. G). To retract and

switch off the trimmer, push the trimmer lock button in and downwards (Fig. H).

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

Ensure your skin is dry. Always hold the shaver at right angles to the skin so that all

three heads are touching the skin with equal pressure. Use moderate to slow stroking

movements. The use of short circular motions in stubborn areas may obtain a closer shave,

especially along the neck and chin line.

DO NOT press hard against the skin in order to avoid damage to the rotary heads.

CARE FOR YOUR SHAVER

Care for your product to ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend you clean your

shaver after each use. Using the brush supplied clean the internal parts of the head assembly

and shaver body. The easiest and the most hygienic way to clean the shaver is by rinsing the

product head after use with warm water. Always keep the protective cap on the shaving head

and keep the trimmer in the “off” position when the shaver is not in use.

CLEANING DAILY

Ensure the shaver is switched off and unplugged from the mains.

Open the shaver head by pressing the release button on the front of the shaver (Fig. I) and

ﬂipping open the head away from the body of the shaver (Fig. J).

Rinse the shaver head with warm water (Fig. K).

Close head assembly (Fig. L).

CLEANING WEEKLY

Perform the daily cleaning steps ﬁrst.

Grasp plastic case around outer cutter and rotate toward the small dot on the shaver head

(Fig. M).

Pull outer cutter up and off the head assembly and remove inner cutter repeat steps 1-2

for the remaining cutters (Fig. N).

Brush hairs from inner and outer cutter (Fig. O).

Replace inner cutter (Fig. P).

Replace outer cutter by lining up the locator with the small dot (Fig. Q).

Twist towards large indent to lock in place. Repeat steps 4-6 remaining cutters (Fig. R).

CAUTION:

Never submerge your shaver in water. The shaver can be rinsed with water. The water

temperature should not exceed 70 degrees. Attention. Unplug the shaver before cleaning with

water. Keep the adaptor and cable dry.

CLEANING TRIMMER

Lubricate the teeth of the trimmer every six months with one drop of sewing machine oil.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, ELECTROCUTION, FIRE,

OR INJURY TO PERSONS:

An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in to a power outlet, except

when charging. Keep the power adaptor and cord away from heated surfaces.

Make sure the power adaptor and cord do not get wet.

Do not plug or unplug the shaver with wet hands.

Do not use the product with a damaged cord. A replacement can be obtained via the

Remington

®

Service Center.

Charge, use and store the product at a temperature between 15°C and 35°C.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your shaver battery is completely empty or the shaver has not been used for an

extended period of time, the shaver may not start when operated using the cord. If this

occurs, charge the shaver for approximately 15 sec. before shaving.

Your shaver should be mainly used in cordless mode and only recharged when battery

charge is low. Extended mains only use or continuous connection to the mains will result in

the reduction of the battery life.

This appliance contains an environmental friendly rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride

battery. Do not dispose the appliance or the battery in the household waste as

restrictions exist in most countries. Adhere to the national or local regulations for

Für beste Rasurergebnisse wird empfohlen, dass Sie Ihren neuen Rasierer bis zu vier Wochen

lang täglich benutzen, damit sich Ihr Bart und Ihre Haut an das neue Rasiersystem gewöhnen.

LADEN IHRES RASIERERS

Achten Sie immer darauf, dass Ihre Hände, Rasierer und Stromkabel trocken sind, ehe Sie den

Rasierer auﬂaden.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Rasierer ausgeschaltet ist. Schließen Sie den Rasierer zuerst an

den Adapter an (Abb. A), dann an das Stromnetz (Abb. B) und laden Sie ihn vor dem ersten

Gebrauch mindestens 24 Stunden lang auf (Abb. C).

R7130 - Stellen Sie Ihren Rasierer in die Ladestation, verbinden Sie den Ladeadapter mit dem

Gerät und schließen Sie ihn dann an das Stromnetz an.

Laden Sie ihn vor dem ersten Gebrauch mindestens 24 Stunden lang auf.

Wenn der Akku voll aufgeladen ist, blinkt die grüne Anzeige (R4130), die Ladezustandsanzeige

(R5130) oder die LCD-Anzeige (R6130/R7130) zeigen an, dass der Rasierer voll aufgeladen ist.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät, bis der Akku leer ist. Die rote Nachladewarnanzeige oder die LCD-

Anzeige leuchtet, wenn der Akku fast leer ist.

Laden Sie Ihren Rasierer alle sechs Monate 24 Stunden lang auf, um die optimale

Funktionsfähigkeit des Akkus zu erhalten.

Ein leerer Akku ist nach 90 Minuten (R5130, R6130, R7130) bzw. 24 Stunden (R4130) wieder

vollständig aufgeladen.

Das Gerät stellt sich automatisch auf Netzspannungen zwischen 100 V und 240 V ein.

