Important information

Read instructions carefully before installation. Please keep instructions

for future reference and hand them over to any new user.

Safety

• The power supply unit can be used by persons (aged 8 years and

above) with sufficient experience and knowledge if they have been

given instruction concerning its safe use and understand the hazards

involved. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be made by unsu-

pervised children.

• Children must not play with the power supply unit or the remote

control.

• It is recommended to place the remote control in the room where the

product to be operated has been installed.

• Before operating, ensure that the connected product can be operated

without risk of damage to property or injury to people or animals.

• If mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel

in accordance with national regulations.

• If repair or adjustment work is needed, disconnect mains supply and

ensure that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally.

• The power supply unit must not be covered (maximum ambient

temperature: 50°C).

Product

• The power supply unit has been designed for use with genuine

VELUX products. Connection to other products may cause damage or

malfunction.

• The power supply unit is compatible with products with the

io-homecontrol

®

logo.

• The remote control is based on one-way RF communication and

marked with the symbol

. This symbol can be found under the

battery cover.

• Radio frequency band: 868 MHz.

• Radio frequency range: 300 m free field. Depending on building

construction, the indoor range is approx 30 m. However, constructions

with reinforced concrete, metal ceilings and plaster walls with steel

members may reduce the range.

• Electrical products must be disposed of in conformity with national

regulations for electronic waste and not with household waste.

• Expected battery lifetime of remote control: Up to 1 year.

• Used batteries must not be disposed of together with household

waste but have to be disposed of in conformity with the relevant

national environmental regulations. Batteries contain substances that

can be harmful if not handled and recycled correctly.

•

Use local authority battery disposal point where available.

• The packaging can be disposed of with usual household waste.

Maintenance and service

• Disconnect mains supply before carrying out any maintenance or ser-

vice work to a product connected to the power supply unit and ensure

that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally during this time.

• Spare parts are available through your VELUX sales company. Please

provide information from the data label.

Installation of power supply unit

1. Install the wall bracket for the power supply unit on the

wall. It is recommended to place the power supply unit

in the room where the product to be connected has been

installed.

In case of additional power supply units, the wall brackets

must be spaced at least 11 mm apart.

2. Connect the connecting cable to the power supply unit.

Important: The polarity (+/-) must be kept all the way

through to the product.

3. Hook the power supply unit on the wall bracket.

4. Click the lid on the power supply unit.

Do not connect to mains supply before starting the initial set-

up, see the section Initial set-up.

Installation in rooms with a high level of humidity and with

hidden wiring must comply with national regulations (contact a

qualified electrician if necessary).

The power supply unit has a built-in RF unit and will not be

operative if placed in a metal cabinet.

Initial set-up

Before starting the initial set-up, the product to be supplied

with power must be fitted to the window and connected to the

power supply unit.

The next three steps must be completed within

10 minutes.

1. Connect power supply unit to mains supply.

2. Remove strip from remote control supplied.

3. Press RESET button (for 1 second) on the back of the remote

control with a pointed object.

The product can now be operated.

Note: If the 10 minutes are exceeded, disconnect from mains

supply and start all over again.

Note: If you have more than one power supply unit, you must

finish the initial set-up for one power supply unit at a time.

Wiring

Lead the connecting cable from the power supply unit to the

window. Wiring in roof windows is described in the instructions

for wiring supplied.

The 8 m long cable has a cable cross-section of 2 x 0.75 mm

2

.

If necessary, it can be extended by up to 12 m using the same

cable type (max total length: 20 m). If the cable must be longer

than 20 m, the cable supplied must be replaced by a cable with

a cable cross-section of 2 x 1.50 mm

2

(max total length: 50 m).

Connecting products to a power supply unit

When connecting more than one product, lead the cable to

a junction box from where the cables are distributed to the

individual products. The junction box should be placed as close

as possible to the products to be supplied with power.

Connecting products to additional power supply

units

When installing more than one power supply unit, use a

separate 2-core cable for each power supply unit. Do not use

multicore cables as the signals between the power supply units

and connected products may be disturbed.

Important

The polarity (+/-) must be kept all the way through to the

product.

Note: Before the holder is fixed to the wall, it is recommended

to check if the remote control is able to operate the relevant

products from the fixed position.

If the power supply unit is to supply

more than one product with power,

you must buy control pad KLR 200 ad-

ditionally. The control pad will operate

the products individually.

On page 11 you can see how to copy

the contents of your remote control to

control pad KLR 200.

The remote control supplied is

designed for operating one product

connected to the power supply unit,

for instance one window operator,

one roller shutter, one roller blind or

one set of frame lights.

Fitting of remote control

If required, the remote control can be fixed to the holder as

shown.

