1.3 Produktinformationen

2 Sicherheit

2.1 Sicherheitshinweise

▶ Beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise in dieser Dokumentation und in der Dokumentation des Hilti

Bohrhammers.

▶ Benutzen Sie einen Atemschutz, der den anfallenden Reststaub beim Bohren und bei Servicearbeiten

von Gesicht und Atemwegen fern hält.

▶ Benutzen Sie auch bei montiertem Staubmodul immer den Seitenhandgriff des Hilti Bohrhammers.

▶ Gesundheitsgefährdende Werkstoffe (z. B. Asbest) dürfen nicht gesaugt werden.

3.2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das Staubmodul TE DRS4A (01) wird als Zubehör für den Hilti Bohrhammer TE 4A22 (02) verwendet.

Es sammelt einen großen Prozentsatz des entstehenden Staubes ein und kann schnell und einfach am

Bohrhammer befestigt werden. Im Staubmodul ist ein Sauglüfter integriert. Dieser wird durch einen

eigenen Motor angetrieben. Beim Einschalten des Bohrhammers bezieht das Modul seinen Strom aus dem

Bohrhammer-Akku.

Für Arbeiten in Metall und Holz ist das Staubmodul nicht geeignet.

Bedingungen: TE DRS-4-A T1

Das TE DRS-4-A T1 erfüllt die Richtlinie OSHA 1926.1153 Table 1.

5 Bedienung

5.1 Arbeitsvorbereitung

VORSICHT

Verletzungsgefahr! Unbeabsichtigter Anlauf des Produkts.

▶ Entfernen Sie den Akku, bevor Sie Geräteeinstellungen vornehmen oder Zubehörteile wechseln.

Beachten Sie die Sicherheits- und Warnhinweise in dieser Dokumentation und auf dem Produkt.

5.1.1 Staubmodul montieren 2

Hinweis

Achten Sie vor der Montage darauf, dass die Fixierpunkte und die elektrischen Schnittstellen am

Bohrhammer und am Staubmodul staubfrei und leichtgängig sind.

1. Entfernen Sie den Akku.

2. Schalten Sie den Rechts- / Linkslauf des Bohrhammers in Mittelstellung.

3. Entfernen Sie den Tiefenanschlag vom Seitenhandgriff.

4. Schieben Sie das Staubmodul von vorne auf das Gerät, bis es einrastet.

5. Kontrollieren Sie nach der Montage, dass das Staubmodul richtig eingerastet ist.

5.2 Arbeiten

5.2.1 Länge einstellen (Hub) 3

WARNUNG

Verletzungsgefahr Beim Drücken des Hub-Voreinstellungsknopfes schnellt das Teleskop heraus.

▶ Halten Sie den Bohrhammer mit Staubmodul so, dass das herausschnellende Teleskop Sie nicht

verletzen kann.

Hinweis

Standardmäßig ist der Hub auf eine Bohrerlänge von 170 mm abgestimmt. Für kürzere Bohrer muss

der Hub angepasst werden.

1. Drücken Sie die Hubbegrenzung und halten Sie diesen gedrückt.

2. Drücken Sie den Bohrhammer mit eingesetztem Bohrer gegen den Untergrund, bis der Bohrer diesen

berührt.

3. Lassen Sie die Hubbegrenzung los.

5.2.2 Bohrtiefe einstellen (Tiefenanschlag)

Hinweis

Ist eine genaue Bohrtiefe erforderlich, muss diese durch Probebohrungen Ermittelt werden.

1. Drücken Sie den Tiefenanschlag und halten Sie diesen gedrückt.

2. Verschieben Sie den Ring bis zur gewünschten Bohrtiefe.

3. Lassen Sie den Tiefenanschlag los.

5.2.3 TE-DRS-T1-Filter abreinigen 4

Hinweis

Reinigen Sie den Filter nach 5 Bohrlöchern (16 mm x 50 mm) (1/2 in x 3 in) ab.

▶ Wenn die Saugleistung nachlässt, drücken Sie den Reinigungsmechanismus bis zu einem hörbaren Klick

je 5 mal vor und zurück.

5.2.4 Staubbox entleeren 5

Hinweis

Ein voller Filter kann zu übermäßiger Staubentwicklung führen und muss regelmäßig entleert werden.

Benutzen Sie dazu einen Atemschutz.

1. Halten Sie das Gerät waagerecht und lassen Sie es kurz laufen.

◁ Dadurch werden die Staubreste, die sich im Staubmodul abgelagert haben, in die Staubbox gesaugt.