FEHLERSUCHE

Wenn der Akku vollständig leer ist oder der Rasierer längere Zeit nicht benutzt wurde, kann

es vorkommen, dass der Rasierer auch im Netzbetrieb nicht funktioniert. Ist dies der Fall,

laden Sie den Rasierer vor der Benutzung für ca. 60 Sek. auf.

Ihr Rasierer sollte hauptsächlich im Akkubetrieb verwendet und nur dann aufgeladen werden,

wenn der Ladezustand des Akkus niedrig ist. Längerer Einsatz des Geräts im Netzbetrieb oder

dauerhafte Verbindung zum Stromnetz führt zu einer Verkürzung der Akkulaufzeit.

SCHÜTZEN SIE UNSERE UMWELT

Dieses Gerät enthält einen umweltfreundlichen auﬂ adbaren Nickel-Metall-Hybridakku.

Werfen Sie das Gerät oder den Akku nicht in den Hausmüll, da dies in den meisten Ländern

BEGINNEN

Voor het beste scheerresultaat adviseren wij u om gedurende vier weken uw nieuwe

scheerapparaat dagelijks te gebruiken. Op deze wijze wennen uw baard en huid aan

het nieuwe scheersysteem.

UW SCHEERAPPARAAT OPLADEN

Controleer altijd of uw handen, het scheerapparaat en het snoer droog zijn voordat u uw

scheerapparaat gaat laden.

Controleer of het scheerapparaat is uitgeschakeld. Sluit het scheerapparaat voor het eerste

gebruik aan op de adapter (Afb. A), daarna op de netvoeding (afb. B) en laat het ten minste 24

uur opladen (Afb. C).

R7130 – Plaats uw scheerapparaat in het laadstation, sluit de laadadapter op het station aan

en vervolgens op het stopcontact.

Voor het eerste gebruik dient u het scheerapparaat minimaal 24 uur op te laden.

Nadat de accu‘s van het scheerapparaat geheel opgeladen zijn, zal het groene indicatielampje

knipperen (R4130), en zal de laadindicator (R5130) of het LCD-display (R6130/R7130)

aangeven of het scheerapparaat volledig geladen is.

Gebruik het product tot de accu bijna leeg is. Dit wordt door een rood indicatielampje op het

LCD-display aangegeven.

De batterij elke 6 maanden gedurende 24 uur volledig opladen om de status van de batterij

te behouden.

Een geheel lege accu kan in circa 90 minuten volledig worden opgeladen voor de R5130,

R6130, R7130 en in ongeveer 24 uur voor de R4130.

Het product past zich automatisch aan de netspanning tussen 100 VAC en 240 VAC.

PROBLEEMOPLOSSING

Als de batterij van uw scheerapparaat helemaal leeg is of als het scheerapparaat gedurende

stroomvoorziening wordt aangesloten. Als dit van toepassing is, laadt het scheerapparaat dan

gedurende ca.60 seconden op voordat u gaat scheren.

Uw scheerapparaat dient vooral name in de snoerloze functie gebruikt te worden en alleen

opgeladen te worden als de batterij bijna leeg is. Langdurig gebruik via de stroomvoorziening

kan een beperkte levensduur van de batterijen tot gevolg hebben

BESCHERM HET MILIEU

Dit product bevat een milieuvriendelijke oplaadbare nikkelmetaal hybride batterij. Gooi geen

product of batterijen met het huishoudelijk afval weg. In de meeste landen bestaan hiervoor

speciale regels.

Handel volgens de landelijke of plaatselijke voorschriften voor de afvalverwijdering die

voor uw woonplaats gelden. Als u de batterijen uit het product moet verwijderen voor een

gescheiden afvalverwerking, zie dan de instructies in het hoofdstuk ‘Batterij verwijderen’ over

hoe de behuizing kan worden geopend.

LET OP:

De batterijeenheid niet verbranden of kapot maken, omdat de eenheid hierdoor zou kunnen

AVANT DE COMMENCER

Nous vous recommandons d‘utiliser votre nouveau rasoir tous les jours pendant

quatre semaines pour laisser à votre barbe et à votre peau le temps de s‘accoutumer

au nouveau système de rasage. Vous obtiendrez alors un rasage au plus prêt.

POUR CHARGER VOTRE RASOIR

Assurez-vous toujours que vos mains, le rasoir et le câble d’alimentation sont secs avant de

recharger l‘appareil.

Assurez-vous que l’appareil est éteint. Branchez l‘appareil sur le bloc d‘alimentation (Fig. A),

puis sur le secteur et chargez-le pendant au moins 24 heures avant la première utilisation

(Fig. C).

R7130 - Placez votre tondeuse sur son support de charge et branchez le bloc d‘alimentation

sur l’appareil, puis sur le secteur.