Replacement of batteries

Insert new batteries (type AAA, 1.5 volt) as shown.

Resetting

The products connected can be reset by removing the lid of the

power supply unit and pressing the RESET button for at least

5 seconds. Registration is now possible, see the section Initial

set-up.

Note: The connected products will run briefly back and forth in

random order to indicate that they are ready for registration.

Adding control pad KLR 200 to your system

The instructions below show how to copy the contents from the remote

control supplied to control pad KLR 200, which then can operate all

products.

The full instructions for control pad KLR 200 are available at your

VELUX sales company, see telephone list or www.velux.com.

First execute step 1 with the remote control.

Press the RESET button on the back with a pointed object for at least

10 seconds to prepare the products for copying.

You now have two minutes to execute steps 2-6 with control pad KLR 200.

Remove the battery compartment lid by pressing the release button with

a screwdriver as illustrated

Vor Montagebeginn bitte sorgfältig die gesamte Anleitung lesen. Bitte

bewahren Sie die Anleitung für den späteren Gebrauch auf und geben

Sie diese an den jeweiligen neuen Benutzer weiter.

Sicherheit

• Die Steuereinheit kann von Personen (ab 8 Jahren und älter) mit

ausreichenden Erfahrungen und Kenntnissen benutzt werden, wenn

sie eine Einweisung in deren sichere Nutzung erhalten haben und die

damit verbundenen Gefahren verstehen. Reinigung und Wartung

dürfen nicht von unbeaufsichtigten Kindern ausgeführt werden.

• Kinder dürfen nicht mit der Steuereinheit oder der Fernbedienung

spielen.

• Es empfiehlt sich die Fernbedienung in dem Raum zu platzieren, in

dem das zu bedienende Produkt montiert ist.

• Das angeschlossene Produkt sollte nur dann bedient werden, wenn

Sie sich vergewissert haben, dass dies ohne Risiko für Personen, Tiere

oder Gegenstände erfolgen kann.

• Falls die Netzleitung beschädigt wird, muss der Austausch gemäß

nationalen Bestimmungen durch eine qualifizierte Elektro-Fachkraft

erfolgen.

• Falls Reparaturarbeiten oder Anpassungen erforderlich sind, zuerst

die Stromversorgung ausschalten und sicherstellen, dass diese nicht

unabsichtlich wieder eingeschaltet werden kann.

• Die Steuereinheit darf nicht überdeckt werden (maximale Umge-

bungstemperatur: 50 °C).

Produkt

• Die Steuereinheit ist für den Gebrauch mit originalen VELUX Produk-

ten konstruiert. Der Anschluss an andere Produkte kann Schäden oder

Funktionsstörungen verursachen.

• Die Steuereinheit ist mit Produkten mit dem io-homecontrol

®

Logo

kompatibel.

• Die Fernbedienung basiert auf Einweg RF-Kommunikation und ist

mit dem Symbol

versehen. Dieses Symbol befindet sich unter dem

Batteriedeckel.

• Radiofrequenzband: 868 MHz.

• Reichweite der Radiofrequenz: 300 m im freien Feld. Je nach Baukon-

struktion liegt die Reichweite im Haus bei ca. 30 m. Jedoch können

Aufbauten mit verstärktem Beton, Metalldecken und Gipswänden mit

Stahlbewehrungen die Reichweite verringern.

• Elektrische Produkte sind nach nationalen Bestimmungen als elektro-

nischer Müll zu entsorgen und dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll gelangen.

• Erwartete Lebensdauer der Batterien in der Fernbedienung:

Ca. 1 Jahr.

• Batterien dürfen nicht im Hausmüll gelangen, sondern sind nach den

geltenden Umweltrichtlinien zu entsorgen. Batterien enthalten Stoffe,

die schädlich sein können, wenn sie nicht korrekt behandelt und wie-

derverwertet werden.

Batterien an Hersteller, Vertreiber oder kommunale Erfassungsstel-

len zurückgeben.

• Die Verpackung kann mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

Wartung und Service

• Bei Wartung und Service eines Produkts, das an die Steuereinheit

angeschlossen ist, zuerst die Stromversorgung ausschalten und

sicherstellen, dass diese nicht unabsichtlich wieder eingeschaltet

werden kann.

• Ersatzteile sind bei Ihrer zuständigen VELUX Vertriebsgesellschaft

erhältlich. Hierzu bitte die Informationen auf dem Typenaufkleber

angeben.

Montage der Steuereinheit

1. Die Wandkonsole der Steuereinheit an der Wand befesti-

gen. Es empfiehlt sich die Steuereinheit in dem Raum zu

platzieren, in dem das anzuschlieβende Produkt montiert

ist.

Bei mehreren Steuereinheiten sind die Wandkonsolen mit

einem Abstand von jeweils mindestens 11 mm anzubringen.