2. Drücken Sie die Entriegelungstaste des Staubbehälters und halten Sie diese gedrückt.

3. Ziehen Sie die Staubbox nach unten aus dem Staubmodul.

4. Entleeren Sie die Staubbox.

5. Schieben Sie die leere Staubbox von unten in das Staubmodul bis diese einrastet.

5.2.5 Staubmodul demontieren

1. Demontieren Sie das Einsatzwerkzeug.

2. Schalten Sie den Rechts- / Linkslauf des Bohrhammers in Mittelstellung.

3. Drücken Sie die Entriegelung DRS und halten Sie diese gedrückt.

4. Ziehen Sie das Staubmodul nach unten vom Gerät ab.

6 Pflege und Instandhaltung

▶ Prüfen Sie regelmäßig alle Teile des Moduls auf Beschädigungen und auf einwandfreie Funktion.

Betreiben Sie das Modul nicht, wenn Teile beschädigt sind oder nicht einwandfrei funktionieren.

▶ Verwenden Sie kein Wasser, keine Öle, Fette oder Reinigungsmittel.

▶ Reinigen Sie das Staubmodul nur mit einer trockenen Bürste und einem Reinigungstuch.

▶ Berühren Sie beim Reinigen nicht das Filtermaterial und verwenden Sie keine Druckluft zum Reinigen.

Dies kann das Filtermaterial beschädigen.

6.1 Absaugkopf wechseln 6

1. Demontieren Sie das Staubmodul. → Seite 4

2. Drücken Sie den Entriegelungsknopf des Absaugkopfes und halten Sie ihn gedrückt.

3. Ziehen Sie den alten Absaugkopf nach oben aus der Führung.

4. Drücken Sie den neuen Absaugkopf in die Führung bis er einrastet.

7 Transport und Lagerung von Akku-Geräten

Transport

VORSICHT

Unbeabsichtigter Anlauf beim Transport. Durch eingesetzte Akkus kann es zu unkontrolliertem

Anlauf beim Transport des Gerätes kommen und dieses beschädigt werden.

▶ Gerät immer ohne eingesetzte Akkus transportieren.

▶ Akkus entnehmen.

▶ Gerät und Akkus einzeln verpackt transportieren.

▶ Akkus nie in loser Schüttung transportieren.

▶ Nach längerem Transport Gerät und Akkus vor Gebrauch auf Beschädigung kontrollieren.

Lagerung

VORSICHT

Unbeabsichtigte Beschädigung durch defekte Akkus. Durch auslaufende Akkus kann das Gerät

beschädigt werden.

▶ Gerät immer ohne eingesetzte Akkus lagern.

▶ Gerät und Akkus möglichst kühl und trocken lagern.

▶ Akkus nie in der Sonne, auf Heizungen, oder hinter Glasscheiben lagern.

▶ Gerät und Akkus unzugänglich für Kinder und unbefugte Personen lagern.

▶ Nach längerer Lagerung Gerät und Akkus vor Gebrauch auf Beschädigung kontrollieren.

2 Safety

2.1 Safety instructions

▶ Observe all safety instructions in this documentation and in the documentation of the Hilti rotary hammer

drill.

▶ Use respiratory protection to keep residual dust away from the face and airways when drilling and when

servicing the tool or accessories.

▶ Always use the side handle on the Hilti rotary hammer drill, even when the dust removal module is fitted.

▶ Picking up materials hazardous to the health (e.g. asbestos) is not permissible.

3.2 Intended use

The TE DRS4A (01) dust removal module is an accessory for the Hilti TE 4A22 (02) rotary hammer drill. It

collects a high percentage of the dust and it attaches quickly and easily to the rotary hammer drill. The dust

removal module has a built-in extractor fan. This fan is driven by its own motor. When the rotary hammer

drill is switched on the dust removal module draws its electric power from the rotary hammer drill’s battery.

The dust removal module is not suitable for working on metal and wood.

Conditions: TE DRS-4-A T1

The TE DRS-4-A T1 satisfies the requirements of OSHA 1926.1153 Table 1.

5 Operation

5.1 Preparations at the workplace

CAUTION

Risk of injury! Inadvertent starting of the product.

▶ Remove the battery before making any adjustments to the power tool or before changing

accessories.

Observe the safety instructions and warnings in this documentation and on the product.

5.1.1 Fitting the dust removal module 2

Note

Before fitting the module, check that the attachment points and the electrical interfaces on the rotary

hammer drill and dust removal module are free of dust and that the parts fit or move freely and easily.

1. Remove the battery.

2. Set the forward / reverse selector switch on the rotary hammer drill to the middle position.

3. Remove the depth gauge from the side handle.

4. Push the dust removal module onto the tool from the front until it engages.

5. After fitting, check that the dust removal module is secure.

▶ Hold the rotary hammer with the dust removal module so that the telescopic section cannot injure

you when it jumps out.

Note

The default stroke setting is for a drill bit length of 170 mm. The stroke has to be adjusted if shorter

drill bits are used.