Pour la première utilisation, chargez-le pendant au moins 24 heures.

Après le rechargement total de la batterie du rasoir, la diode verte témoin clignotera (R4130),

le témoin d‘alimentation (R5130) ou l’écran LCD (R6130/R7130)indiqueront que le rasoir est

complètement rechargé.

Utilisez l‘appareil jusqu‘à épuisement de la batterie. Le témoin lumineux rouge ou l‘écran LCD

indiquent que la batterie doit être rechargée.

Rechargez complètement la batterie pendant 24 heures tous les six mois pour maintenir la

batterie en bon état.

Lorsque la batterie est épuisée, son rechargement complet dure environ 90 minutes (R5130,

R6130, R7130, et environ 24 heures pour le R4130.

Le rasoir s‘adapte automatiquement à une tension secteur entre 100 V et 240 V.

RETRAIT DE LA BATTERIE

DANGER:

Si le rasoir a été démonté pour être jeté, n‘essayez pas de le remonter et/ou de l‘utiliser.

Débranchez le rasoir.

Ôtez la tête du rasoir (appuyez sur le bouton de dégagement et retirez la tête du corps du

rasoir).

Faites levier à l’aide d’un petit tournevis à tête plate pour retirer le couvercle frontal du rasoir.

Ôtez les 4 vis situées à l’avant du rasoir. (Fig. S)

Retirez le couvercle arrière du boîtier interne pour exposer les batteries (Fig. T)

Retirez les batteries du circuit imprimé et coupez les ﬁls (Fig. U-V).

Mettez les batteries au rebut.

CÓMO EMPEZAR

Para obtener un óptimo afeitado se recomienda utilizar la nueva máquina de afeitar

diariamente por un período máximo de cuatro semanas para que la barba y la piel se

acostumbren al nuevo sistema de afeitado.

PROCESO DE CARGA DE LA AFEITADORA

Asegúrese siempre de que sus manos, la afeitadora y el cable de alimentación estén secos antes

de cargar la afeitadora.

Asegúrese de que la afeitadora esté apagada. Al usarla por primera vez, conecte la afeitadora

al adaptador (Fig. A), éste a la red eléctrica (Fig. B) y cargue el aparato por lo menos durante

24 horas (Fig. C).

R7130 - Coloque la afeitadora en el soporte de carga, conecte el adaptador al producto y

luego a la red eléctrica.

Al usarlo por primera vez, cargue el aparato por lo menos durante 24 horas.

Cuando las baterías de la afeitadora estén completamente cargadas, la luz indicadora verde

parpadeará (R4130), o bien lo señalará el indicador de carga (R5130) o la pantalla LCD

(R6130/R7130).

Utilice el producto hasta que la batería esté baja. Esto se indicará mediante una luz roja

encendida o a través de la pantalla LCD.

Recárguela completamente durante 24 horas cada 6 meses para conservar la batería.

Una vez descargada, la batería volverá a cargarse totalmente en aprox. 90 minutos para los

modelos R5130, R6130, R7130, y aprox. 24 horas para el R4130.

La afeitadora se adapta automáticamente a un voltaje de entre 100V y 240V.

Desenchufe siempre la afeitadora antes de limpiarla o cuando la esté lavando con agua

corriente.

No sumergir.

Mantenga este producto fuera del alcance de los niños. Este aparato puede ser peligroso si lo

utiliza una persona con limitaciones físicas, sensoriales o mentales, o bien, sin la experiencia o

los conocimientos necesarios. Las personas responsables de su seguridad y bienestar deberán

dar instrucciones claras y detalladas o supervisar el uso de este aparato.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Si la batería de la afeitadora está totalmente descargada o si la afeitadora no ha sido utilizada

durante un largo período, es posible que la máquina no se ponga en marcha cuando se utilice

el cable. Si esto ocurriera, cargue la afeitadora durante 60 segundos aproximadamente antes

de iniciar el afeitado.

Su afeitadora debe ser utilizada principalmente sin enchufar, debiendo recargarla solamente

cuando la batería esté baja. El uso continuo de la afeitadora enchufada o su conexión

permanente a la red eléctrica provocará la reducción de la vida útil de la batería.

PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE

Este aparato contiene una batería recargable de níquel-metal-hidruro, respetuosa con el

medio ambiente. No tire el aparato ni la batería al cubo de la basura, ya que en la mayoría de

países existen restricciones al respecto. Cumpla las normas nacionales o locales de recogida y

eliminación de desechos que correspondan a su localidad especíﬁca. En caso de que se le exija

que elimine la batería del aparato de forma separada, consulte las instrucciones de la sección

“Eliminación de la batería” para averiguar cómo abrir la carcasa del aparato.