2. Die Verbindungsleitung an die Steuereinheit anschlieβen.

Wichtig: Die Polarität (+/-) muss zum Produkt eingehalten

werden.

3. Die Steuereinheit an die Wandkonsole einhaken.

4. Die Abdeckung auf die Steuereinheit klicken.

Die Steuereinheit an die Netzspannung erst dann anschließen,

wenn das Programmierungverfahren eingeleitet wird, siehe den

Abschnitt Programmierung.

Bei Montage in Feuchträumen und bei Leitungführung unter

Putz sind die geltenden Bestimmungen einzuhalten (wenn

notwendig, wenden Sie sich an einen Elektroinstallateur).

Die Steuereinheit hat eine eingebaute RF- (Radiofrequenz)

Einheit und wird nicht funktionieren, wenn diese in einem

Metallschrank platziert wird.

Programmierung

Bevor das Programmierungsverfahren eingeleitet werden

kann, muss das mit Strom zu versorgende Produkt im Fenster

montiert und an die Steuereinheit angeschlossen sein.

Die folgenden drei Schritte müssen innerhalb von

10 Minuten abgeschlossen sein.

1. Steuereinheit an die Netzspannung anschließen.

2. Streifen aus der mitgelieferten Fernbedienung entfernen.

3. RESET-Knopf auf der Rückseite der Fernbedienung (1 Sekun-

de) mit einem spitzen Gegenstand eindrücken.

Das Produkt kann jetzt bedient werden.

Hinweis: Falls die 10 Minuten überschritten werden, müssen

Sie die Steuereinheit von der Netzspannung kurz trennen und

den Programmierungsvorgang wiederholen.

Hinweis: Bei mehreren Steuereinheiten müssen Sie das Pro-

grammierungsverfahren für jeweils eine Steuereinheit nach der

anderen abschlieβen.

Leitungsführung

Führen Sie die Verbindungsleitung von der Steuereinheit zum

Fenster. Die Leitungsführung in den Dachfenstern ist in der

mitgelieferten Anleitung für die Leitungsführung beschrieben.

Die 8 m lange Kabelleitung hat einen Leitungsquerschnitt von

2 x 0,75 mm

2

. Bei Bedarf kann sie um 12 m desselben Leitungs-

typs (max. Gesamtlänge: 20 m) verlängert werden. Falls die

Kabelleitung länger als 20 m sein muss, ist die mitgelieferte

Verbindungsleitung durch eine Leitung mit einem Leitungs-

querschnitt von 2 x 1,50 mm

2

(max. Gesamtlänge: 50 m) zu

ersetzen.

Produkte an eine Steuereinheit anschlieβen

Beim Anschließen mehrerer Produkte die Verbindungslei-

tung zu einer Verteilerdose führen, von wo aus die anderen

Kabelleitungen an die jeweiligen Produkte verteilt werden. Die

Verteilerdose möglichst nahe an den mit Strom zu versorgen-

den Produkten platzieren.

Produkte an mehrere Steuereinheiten anschlieβen

Wenn mehr als eine Steuereinheit installiert wird, muss von

jeder Steuereinheit eine separate 2-adrige Kabelleitung verlegt

werden. Mehradrige Kabelleitungen dürfen nicht verwendet

werden, da die Signale zwischen den Steuereinheiten und den

Produkten gestört werden können.

Wichtig

Die Polarität (+/-) muss zum Produkt eingehalten werden.

Tasten zur Bedienung des Produkts

Kurzer Tastendruck: Produkt läuft bis zur Endposition.

Langer Tastendruck: Produkt läuft, bis die Taste nicht länger

gedrückt wird.

Montage des Halters für die Fernbedienung

Hinweis: Es wird empfohlen zu prüfen, ob die Fernbedienung

die relevanten Produkte von der vorgesehenen Platzierung

bedienen kann, bevor der Halter an der Wand befestigt wird.

Falls die Steuereinheit mehr als ein

Produkt mit Strom versorgen soll,

müssen Sie sich zusätzlich Control Pad

KLR 200 erwerben. Das Control Pad

bedient die Produkte individuell.

Auf Seite 25 wird gezeigt, wie der

Inhalt Ihrer Fernbedienung auf ein

Control Pad KLR 200 kopiert wird.

Die mitgelieferte Fernbedienung ist

zum Bedienen eines an die Stromver-

sorgung angeschlossenen Produkts,

z. B. eines Fenstermotors, eines

Rollladens, eines Rollos oder einer

Fensterbeleuchtung konzipiert.

Befestigung der Fernbedienung

Die Fernbedienung kann, falls erforderlich, wie abgebildet im

Halter festgeschraubt werden.