1. Press the stroke length limiter and keep it pressed.

2. With the drill bit fitted, press the rotary hammer drill against the working surface until the tip of the drill

bit comes into contact with the surface.

3. Release the stroke length limiter.

5.2.2 Setting drilling depth (depth gauge)

Note

If drilling depth has to be exact, drill test holes to establish the correct depth.

1. Press the depth gauge and keep it pressed in.

2. Move the ring to the desired drilling depth.

3. Release the depth gauge.

5.2.3 Cleaning the TE-DRS-T1 filter 4

Note

Clean the filter after drilling 5 holes (16 mm x 50 mm) (1/2 in x 3 in).

▶ When suction power diminishes, slide the cleaning mechanism 5 times forward and back until it audibly

clicks on each slide.

5.2.4 Emptying the dust box 5

Note

Dust can escape if the filter is full, so it has to be emptied regularly. Wear respiratory protection when

doing this.

1. Hold the power tool horizontal and allow it to run for a short time.

◁ This ensures that residual dust deposits in the dust removal module are drawn into the dust box.

2. Press and hold down the release button of the dust container.

3. Pull the dust box down and clear of the dust removal module.

4. Empty the dust box.

5. Push the empty dust box back into the dust removal module from below until it engages.

5.2.5 Removing the dust removal module

1. Remove the accessory tool.

2. Set the forward / reverse selector switch on the rotary hammer drill to the middle position.

3. Press and hold down the DRS release button.

4. Pull the dust removal module downwards away from the power tool.

6 Care and maintenance

▶ Check all parts of the module for signs of damage at regular intervals and make sure that they all function

correctly. Do not use the module if parts are damaged or if they do not function correctly.

▶ Do not use water, oil, grease or cleaning products.

▶ Use only a dry brush and a cloth to clean the dust removal module.

▶ Do not touch the filter material when cleaning it and do not use compressed air to clean it. This can

damage the filter material.

6.1 Changing the suction head 6

2. Press and hold down the suction head release button.

3. Pull the old suction head up and out of its guide.

4. Press the new suction head into the guide until it engages.

7 Transport and storage of cordless tools

Transport

CAUTION

Inadvertent starting during transport. Uncontrolled starting during transport may occur if the battery

is fitted, thereby resulting in damage to the tool.

▶ Always remove the battery before transporting the tool.

▶ Remove the battery.

▶ Transport the tool and batteries individually packaged.

▶ Never transport batteries in bulk form (loose, unprotected).

▶ Check the tool and batteries for damage before use after long periods of transport.

Storage

CAUTION

Inadvertent damage caused by defective battery. A leaking battery may damage the tool.

▶ Always remove the battery before storing the tool.

▶ Store the tool and batteries in a place that is as cool and dry as possible.

▶ Never store batteries in direct sunlight, on heating units or behind a window pane.

▶ Store the tool and batteries in a place where they cannot be accessed by children or unauthorized

persons.

▶ Check the tool and batteries for damage before use after long periods of storage.

9 Disposal

Most of the materials from which Hilti tools and appliances are manufactured can be recycled. The

materials must be correctly separated before they can be recycled. In many countries, your old tools,

machines or appliances can be returned to Hilti for recycling. Ask Hilti Service or your Hilti representative

for further information.

2 Veiligheid

2.1 Veiligheidsinstructies

▶ Alle veiligheidsvoorschriften in deze documentatie en in de documentatie van de Hilti boorhamer in acht

nemen.

▶ Gebruik een stofmasker, dat de reststof die bij het boren en bij onderhoudswerkzaamheden optreedt van

gezicht en ademwegen verwijderd houdt.

▶ Gebruik ook bij een gemonteerde stofmodule altijd de zijhandgreep van de Hilti boorhamer.

▶ Materialen die schadelijk zijn voor de gezondheid (bijv. asbest) mogen niet worden opgezogen.

3.2 Correct gebruik

De stofmodule TE DRS4A (01) wordt als toebehoor voor de Hilti boorhamer TE 4A22 (02) gebruikt. Deze

verzamelt een grote hoeveelheid van de stof die optreedt en kan snel en eenvoudig aan de boorhamer

worden bevestigd. In de stofmodule is een zuigventilator geïntegreerd. Deze wordt door een eigen motor

aangedreven. Bij het inschakelen van de boorhamer betrekt de module zijn stroom uit de accu van de

boorhamer.

De stofmodule is niet geschikt voor het boren in metaal en hout.

Voorwaarden: TE DRS-4-A T1

Het TE DRS-4-A T1 voldoet aan de richtlijn OSHA 1926.1153 Table 1.

5 Bediening

5.1 Werkvoorbereiding

ATTENTIE

Gevaar voor letsel! Onbedoeld in werking treden van het product.