Austausch der Batterien

Neue Batterien (Typ AAA, 1,5 Volt) wie gezeigt einsetzen.

Zurücksetzung

Die angeschlossenen Produkte lassen sich zurücksetzen, indem

Sie die Abdeckung der Steuereinheit entfernen und den

RESET-Knopf mindestens 5 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Die

Registrierung ist jetzt möglich, siehe den Abschnitt Program-

mierung.

Hinweis: Die angeschlossenen Produkte laufen kurzzeitig in

einer zufälligen Reihenfolge vor und zurück um anzuzeigen,

dass sie jetzt für die Registrierung bereit sind.

Dem System das Control Pad KLR 200 hinzufügen

Die folgenden Anweisungen zeigen, wie der Inhalt der mitgelieferten

Fernbediening auf ein Control Pad KLR 200 kopiert wird, das dann alle

Produkte ansteuern kann.

Die volle Anleitung für Control Pad KLR 200 ist über Ihre VELUX Ver-

triebsgesellschaft erhältlich, siehe Telefonverzeichnis oder

www.velux.com.

Führen Sie zuerst den Schritt 1 mit der Fernbedienung durch.

Drücken Sie den RESET-Knopf auf der Rückseite der Fernbedienung min-

destens 10 Sekunden mit einem spitzen Gegenstand, um die Produkte

für das Kopieren vorzubereiten.

Führen Sie jetzt die Schritte 2-6 innerhalb von zwei Minuten mit dem

Control Pad KLR 200 durch.

Lösen Sie den Batteriedeckel durch Drücken der Entriegelungstaste mit

einem Schraubendreher wie abgebildet

Information importante

Lire attentivement la totalité de la notice avant l'installation. Conserver

cette notice pour vous y référer en cas de besoin et ne pas oublier de la

transmettre à tout nouvel utilisateur.

Sécurité

• L'unité de contrôle peut être utilisée par des personnes (âgés de

8 ans et plus) ayant suffisamment d'expériences et de connaissances

s'ils ont reçu des instructions appropriées concernant une utilisation

de manière sûre et comprennent les risques associés. Le nettoyage

et la maintenance ne doivent pas être réalisés par des enfants sans

surveillance.

• Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l'unité de contrôle ou la télé-

commande.

• Il est recommandé de positionner la télécommande dans la pièce où le

produit actionné a été installé.

• Avant d'actionner le produit connecté, s'assurer que cela peut être

fait sans risque de dommages matériels ou de blessures pour une

personne ou un animal.

• Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il devra être remplacé par

un électricien qualifié conformément à la réglementation en vigueur.

• Avant toute opération de réparation ou de réglage, débrancher l'ali-

mentation électrique et s'assurer que l'on ne puisse pas la rebrancher

par inadvertance pendant ces opérations.

• L'unité de contrôle ne doit pas être recouverte (température maximale

d'usage : 50°C).

Produit

• L'unité de contrôle a été conçue pour fonctionner avec des produits de

marque VELUX. Toute connexion à des produits d'une autre marque

peut endommager le produit ou entraîner un dysfonctionnement.

• L'unité de contrôle est compatible avec des produits portant le logo

io-homecontrol

®

• La télécommande est basée sur la communication RF une voie et mar-

quée avec le symbole

. Ce symbole peut être repéré sous le capot du

boîtier des piles.

• Fréquence radio : 868 MHz.

• Portée de la transmission radio : 300 m en extérieur et sans obstacle.

En intérieur, portée d'environ 30 m dépendant des éléments de

construction. Cependant les constructions en béton armé, les plafonds

métalliques et les plaques de plâtre avec des ossatures en acier

peuvent réduire cette valeur.

• Les produits électriques/électroniques doivent être mis en décharge

conformément à la réglementation sur les déchets électroniques en

vigueur et ne doivent pas être jetés avec les ordures ménagères.

• Durée de vie estimée des piles de la télécommande : jusqu'à 1 an.

• Les batteries usagées ne doivent pas être jetées avec les déchets

ménagers mais doivent être collectées conformément à la réglemen-

tation nationale en vigueur. Les batteries contiennent des substances

qui peuvent être dangereuses, si elles ne sont pas utilisées et recyclées

correctement.

Utiliser les points de collecte locaux ou déchetteries si disponible.

• L'emballage peut être jeté avec les ordures ménagères.

Entretien et réparation

• Débrancher l'alimentation électrique avant tous travaux d'entretien ou

de maintenance sur le produit connecté à l'unité de contrôle. S'assurer

que l'on ne puisse pas la rebrancher par inadvertance pendant ces

opérations.

• Les pièces détachées sont disponibles auprès de votre société de

vente VELUX. Communiquer alors les informations se trouvant sur

l'étiquette du produit.