▶ Verwijder de accu, alvorens apparaatinstellingen uit te voeren of toebehoren te wisselen.

De veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingsaanwijzingen in deze documentatie en op het product in acht

nemen.

5.1.1 Stofmodule monteren 2

Aanwijzing

Let er vóór het monteren op dat de bevestigingspunten en de elektrische aansluitingen op de

boorhamer en de stofmodule stofvrij zijn en gemakkelijk kunnen worden bewogen.

1. Verwijder de accu.

2. Zet de rechts-/linksloopschakelaar van de boorhamer in de middelste stand.

3. Verwijder de diepte-aanslag uit de zijhandgreep.

4. Schuif de stofmodule vanaf de voorzijde op het apparaat tot hij vergrendelt.

5. Controleer na het monteren dat de stofmodule correct vergrendeld is.

5.2 Werkzaamheden

5.2.1 Lengte instellen (slag) 3

WAARSCHUWING

Gevaar voor letsel Bij het indrukken van de knop voor de voorinstelling van de slag schiet de

telescoop naar buiten.

▶ Houd de boorhamer met stofmodule zo vast dat de naar buiten schietende telescoop u niet kan

verwonden.

Aanwijzing

Standaard is de slag op een boorlengte van 170 mm afgestemd. Voor kortere boren moet de slag

worden aangepast.

1. Druk de slagbegrenzing in en houd deze ingedrukt.

2. Druk de boorhamer met aangebrachte boor tegen de ondergrond, totdat de boor deze aanraakt.

3. Laat de slagbegrenzing los.

5.2.2 Boordiepte instellen (diepte-aanslag)

Aanwijzing

Als een exacte boordiepte noodzakelijk is, dan moet deze door middel van proefboringen worden

bepaald.

1. Druk de diepte-aanslag in en houd deze ingedrukt.

2. Verschuif de ring naar de gewenste boordiepte.

3. Laat de diepte-aanslag los.

5.2.3 TE-DRS-T1-filter reinigen 4

Aanwijzing

Reinig het filter na 5 boorgaten (16 mm x 50 mm) (1/2 in x 3 in).

▶ Wanneer het zuigvermogen afneemt, drukt u het reinigingsmechanisme tot een hoorbare klik 5 maal heen

en terug.

5.2.4 Stofbox leegmaken 5

Aanwijzing

Een vol filter kan tot overmatige stofontwikkeling leiden en dit moet regelmatig worden geleegd. Draag

hierbij een stofmasker.

1. Houd het apparaat horizontaal en laat het kort lopen.

◁ Hierdoor worden de stofresten die zich in de stofmodule hebben afgezet in de stofbox gezogen.

2. Druk de ontgrendelingstoets van het stofreservoir in en houd deze ingedrukt.

3. Trek de stofbox naar beneden uit de stofmodule.

4. Leeg de stofbox.

5. Schuif de lege stofbox van onderaf in de stofmodule tot deze vergrendelt.

5.2.5 Stofmodule demonteren

1. Verwijder het inzetgereedschap.

2. Zet de rechts-/linksloopschakelaar van de boorhamer in de middelste stand.

3. Druk op de ontgrendeling van de DRS en houd deze ingedrukt.

4. Trek de stofmodule naar beneden van het apparaat af.

6 Verzorging en onderhoud

▶ Controleer regelmatig alle externe delen van de module op beschadigingen en of deze correct werken.

Gebruik de module niet als er onderdelen beschadigd zijn of niet optimaal functioneren.

▶ Gebruik geen water of olie en geen vet of reinigingsmiddelen.

▶ Reinig de stofmodule alleen met een droge borstel en een schoonmaakdoek.

▶ Bij het reinigen het filtermateriaal niet aanraken en geen perslucht gebruiken voor het reinigen. Dit kan

tot beschadiging van het filtermateriaal leiden.

6.1 Afzuigkop vervangen 6

1. Demonteer de stofmodule. → Pagina 14

2. Druk de ontgrendelingsknop van de afzuigkop in en houd deze ingedrukt.

3. Trek de oude afzuigkop naar boven uit de geleiding.

4. Druk de nieuwe afzuigkop in de geleiding tot hij vergrendelt.

7 Transport en opslag van accu-apparaten

Transport

ATTENTIE

Onbedoeld in werking treden tijdens transport. Door aangebrachte accu's kan het apparaat tijdens

het transport onbedoeld in werking treden en beschadigd worden.

▶ Transporteer het apparaat altijd zonder aangebrachte accu's.

▶ Accu's verwijderen.

▶ Transporteer het apparaat en de accu's afzonderlijk.

▶ Transporteer de accu's nooit zonder verpakking.

▶ Controleer na een langdurig transport het apparaat en de accu's voor gebruik op beschadiging.
